@@Eradicati0nn it wasn't like a personal meeting it was a tip from the comment section on one of your vids. I remember seeing it somewhere a while back.
@@Eradicati0nn Btw I have to tell you I have been obsessed with your videos and pixelcaves xD I'm looking all over the place for various building tips etc. I find them a lot for Fallout 76 but having a harder time finding stuff for Conan but I think it's because Conan has a broader gameplay spectrum than Fallout where the game is so easy it's basically all about the building and yeah bugthesda tend to make some massive mistakes so you can do crazy stuff. Kinda wish we had more merging tricks in Conan ^^
Good that you Point out that you good that technique from barden, fair thing. Sad thing about is that its probably gonna get patched out once it will get more popular.. Since Funcom removed Fence Stacking on Walls and said they dont want it in the Game. Its just a too big influence in pvp i guess. Even tho it will be sad for us builders... Also its maybe woth pointing out that you can Ninja inside these unless there is a real fence in the lower part.
I was wondering if you have tips on how to alter the visuals of some of the building blocks. For example i like using stone but if I add the stage stairs they are wood. is there a manner in which to make visually look like the stone I have used ? The only downside I find in building is that many items that I like to use are not present in all DLC packs. So i often grab a foundation from one source a wall from another and a ceiling or roof from a third etc. Some of the packs seem t blend wel with each other but some do not. I would find a manner of changing how such items look very useful as all too often I find that lower tier walls I like as they are less elaborate, I do not like having a series of spikes on every blocjk that I place as I am building something with clean line not a porcupine :) Anyways thanks for uploading such useful content which I have made great use of.
@@Eradicati0nn After you place the door frame in the stable fence, you put some stairs on top then a pillar and drive it down into the door frame then you get like a slice window effect. th-cam.com/users/clipUgkx6Jfu2o36NiBz8gub5WIRS5_Z6pca50qk
do you have a video on where the best place to build a base in the entire game is? not in terms of astetics as everybody has a difrent teast, but in gameplay, close thrall locations and easy acces to resources? where there are brutal purges for when you want a siege or pure humans and not dam lizards!
There isn't really a "perfect" place to live as such, just a lot of really good spots. I'd suggest looking for spots around Sepermeru, New Asagarth, or the Volcano if you're after a challenge and want good access to thralls and resources
The arena pieces aren't coloured at all. I don't think I had any mods running whilst I was recording this video, though I did record on ultra settings so the saturation might be a bit different
That would be very nice. The Arcane doors in the battle pass are fairly nice, as are the Interior Walls included in the Sandstone Timber Set. Hopefully now they've done it once, they'll add more interior walls & better doors in the future
@@Eradicati0nn I'd also like chair and beds that act kinda like benches in that you could place a thrall in it and have them sitting at the table or sleeping in the barracks.
No windows for me :( I find it idiotic that you must pay real money for building blocks. If the building system wasn't so restrictive as it is, I might even consider paying.
You can always add the mod Less Building Placement Restrictions, it's highly configurable and allows you to build without having absurd restrictions forced by Funcom. The Conan universe, as Howard have describe it in his awesome books, was NOT so square made and yes, their civilizations was able to build windows also 😂

Pretty sure Poh showed you guys this trick?

@@ToothIess I don't recall meeting anyone named Poh. Other people using this trick may have though?

I was having an issue with using a triangle base, door frame and fence. So glad I found your video, It working. Thank you!!!
Man I thought I was the only one who did this technique glad it’s finally getting recognition 👍👍👍
It is a lovely technique.
Hopefully they never patch it out.
Also, good to know some of my favourite builders collab at times.
I just started watching Barden builds. I gotta say you both are really clever builders. These tips are awesome.
Barden does some great stuff, I've worked with him on stuff before and most likely will again in the future
Thanks a lot. Will definitely construct windows this way now.
This is an awesome idea. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I have been struggling with windows since day one
It's understandable, trying to make your own windows isn't terribly user-friendly. Hopefully this helps out!
Hopefully funcom adds window options soon. But till then this is a great alternative. Keep up the incredible work you do
Thank you! I always wanted better window options!
They're not perfect, but they do a damn good job! Hopefully Funcom adds some more windows in the future, especially ones similar to the Arcane pieces.
That looks great can't wait to try this in our base, thanks for the building tip!
You're very welcome, it should work great!

@Eradicati0n you forgot the pillar in the door frame with the fence trick
Pillar in the door frame? I'm not familiar with that, could you explain it?

Slits were used for a REASON, and not just for arrows, historically.

No mods necessary...
Needs a purchased only DLC.
Absolutely pointless video.
