Enjoyed the review of the Clubsport, Ross. Looks really good. I like the sound of the exhaust too. It has low kilometres for the age of the car and looks well looked after. Good to see girls enjoying these cars too. I’d like to see more enjoying them as well. Great review from Queensland.

Nice clubby love the colour👍white,black & red VY HSV'S lowered gets that "widebody" look, almost every VY HSV in QLD are in the same condition or better with over 300kw at the wheel & in garages/sheds- it's why you don't see many- I know there's heaps still driving the streets of Toowoomba goldy & sunny coast daily
nice to see their still being driven not being garage queens aging away. theyre meant to be driven not hidden

Cool car! As an American I'm fascinated with Aussie cars. I know most of them have counter parts in the states but you guys seem to get the better options. Manual transmissions are almost unheard of in a car like that here. I'd love one in my Lacrosse which I'm pretty sure is a Commadore over there. If it had a stick it would be epic! Great video! Looks like a lot of fun!
The Pontiac G8 (next model up from this) and the 2004-2006 GTO were basically these sent over to the USA and left hand drive.
Australia will have adaptors to convert from auto if its an Australian build, search the "VIN" number, probably adaptors for many common manual gearboxs, doubt it would cost much to ship to the US
The generation of commodore in this video is basically a 4 door version of the Pontiac GTO. Also these were based on the Cadilac Catera but widened and lengthened and obviously with different powertrain choices.
I'm pretty sure you can get 100 out of first gear. I used to rev mine out til it limiter bounced. Loved it

@kandlrex Pretty sure you are talking out of your rear. It was nearly hitting limiter at 75kmh in 1st gear.
Not even close, as said around 75km/h.
My vz would top 80 in first gear. Sounds rough with no limiter hitting 6800 rpm

Both of those cars are awesome! Can I ask what mods were done to inner wheel arches to fit the staggered walky rims? Just asking because I have a VY SS and not even as low as those cars, the tyres scrub. Any info is greatly appreciated!

As an owner of a Fusion CV8Z Monaro I very much like this clean white VY HSV Clubsport and appreciate the passion of the owner for this nice ride. It has good choice in rims, sounds nice with the right amount of burble when backing off, looks sharp, the black and white contrast each other perfectly and the excellent stance so it would be something I would like in my shed but never sell it, you suit each other. With the 6spd manual that is a fairly rare combination and it looks classy. It would make an excellent wedding car being a four door in White. Keep the original rims if you still have them.
Seat and steering wheel are stuffed for such low Kay's, but stunning clubby !!!!!
Minor thing’s considering the age tho.. my F6 wheel is the same sadly

Sounds awesome, buts it's not the Ls1 that makes it sound like that its the exhaust, plenty LS2s and other Ls motors that sound the same it's all in the components like mufflers and cats and the exhaust lines/which way the exhaust is designed, for example the corvette that has the same LS2 the Vz clubby has sounds completely different to the Corvette.
Nice clean vy. We need different content like this every once a while, big ups.

I know where there’s one exactly like that , pretty immaculate condition , was seating on the weather I said to the owner that’s a sacrilege, he put it inside , has been in a Adelaide local trucking company shed for a while now with big 20 inches BBS on it , white HSV VZ exactly the same !

As aye holden fan I owe 3 cars and 1 4x4 ute there really amazing machines and my latest one I brought is 420hp I didn't really expect to have that much power in it until my old man said I must be crazy I'm like I am lol 😅

The Chevy SS was not a loud or flashy looking sports car.
Very much a “sleeper”
But a great car.
Very easy to add spoilers etc to make it look very sporty.
The white car in this video does look excellent
