Just to anyone who hasn't had a chance to playtest this yet, this is exactly how the game looks when you play it. This isn't just a cinematic trailer, this trailer is entirely in-engine, this is exactly how it looks and feels to play.

@@gojoke6384 My card is 5 years old (2080) and I play at 1440p, in the very limited closed Alpha last year when optimisation was a mess I still hit 120fps at all times, can only imagine release will be better.

@@gojoke6384yeah, for the juicier graphics you’re gonna need a fairly beefy pc, but running it on low is probably good for most modern machines.

The closed alpha one went the hardest. The beta was way less energy. This one is definitely a banger one. Almost as much as hype as the alpha

Right when I was playing in the close beta, we had some teams hold the box on top of the crane, and it was impossible to get to them. I’m glad they added the feature to destroy the crane.
@Some0ne001 it wasnt impossible to get them you just couldn't get them through the normal climbing route you needed to jump pad off a building or zip lines to get up to them
I'm very happy with how its turning out. They really listened to tons of our feedback and its showing.

Update: After a couple of matches, I can definitively say that this game is absolutely phenomenal. I also give my utmost praise to whoever on the team optimized this game, because I can run this game on max graphics + max dynamic lighting on my outdated rig. That must've been one herculean feat!

I think it's only certain guns, similar to the marksman rifle having a scope. Imo that would be ideal to keep things interesting and add another layer to weapon balancing. Ironsights only was a really cool idea given every single fps these days you slap a sight on as soon as you can

@@automata. agreed, but I do feel that a lot of the guns they’ve chosen for the game as of now (the Mac-10 for instance) have really chunky iron sights that aren’t that great to use, so the option would be nice. Them adding more options with optical sights as alternatives to already-existing guns is a good compromise.
Just played the beta and I’m amazed by how smooth this game feels. Massive props to the sound design team on this as well, not only the guns and explosions but general ambient sfx and ui sounds are so crips and clean along with the ux design elements. Excited to keep playing!

Played this for a couple days so far, and this game has got "it", the vibes, gamplay, visuals, soundtrack, everything. I've always wanted an FPS with massively destructable environments like skyscrapers and despite a couple bugs this game has delivered as advertised. I feel like this is going to blow up once it gets an actual release

I played in closed beta and lemme tell you it was the most fun I had in a competitive shooter. The nonstop ACTION is highly addictive and the game is just pure fun and adrenaline. :)

i played during the closed beta and it is the best competitive shooter I have EVER played and my friend agrees with me and he's played every COD, this game is a masterpiece

one of the best trailers ever because not only does it make the game looks cool as as fuck, I'm 500 matches in and every single match is exactly fucking like this. It's incredibly accurate to the real play experience. So excited for season 2.

participated and grinded in both betas and the alpha playtest, embark has done an amazing job and even if it's a fraction of the fun I had during the beta it'd still be my favorite video game of all time
I hope they keep refining the movement. It felt GREAT in the alpha but every beta since then has felt really bad movement-wise. So many people noticed that they sent out a survey to try and figure out what changed the feel so much.

I think what makes the finals so good and enjoyable isnt just the destructible environment, but the perfect mix of smoothness, sometimes too smooth can feel wrong, but everything feels perfectly paced in this game in terms of inputs and animations
Something about this game's aesthetic gets me more excited than most titles, this shit is awesome. Thank you devs for being so open about the game.

I hate that I love this commercial so much, the music is spot on, the sound effects are amazing and it really sells the game! I come back to it every couple of weeks to rewatch.

I was in closed beta. It was definitely what it was like. Incredible amount of destruction.
it is exactly what it's like, to many's surprise. the alpha/beta shocked the world! they really delivered!! could use some optimisation though (a lot of it) but it's truly a sight to behold and the first game to ever use live server side destruction

It’s been a month since this trailer is out, I listen / watch it almost daily while waiting for The Finals to release, and it still gives me chills, excitement!
