I would give it a try. Maybe cook it longer than suggested on the package? I have found that when I do that it changes the texture at times.

Right. I figured the 15 minutes would do it, but maybe 20 minutes longer would’ve done the trick. I could’ve preheated it longer too.

@FrobulousVeggies I can definitely completely understand that! Maybe Preheat the Airfryer for 5 minutes, then cook for 8 to 9 minutes and turn it over and another 8 to 9 minutes? I hope this helps and have a wonderful day!!😊✌️🌱❤️

The texture is my biggest issue too. When I first tried it, I was very impressed. The second time I cooked it, I noticed the texture was mushy and really off-putting.

Exactly. I just couldn’t get past it.

Another great review! I think chicken is pretty difficult to vegan-ize. Texture matters

Thank you girl! So true. That texture is key.

I contacted Meati to ask what their "natural flavor" consists of. They refused, saying it's "confidential" and "proprietary" . This along with them not labeling this particular product as vegan tells me it actually is not 100% vegan.

The tea! Things are starting to make sense now

Huh? All their products contain “natural flavor.” Where do they not label this particular product as vegan?

I so agree with you about the texture, it’s quite odd! I’ve tried both the carne asada and now the crispy cutlets
and now I’m done with Meati products.

See, I knew I wasn’t the only one who had that initial experience. Thank you for sharing 💜
