Holy smoke , that is a serious write up. Thank you for this. I watched every video of your Europe trip. Best reality TV out there. You guys make absolutely amazing videos. I watch ALOT of biking channels and very few are as captivating and enjoyable as yours. I just skimmed through the write up, but going to definitely read it through. If you guys are ever in Mid Atlantic, would be awesome to do a hike with you two or a bike ride.
@@michaelvikhman7926 aww that’s so kind! ☺️ that would be fun to meet up if we ever head that way!
You two are lucky to have each other, I travel alone because my husband thinks a 15 mile bike ride is a long way...lol ...so I do all my own planning. Love watching your adventures.
Thank you!
Thanks for very useful info. Keep going guys!
Thanks! Glad you found it useful ☺️🙌🏼
Main stream media high-school social studies lead you down one path but your trip has shown the real people.
Friendly ,kind, willing to help and share there time with complete strangers .
I grew up during the cold war and was shown a completely different perspective.
Your trip needs to be aired on PBS to educate and eliminate the main stream media's one sided view
Wow such a nice comment! ❤️The amount of kindness from strangers was truly amazing. We agree that the world would be a better place if media showed the good in the world instead of constant conflict. Thanks for commenting. Made our day ☺️
Thank you its great to see you both again. As much as I would like to I am of an age at which I could never emulate yours or any other long bike journeys. But that didn't stop me enjoying yours. Just in case others have just found you and not viewed your journey if you haven't then your in for a treat from the beginning until the end. Best wishes to you both and I will now check out your web site.
Aww thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed watching the series ☺️
Love you two.
Aww thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Your accommodations were awesome many times, and the food had me salivating, lol. Your angels were with you. Are you going to get new bikes? Please take a mechanics course. A lot of your problems could have been avoided. eg. set screw for gearing, truing a wheel, patching a tire, even a couple of dozen zip ties would have bailed you out with the wrecked cassette. Suggest not riding in the dark. Have fun, be safe. Thank you for all your experiences. Awesome written review from your link!!
Nice way of explanation....kudos to both...u earned a follower 😄
Awesome! Thanks! 🙌🏼
@@PursuingMountains next time pls do visit my country india ..........😁
Nice to see you both again. This tour provided us opportunity to see so many places we could not visit so far, also we now know about the people, traditions, foods etc. of these countries. Its quite helpful - Thanks.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the series ❤️
Awesome thanks again for the one Moore tour . and Best wishes to you both. be care full. and be safe. Goodluck. from Barclona spain .
Thank you!
Thank you Alex and Liz. Really enjoyed all your videos on your Europe trip, so looking forward to you documenting your next adventure. Thanks for all the tips, route info and GPX files. We will be on the EV6 in July-August so will incorporate your experiences into our plans. Thanks again for a great series of videos, what fun it will be for you to look back on them in 20 years.
I hope you enjoy your trip, that sounds really fun!
Hello Alex and Liz, I was immediately addicted to your cycling adventures! You have always been humble and valiant despite dangerous and trying times. I hope that your next bike ride will be more peaceful in any case with fewer breakdowns 😉 Thank you for all this valuable information and tips. Bonne route^^
Thank you! Hoping for fewer breakdowns to in our next adventure 🤞🏼
I really enjoyed watching all the videos in this series. You guys did a awesome job documenting your trip! 👍
Thanks you so much! So glad you enjoyed it ☺️
Thank you Alex and Liz, that was so interesting.
it would also be interesting to know what gear you couldn't do without and what gear you would do away with.
ciao
That’s a great question. Will probably go over that in our packing video
I won’t ever bike this, but so great to watch all the details anyway! I even picked up some tips and apps for my non-bike adventures. 😃 And I don’t think I’ve watched your travel planning vid, Liz, so off to that one next! Hope you’re both enjoying a beautiful spring 🌺
Thanks for watching! Spring has taken some time but I think it might finally be here. Happy trails
Exactly what we want, the nuts and bolts! Thank you...
The detail on your website is fab....
We’re glad you like it!
Great round up thanks for posting .
Thanks so much for sharing your trip. I loved watching your all your videos. Did you try the Ride with GPS app? I love using this app in the US but I wondered how good it is in Europe.
Thank you for watching! I have used ride with GPS once or twice awhile ago, I seem to remember thinking that it was good for navigation but I think the features I really wanted you have to pay for, so I didn’t use it extensively
Awesome! But no chapters I can see
Thanks for pointing that out, we just added it.
Hey!
Ive reached out before about camping places and Im now made it to Belgrad!
For Turkey/Istanbul - were you able to get a Visa upon arrival while crossing the border with your bike or did you get an E-Visa beforehand?
Great question. We made the mistake of not researching this before hand so we ended up having to get our visas as soon as we got to the border, we had to do it with our phones. They wouldn’t let us in 🤣. I completely forgot about this until your comment
Ah I see. I thought that you dont need a visa to get into Turkey but good to know. Will look into that when I reach Sofia. Thanks!
What was your total budget? That’ll help with planning
I know how people can become fiercely loyal to their bikes, but if you think that maybe your bikes didn't hold up well enough, perhaps you might consider bikes with the Gates carbon drive and the Pinion gearbox. I don't represent any companies (I'm retired) but my Priority 600X has been all but flawless (6000 miles over three years.)
We love our bikes, but I would definitely consider adding a Pinion or a Rolhoff to our existing bikes. I think about this all the time it’s just 💰. They’re crazy expensive but it would solve so many problems.
