Quick note... You have no idea how much I/we all appreciate you, your kindness, your talent, all of your hard work and dedication. You are one of a kind and we love you. ❤
Thank you for doing these!! If you haven't already thought of this please think about adding an antique/vintage color combos video! I'd be forever grateful! I struggle with those the most it seems!
Thank you very much for these metal combinations! I have always wondered how they are done. It was very much a “aha” moment for me and I look forward to including more metals in my coloring. Thanks so much. This whole series is incredibly useful!
Karen, I have to add my voice to the chorus! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this color exploration series! I can't wait to add these delicious combos to my journal! ❤
Wouah! Karen you are my Queen Artist for being so talented and created these amazing differenjt Metals Combinations. You have created a fantastic design's with these two last combinations they look so realistic toi me it's kind of miracle dear Karen for the tiny space you've had to color & teaches us how to do these so just brilliant, one of my favorite combinations to EXPOLRED because i'm a huge fans of metal but not to created the perfect colors combo so with this incridible ans so helpfull tutorial i will practice a lots on my Holiday's vacation this is Awresome for me and by the way i would like first of to thank you so much for all of the spectacular tutorials, this series whcih i really enjoyed to watch & praqctice these fantastic combinations of combos + wish you Merry Christmas and big hugs from Canada it's my way to tell you how Gratefukl & Thankfull i am for the hard work you do to please all of your fans sweet Karen and i'll be back for new year to keep my message well not to long 🤣🥰❣❣❣👋👍🧡💖
Thank you for these combinations. Just wanted to note that i usually like watching coloring tutorials while i'm coloring and enjoy the talking rather than background music as i at times feel lonely coloring and kind of like to focus on something other than that. I would certainly have enjoyed more direction and getting to know you . just a thought. thanks again.
I accidentally ran into "how to color leaves," and fell in love with you and your channel. You are amazing! Thx for doing these metals. I really struggle figuring out metals so you have given me an excellent resource. 😊
So good ❤ I'm going to have to practice the rust and patina ones and big thumbs up on the rose gold. So enjoying this series of videos you're a legend 😁 😆
Fantastic video, very helpful, thank you! 🤩 I personally would exchange the combos for brass and bronze, as brass normally looks more gold-like and bronze looks more coppery.
Watching the chiefs game they won yea whilewatching your tutorial and writing down info. I will now rewatch and enjoy. Living in Florida now so don’t get many games. Susie
Thank you again Karen. You should be a teacher, you are wonderful at explaining your ideas. Some of them could be sunsets or stormy skies! Just wonderful 😍💖💖💖
Thanks for sharing your color combinations. I especially like the Patina Brass, and Rusty Steel. I have never seen anything like those two before.😊💖💚💙💜
Thank you once again for these stunning metallics. How long did it take you to learn these or do you just” see” them naturally? Whichever, thank you for so generously sharing your amazing talent🙏🙏
So I would say I now see them naturally. But it took me a while to get there. A lot of years of scribbling combos down until I got the right look. Once colour theory finally clicked for me and how colours interact I started to instinctively know which colours to pick 😁
This is brilliant - I always struggle with metallic combos in my colouring so this video will be so helpful. The only combo I think you missed is the oxidised copper such as you see in old church roofs (when it hasn’t been stolen) …. Maybe an idea for a next instalment of these combo series? 😜 in any case, thank you and happy holidays
Thanks I live all your stuff and watch constantly. Im having trouble reading the names on the tops. I'm just on the second one you did, some kind of gold but I can't see what type. Could you list the names of the combos? Thanks.
Thanks for sharing this video tutorial I've gotten so much from the series of Prismacolor blends. I sure hope I haven't missed any. Looking forward to the Polychromos blending series too. Will you be doing a series using Derwent Inktense?
Hi Nancy, if you go to the beginners playlist they’ll have all of the videos so far listed so you can see nothing is missing 😁 I wasn’t planning an inktense combo series as I don’t usually use them as combos but for basing. It’s something to think about though for sure 🤗
Quick note...
