Canada is Great Country the best place in the world to live!Strick rules and regulations are for our Security and Safety! It's really worthy to travel thousands of miles and finally settle in Canada.
Sounds like an opinion that is not based in fact, or on data. Sounds like you are voicing a feeling. The "Canada is Great" mantra is a little tiring. I would not recommend that anyone move to Canada. I think immigrating to Canada is a mistake.
The fastest way is with an immigration agency. It is not the cheapest way - but you pay for what you get. It seems impossible to me to go through the whole process without them.
You need to be very careful about those. If anyone ever charges you for a job offer, run away quickly. Agencies should have consultants or lawyers who are legally allowed to practice immigration law in Canada.
Yep money makes the world go round. If you want to go to any country just make sure you have lots of money. Money dont discriminate or judge you it gives you access to any place in the world. So iF you want to emigrate from your country, first make sure you not poor...
It's strange, I've lived in Toronto my entire life, and I'm very surprised to hear the rules are so strict. If you've ever been here, one of the first things that stands out is the amount of immigrants that make up our population. Over 6 million people live in the greater Toronto area, and over 50% of them were born outside of Canada. I love my country, but I despise our government. My spouse was only a landed immigrant when I first met him. It took him 9 years to obtain his citizenship. I've been desperately trying to adopt my godson, and immigrate him here from El Salvador (the country my spouse comes from), but immigration Canada is a total nightmare! This boys time is short, as he's 11, and is being lured to join a gang, he's a sweet, innocent little boy that desperately needs to come here, his life is in danger, yet all I face is a mountain of paperwork, thousands of dollars in fees, and stiff ass civil servants who do nothing but give me attitude and a hard time. Land wise, we're the second biggest nation on earth, but we have only 36 million citizens. We desperately need more citizens, yet the government puts up these walls at every turn of the program, and I'm getting so frustrated. My spouse was able to come here in 1987 when the Canadian government opened its doors to people fleeing the war in his country, as it often does for countries in conflict. They just immigrated 25 000 Syrian refugees this year alone, but unless you're fleeing for your life, it's very difficult to come here. We're a culturally and financially wealthy nation, with amazing social services, but, know that everything we do here is regulated by the government, and are taxes are quite high. I suppose I'm biased after being here 47 years, but I really despise our government, and their many unfair policies. They only do what is in their favour, aka, allowing the fish to buy their way in, but someone who's poor, but is in life threatening danger in their home country hasn't a hope in hell. If you do manage to get status here, you'll love it, just be as patient as possible, and above all else, never, ever, lie about anything, as they will automatically ban you from ever entering our country. Good luck in your quest, if you have any questions about living here, send me a message, I'd be happy to help if I can.
Usually about half of all new permanent residents settle in the GTA, which is why the percentage of foreign-born people is so high despite how difficult it is. Sorry to hear about your situation with your godson. Usually child sponsorship is a major priority for IRCC.
Immigroup Inc need help to immigrate to Canada but no consultancy is helping me out neither giving me correct information. i have studies gap of 3 yrs after my FY of BBA due to medical issues. can yu guide me the correct way?
I'm a school counselor with a Masters of Science Degree in Counselor Education. I'd like to retire after this next school year with 28 yrs under my belt , sell my home & retire in Canada with the possibility of working part-time for a small school district. I'd like to live on the outskirts of a town where I could have a small hobby farm-a few chickens, a green house and a goat. I'm so tired of the politics here in the U.S.-I can't take it anymore. What would immigroup suggest?
Hello ! This comment may be 2 years late but please can you contact me on my e-mail if you read this as i have something to ask to you . Thankyou . My email ( inxhilianbeshi@gmail.com )
If you don't have a Canadian passport, or permanent resident, then you don't have the right to work in Canada. I don't know why Americans do this so often, but they just assume they can move to whatever country they want and "work there", but no passport , no work. Maybe mass murder a bit less children with machine guns and the place will already become marginally better.
@@Tuxedo_Cake thier are plenty of Canadians working in Detroit Michigan. Which borders the city of Windsor Ontario Canada. Particularly in the Detroit Medical Center, and Veterans Administration Medical Center Which is part of the Wayne State University Campus. Not far from the downtown Detroit area at the Detroit MI, Windsor On border. All kinds of Canadians working over in downtown Detroit Medical Center VA medical Center Wayne State. But if Americans want to go over to Windsor Ontario to work now it's problem.

Big tight huggs😍😍
Unfortunately, it sounds like you are not a good age to come to Canada; Canada is looking for younger people. But since you're American, you have a distinct advantage that other people do not, i.e. you can enter Canada pretty much whenever you want. There are farming immigration programs, but they province-specific. (Saskatchewan has one, there may be others, I'll have to check.) Otherwise, looking for a work permit would be very tough, given your work experience.
