All good, take your time! this game is very heavy on the amount of knowledge u need to gather.
I'd recommend joining a class discord and just maple discord (maybe a guild discord if u joined a guild).

Would you reccomend to get wings of fate for a hyper burned db that also has the challenger set from item burning? Not sure if I will always need the CD wings or if they get replaced fast

If you're gonna main the character, I would recommend it for sure.
Tof wings give u the ability to somewhat easily reach -5 cd which makes it so that u get blades of destiny for every mob spawn, which in turn makes farming incredibly easy, once u have sol janus lvl 10 and u get 2 orbs, the -5 is not NECESSARY but I would say it is absolutely more CONVENIENT.
tl;dr if you main it, would recommend cause of convenience, if not, not necessary.
and if you do decide to get it, u'll use it for basically ever unless u can spend 2t mesos for a -5s cd hat lol.
