I’ve got a ‘21 RG Limited that I’ve put over 20k miles on. Absolutely wonderful bike for long trips. A suggestion for Abby’s comfort: Kuryakyn adjustable passenger pegs. I put a set on over a year ago and my wife loves them. Great to have options for foot placement (like highway pegs), especially on the long haul. The only complaint I’d have about them is that, when she’s got her legs outstretched, with the backs of her ankles on them, if we come to a stop she sometimes forgets to pull them back, and they can hinder me putting my foot down a little. Hasn’t been bad enough yet to not get a foot down in time, but it’d definitely get your attention.
We have a 2017 RoadGlide Ultra and I made some modifications too. SE slip-on mufflers, heated grips, GT-S radio, HD adjustable backrest, highway pegs and installed a TourPak relocate kit to push the TourPak back 3”. Really great bike. We’re on our way home from our 2nd Sturgis trip to Southern California. Wife and I love it. Ride safe.
@@keithandabbyadventures4277, We stayed in a rented condo in Lead, SD. Barefoot Lodge. They’re really good. We were thrilled. You gotta make the trip!!
Just bought one just like it yesterday down here at Daytona biketober fest. I traded a 2015 Goldwing for this. So far I love it. Already put about 250 miles on it down here. I also live in NC (Greenville) and I will get all my break in miles by the time I get back home. Nice bike.
I own a 2021 roadglide limited. Picked it up in Nov. 21. At about 8k miles so far. Have to say it is a great all around bike. I added my highway pegs. Vented dipstick, heel shifter, and shorty antenna. Other than that it's stock. I love how smooth and quiet it is. Coming off a 17 ultra stage 2.
Thank you for this review I have been looking for this exact type. I really liked how your wife told how her ride is. This is a video I will share with my wife can't say that about many reviews. Good luck and godspeed.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback. I tried to create a review I would like to watch. I’ll be putting out a video this weekend about the buying experience, might want to hold off on pulling the trigger until you watch it. 😀
@@keithandabbyadventures4277 myself I'm waiting till next July we will have paid a few more things paid off, I'm just doing my research. I'll be sure to watch.
I own a 2022 RG Limited and I agree with your observations. Good review. Think about adding Harley “passenger grab rail” for your passenger. My wife loves em. Maybe you know this already, you can disengage the cruise control by rolling your throttle forward. Keep up the good content. 👍🏻
Hey guys I may rent an ultra limited... .. I currently have a deposit on an icon Electra glide Highway king, it's coming in June/July, had a road king classic years ago and missed it, but at the price point it's at I may be able to get an ultra for just a little more.. I don't intend to do 1,000 mile trips on weekends so I don't know if I would use it as intended but I've always loved the ultra... torn on this one...
2021 RG Limited - great shout out to Robert Simmons' Paying it Forward, his slow speed training videos are the best. For your chrome - don't replace it! Steel wool, the kind you buy at the grocery store will take it right off, finish it off with 000 or 0000 fine steel wool, I melted my lightweight pants leg to my my chrome exhaust, steel wool will NOT scratch the chrome, but will take off the residue you're seeing. If you have water spots on your chrome that won't wash off, use the 000 or 0000 fine steel wool (this came from an HD bike wash video), it will not scratch your chrome.
I really enjoy when I see couples that ride together it’s just seeing more of a family unit trying to get my wife onto my bike looking to do a new cam next month on mine keep the videos coming
@@keithandabbyadventures4277 I was able to use a socket and extension and turn it by hand without a ratchet to raise up the beam and this really helped. The screw location for headlight adjustment is listed in the owner's manual if you can't find it.
Thanks for watching, great question. I have no problem reaching the screen from a normal riding posture. I would call it a deliberate motion to touch the screen; you won’t touch it by accident. The toggle buttons make it really easy to navigate, zoom in/out, etc.
@@keithandabbyadventures4277 Agreed. We can almost do everything with the toggle button. Only in rare situation I need to touch the screen. I have the limited too. But its the batwing version. Keep the rubber side up. Greeting from Malaysia.
Thanks Tommy for the feedback! I’ll be making a video this weekend sharing my shopping experience. I saved about $6k, and 5% on my interest rate- I want to share my story to help others.

Before you replace the heatshield. . .try some 0000 steel wool. It takes a few minutes, but I was able to polish boot rubber right off, good as new

What’s the difference between this and ultra limited? Which is more comfortable and better bike overall ? I am new to Harley

Why jhas nobody mentioned that the vents on either side of the headlights cannot no longer be closed, letting in rain and cold ?

I thought the headlights shined too low from the factory myself. There is an up/down adjustment screw under the fairing I need to give a try.
Great suggestion, I’ll give it a try.

@22:04 with a cool motor, use a nickel(5 cent coin) to remove it. It won’t scratch the chrome.
Hello from Sweden. Great video, great bike. New subscriber👍
For more comfort you can lower the duo floorboards 2 holes down👉🏽🤫.

Those rear pipes are too close to the board. I have done the same thing.