+Immigroup Inc I'm 17 year old A High school graduate from India what are my ways to Immigrate in Canada? I'm artist in some kind as I'm doing modelling and acting in flim
+Manish Jaiswal Hi there, Unless you are going to come here as a student, there aren't many options for someone your age. Canada prioritizes "skilled" immigrants, who have degrees and work experience. Sorry for the bad news.
So Let's say I want to study business in canada for 2 year(diploma) can that immigration be possible? Moreever what are the ways to immigrate through a caregiver?
+Manish Jaiswal You can get a work permit after you graduate a certain program...a 2 year diploma at the right school would be fine. Do you have any experience or education as a live-in caregiver? Because you need one or the other.
+Immigroup Inc I don't have any experience official but I had a subject called home science in my high school and we went to a old age home and conducted a survey about the old age people and we had some modules too to study about in books in my high school
The CIC website initial eligibility test is misleading. You can easily pass that and it makes people believe you can then immigrate, but then you only get to the main pool. Perhaps with a phD, perfect IELTS score, long working experience and family relatives in Canada you can achieve the bare minimums, but a dish washer with a secondary education and a job offer will still have twice as many points as the phD guy and be guaranteed entry...
+phili878 It's a good point; it's just a basic eligibility test and many people mistake it for something more. I don't think there are too many people getting job offers as dishwashers...
SPACE CAT, it sounds like you are a Canadian, can you please email me if possible i have a lot more questions and its a matter of time before i flee my country to Canada........"Ndukhanyile8@gmail.com".
to which program i am okay and hope to have an access to Canada as i am on the way TO APPLY?,IF I AM FROM A REFUGEE OF OTHER COUNTRY AND HAVING DIPLOMA WITH WORK EXP.DOES IT NEEDS ME FINANCIAL IN THE STEP THROUGH TO PROCEED THE APPLICATION OR IN CASE ANY PROCESS?
Hello. Thank you for this video. I immigrated to Canada from Western Europe. I have done well here financially and career wise: I am above average intelligence and I have learned the language perfectly, and I have become an airline captain, and a Canadian citizen, and I own 3 properties (one that I live in, and 2 rental properties). This is moderate success, I understand that I am not a billionaire, but overall I very much regret immigrating to Canada. As an immigrant, Canadians will not accept you into their circle of friends, no matter how friendly they are on the surface. All my friends here in Canada are other immigrants. I have tried to become friends with Canadians, but their friendships are extremely shallow and loosely defined. As an immigrant in Canada, you will end up feeling lonely. For men: women here will make jokes about divorce lawyers on the first date, and they will constantly talk - with pride - about how many men they have slept with. Women will regularly accept your paying for their dinners and for their drinks, and will then literally ignore you when you send them a message the next day; they are the rudest women I have encountered anywhere in the world, and as a pilot I have seen a lot of the world, and I have dated women from (and in) many countries. I know this sounds unbelievable, but I promise you it is not an exaggeration, I have seriously considered wearing a body cam during dates to prove that this is one hundred percent correct, however it would not be socially acceptable to post those videos online in today's political climate, especially in North America, where caucasian men are blamed for all of society's problems. The vast majority of Canadians live with mountains of debt and no savings what so ever, they are extremely poor, but you don't see it because they buy numerous toys on credit, resulting in a complete inability to ever retire. More than 60% of Canadians have taken an antidepressant at some point in their lives, so when you see them smiling all the time, it just means their happiness is chemically induced, same thing as snorting cocaine and being happy. It is also very difficult to get something done the right way in Canada. For the most part, when a Canadian does something, it will be done poorly, and this applies to everything here: quality of houses, plumbing, painting, car maintenance, quality of paperwork, aircraft maintenance, political decisio making, their own non-existant language abilities in English, anything what so ever, and everything takes an immense amount of time to get done. A Canadian's work slogan should be: "In Canada, half assed is good enough!" As an intelligent and successful immigrant to Canada, I advise strongly against immigrating to Canada. Your own country is better, trust me. My own country was better too, not perfect, but better for many reasons. Please understand that the reason why Canada is always among the "top players", in terms of standard of living, in those magazine-"statistics" - and I put that word in quotes on purpose - is only because Canada systematically skews the stats in its favor. It needs economic immigrants, otherwise the economy would implode, and the magazines (MacLean's, Canadian Business etc) that produce or quote the standard-of-living statistics are extremely biased in favor of native-English speaking countries. In Canada, health care is truly horrendeous, the women are the lowest quality women in the world, the divorce rate is out of control, children are not safe in schools due to random shootings, the weather is absolutely horrific, taxes are high (but you don't get much back for it, as opposed to in Europe), and the average Canadian makes 44,000 Canadian Dollars per year, but has 20,000 