- The new Mahindra Thar has been the most popular car launch of 2020. Demand is hitting the roof, it has scored 4/5 in NCAP crash tests and waiting period is extending to months. Changing front will attract Police fine everytime. Your airbag sensors are also cut off in this change.

That metal bumper is good for offroading but what about pedestrian protection thats why mahindra gives plastic front bumper

Front metal bumper may keep your vehicle safe in small impacts like the ones in city traffic but it will result in a delayed triggering of the air bag mechanism during an serious accident. You have compromised your safety for looks and that is not good. Rest of the modification are cool.

Some of the modifications are harmless and really Cool. But people installing metal bumper can put their life in risk, airbags may not deploy; which may be fine as it’s their own fault. But what about poor bikers and pedestrians who have done nothing wrong. Whenever anyone spots such vehicles on public roads you must REPORT IT TO TRAFFIC POLICE/RTO FB PAGE with clear Pic of number plate. They DO take it very seriously
Front two hook are very dangerous for others. If a bike or person meet in accident, the front hooks can cause serious injuries to them. If it hits the head thier are chances of spot out. Before modifying think about others safety. That's makes u cool rathers than risking others life by adding useless things.

How can you promote something that isn't road legal. The bumpers are supposed to be pedestrian friendly hence plastic. Unless bimbra has an alternative that exactly does that then they are violating traffic laws and people are better off not buying accessories from them.

Can you please elaborate about headlights means what are they bi xenons or a quad set up means 2 projectors on each side ? Make of the projector and bulbs and also the performance at night on open roads specially highways.
Feedback: the color of the front bumper should have been that off side charging or powder coated black/Matt finish, grill spoils the front look of thar being a life style SUV.

This is a better jugaad to an already jugaad vehicle, with so many years to improve this has come like 5-7 years late. Arm rest on top of the wheel well? Can happen only in India
Airbags are not going to open with that metal bumper in front! Risking own safety as well as the pedestrians due to which the metal bumper was not put in the first place.

Front looks nice. Could do without all that chrome. Bash plate is a nice touch, so is the armrest.

Even i thought about the rear arm rests but i have a better design in my mind...further if you see the rear seats middle, it has a bigger/ wide foam strip which i feel should have been on the outer edges...so the rear seat backs can have a sort of extension towards both outer edges which can give some space for the middle passenger if someone chooses to take 3 ppl at the rear....