Canadian Dollars in consumer debt (does not include mortgages, only credit card debt, car loans and lines of credit), and the Canadian Dollar is a shit-coin compared to the USD and the Euro. I hope this comment finds at least a few people who are considering immigrating to Canada. I have lived here for 13 years, in 3 different provinces, and trust me, you are making a mistake. I am getting out of here soon. My neighbours are immigrants too, and they also desperately want to get out, but they are stuck financially at this moment because in Canada, you can not make much money, unless you have a high end profession. For me, the shithole of Canada will just be the place where my rental properties are, and those can be my cash cow to support my lifestyle overseas, but once I leave here, I will only come back here for short visits, but I would never live here again. Like I said, pretty much all my friends are also immigrants, and they feel the same way, and this is not because I tend to surround myself with people who are "also negative", as you might think. Another thing is, Canadians themselves, at work, my copilots and flight attendants, also often complain about the exact same things that I complain about, so it's not like Canadians don't know that there is a problem. Canada has massive problems, problems that are unsolvable, and the only way to keep the house of cards going - because Canadians reproduced below their own replacement rate - is with maximum immigration. If you, as an immigrant, achieve anything in Canada, it will not be thanks to Canadians. It will not be because "Canadians welcomed you and gave you chances." Everything you achieve will be despite Canadians. You will have to fight, day in and day out, to accomplish anything, while they try to hold you back. This saturates the entire culture, especially if English is not your native tongue. Canadians themselves are so uneducated they cannot even spell the only language they speak, but if English is not your first language, you will be given a hard time by them, every day, all day, all week, all year, every year. The worst part is that, once you get here, you will get stuck. Canadians will tell themselves "Look, immigrants stay here because they like it!", but the reality will be that you will want to get away from Canada as fast as you can, but you will not make much money while here, and you will not be able to afford to leave. Do not be fooled. Do not come to Canada. Do not say I did not warn you.
I'm sorry you feel that way. As someone who was born here, I certainly cannot tell you you're wrong but given how many people stay here once they immigrate, I must assume that your experience is not typical. (On the other hand, some of the immigrants I know have expressed similar feelings to you, albeit for other reasons.) Where did you get that anti-depressant stat?
I'm not telling you your experience isn't typical, I said "I must assume." Again, the reason I said that is because the data says otherwise. open.canada.ca/data/dataset/ad975a26-df23-456a-8ada-756191a23695 for where PRs come from and www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/11f0019m/2011338/part-partie1-eng.htm#h2_5 for citizenship rates. I'm not trying to minimize your experience, but I still don't necessarily believe it's typical. And pardon me but I cannot accept your version of your doctor's word that 2/3rd of this country have used anti-depressants in their lives. Now, it seems that you have it right that usage is particularly high here www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/11/22/antidepressant-use-world-canada_n_4320429.html but "60%" and "89 doses per 1,000 people" are very, very different things. (The reason for this high rate could be some of the things you cite, but it could also be partially explained by doctors over-prescribing them, which has happened and continues to happens with lots of different drugs in different places and times.) I agree with you about the "Canada is Great" stuff. I do happen to think it's pretty good, but I don't spend my time telling people that very often; I like to think the fact that I still live here accounts for that. And unfortunately "Canadian values" is going through a bit of a crazy period right now, where some people have decided Canada's values should be what they were 100 or more years ago, which is silly. Anyway I'm sorry you've had this experience. And we appreciate you sharing it here.
That assumes a lot that is not in that article. (Different people need to be on these medicines at different times and it basically assumes no overlap.) I still don't find it believable at all. But you're going to believe what you're going to believe and I'm going to believe what I'm going to believe. Regardless, we can agree that they're over-prescribed. I'm not sure what that says about Canada as a whole. I tend not to base my feelings about a place on drug prescription rates. (If I did, I'd never ever go to Vermont ever again.)
You said "more 60%" of Canadians have taken anti-depressants in their lives. You have provided zero evidence to back this up. You can ask me to imagine as many mountains of pills as you want; that's not convincing. Typing in caps isn't convincing either. How am I supposed to respond to all of this? Your latest comment is 400 words long but covers prescriptions, education, the electricity grid, the law, unwed/divorced mothers and school shootings among other things. A proper response to all the things you said would involve me writing who knows how much to either confirm or refute all the causal claims you make. I'll be here all day. I get that you are unhappy with your experience in Canada. I don't know what you expect anyone here to do about it. I just want to point out that I don't think you're being fair, especially if you're going to rant like this every single time you post.
I am 18 and from Scotland. I understand that there is a fondness for Scottish culture in Canada, so I would like to teach people about Scottish music, culture, history, etc. I am an experienced drummer (pipe band) and have performed in big events (including the Edinburgh Tattoo). I have also spoken at Burns suppers for the WRI and my pipe band. Is this recognised as artist or should I apply another way?
+Adam Hill You might fit the "cultural activities" experience qualification for self-employed immigrants: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/self-employed/apply-who.asp#definitions
+Adam Hill If that isn't working for you there's also the "working holiday." That doesn't let you come permanently (at least at first) but if you are young enough it's probably the easiest way of getting here for someone from Scotland.
Canada must be dropping its standards these days. We just brought in 35k Syrians and I doubt if many of them would qualify for any of these programmes. The government also plans to bring in 305 new immigrants each year and how can that huge number qualify for these programmes!!
It might be considered a trade. Can you find your 4 digit NOC code here www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/find-national-occupation-code.html ?
Can a 45 year old Indian having more than 20 years in experience in various Indian Government departments, especially in Finance and Income Tax have chance to ether work or immigrate to canada?
Hello, let me first start off by saying thanks for the informative video. So here is my situation, I am 18 and live the US I am planning on getting certification in the IT field and maybe work for some years here in the US before going to Canada. I would like to know if I am I alright with the certifications and experience I am planning to get or would I require a Degree (or any higher education.) in order to get a work permit and travel to Canada with ease.
+Ulysses Mayoral What would the "certificate" be? How long would you study? That's the crux, really. It's about whether or not the Canadian authorities can match your certification to an equivalent one in Canada. But education credentials from the US are (mostly) going to be given greater weight than credentials from many other countries. If you get your certification (and it qualifies as a diploma) and you work in a "skilled" job in your field for at least a year, you will likely qualify to come to Canada as a Permanent Resident, rather than a temporary one (which is the work permit route).
+mark72141 Not only is it not easy to be a refugee - how is it easy to be a refugee??? - but this past year, Canada allowed in far more refugees than we normally do. This is a one time thing, much like when Canada welcomed 60,000 Vietnamese refugees in the 1970s. Normally, the percentage of new permanent residents made up by refugees is rather miniscule. For example, from 2002 to 2012, Canada admitted between 21,000 and 36,000 refugees per year, or about 10% of new permanent residents: www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2013/2013-06-21.asp
Thank you for this video, if I enter Canada and finally get a job offer, then how long will it take to get the work permit? maybe the wait is so long that employers prefer to hire someone available sooner right ?
The processing time for work permits is currently 42 days for online submissions and 106 days for paper applications. But that doesn't include the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), which will take a long time.
A visa is a travel document, allowing you to come to Canada. A permit is a document which allows you to work or study in Canada. These are the various types of statuses in Canada: Temporary residence: Temporary resident (visitor) Temporary worker International student Protected Person Permanent Resident Citizen
Fuck off! no more migrants in canada to leech off the tax payers and live on welfare. think I am wrong check our own canada statistics. 60-90% based on regiob
+Immigroup Inc I've been a rout sales manager for 5 years in beverage. I'm 25 with a family and work on computers on the side. I need help. Trump is going to try to kill us all
such great info in this video though I have question, I'm applying to the FSWP through express entry , am I qualified to be chosen from the pool as I have a NOC code 2133 A Electrical Engineer with a Masters degree and 4 years of work experience ? Also beside the fees, what other expenses will face me there in case I'm confirmed ?
Ahmed abdulSalam Thanks for the feedback. Beyond government fees, you have to prove you have enough in your banks accounts to support yourself here (but you don't have to pay that money, just produce statements). If you are applying on your own, there are no additional legal fees. There will obviously be travel fees. And then, once you're here, you will need to find a place to live, and usually a landlord will want first and last month's rent.
+Domingo Salatamos It's not really about cost. It's about how you qualify (if you qualify). (Unless you are rich.) Most people come to Canada as workers or students.
I came to canada when i was 14 under NAFTA sponsored by my dad he is U.S citizen . He has a business for 10 years in Canada and i am accompanying him in that business we applied under CEC and Provincial nominee it took forever and now i am 25 and stuck here on implied status.
Toronto is a lonely place! There is a youtuber and the name of his channer is vegetarian police and he is a born and brought up here and after living in Toronto for 35 or more years he leaves for Thailand because he is lonely and unhappy here as well as because of the cold weather. The title of the video is "All The Pros and Cons of Living In Toronto Canada After 35 Years". People that move here, especially the ones that were well off back home are not honest about their life with their relatives back home, especially the ones that were in good position back home, and are doing jobs unrelated to their field of study and work and just struggling. So people don't quite get an honest picture of what life is really like in Canada. I think if you have a paid off house back home then don't move to Canada. If you have a decent comfortable life back home then why move to Canada to come and struggle be lonely and sad. There is no telling when life ends, so if you are unhappy in Toronto then don't wait too long and go back or to where you will be happier.
Sorry you feel that way. I know that Toronto often feels big and lonely to Canadians who have come from other parts of the country as well. It used to have that reputation anyway. As someone born here, I've loved it since I lived somewhere else (smaller) and learned that I didn't actually want to live in a smaller place. I'm surprised when others tell me they don't like, but I'm also very, very used to it.
Chefs are considered skilled workers but there have been a number of issues with the work permit program and the food industry. Were you thinking of coming here temporarily or permanently?
My family owned a house in Canada, I believe until the 1970's. We were classified as "landed immigrants". I am not certain if I qualify as having Canadian citizenship. I was born in the States. The house that we owned in Canada (Ontario) was only our summer residence. The rest of the year we lived in the States. I would now like to emigrate to Canada, to live there permanently, buy a house, etc, but I am not sure if my prior status as part of a family of landed immigrants gives me automatic citizenship. A Canadian friend of mine recently told me that, once you are a Canadian citizen, you would actually have to apply to renounce your citizenship, if you wished to give it up. So- wondering- does the fact that I was once a landed immigrant give me automatic Canadian citizenship, for when I move there, or would I have to re- apply?
Hi, Unfortunately, if you were only ever landed immigrants, you were never citizens and are not considered citizens now. Basically, if you never swore an Oath to the queen, it's very unlikely you're Canadian. Sorry for the bad news.
+Immigroup Inc Thanks for the info. Darn, I would really like to move to Canada. I hope to be visiting again soon. I don't recall ever swearing an oath to the Queen. Maybe I will just marry a Canadian cutie! You have the most beautiful and friendly women!
So.....a person who's between the age of 18-30 from the countries you've mentioned can just travel to Canada through the IEC program, stay there for some months and after that he can obtain the permanent card and sponsor his family members, or he's obligated to leave the country after the program ends?
+BLVD Hi there, First, you have to apply for IEC. If you're approved, then you can come to Canada and work and travel. If you want to stay, you'll have to apply for an additional work permit or study permit. IEC *does not* count towards permanent residence.
Hi! I am almost done with my psychology degree and I currently work as an early childhood teacher. How can I migrate? I am not elegible for any of these options but I wonder if there is any other way to migrate. Thanks!
You need proof of your employment on letterhead from the university, stating how long you will be employed. You can apply online ahead of time: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/work.asp
+Manish Narwani Hi there,When we wrote the article that this video is based on, Express Entry did not yet exist. However none of the options listed in the video fall under Express Entry, as Express Entry is geared towards skilled workers immigrating permanently. If you have the education and work experience and can get your education recognized ("equivalated"), and you can score enough points, then you immigrate here quickly.
Hi, I am a iOS application developer with over 3 years experience; I currently have over 7 apps in the AppStore, how easy is it to obtain the work permit? Does Canada have a lot of Mobile Developers?
Jason Solomon You're probably best off trying to find a job with a mobile developer then. If your development work is only part time, you will not qualify as a "skilled worker."
Hello, I completed my four years bachelors in English Language and Literature. I also did a three years MA in TESOL. At present I am doing my PhD in TESOL. In between I taught English at a private university for 7 years. I was planning to immigrate to Canada and thus I came back to my country and noticed that my university shut down last month ( from where I completed my bachelors 10 years ago) I have each and every necessary papers and certificates with me, but I am worried about ECA regarding my bachelor degree as the office is shut down now. I did my masters from another university. I also appeared for IELTS GT and the result meets the requirements for CLB 9. How can I overcome this anomaly? Seeking suggestions 😔
My situation is complicated. I've got a Highschool Degree from the USA and a College Degree for Digital Media from the USA as well, but i live in South Africa. I'm looking to move and work in Canada. I'm a digital designer as well as a Photographer and Video Editor. I've got 2 months of work experience in my field. I've also got friends that have offered me a room should i be allowed to move there.
thanks for this video. well I have some questions. why should I immigrate if I am rich in my home country? why should I immigrate if I highly skilled, I can work from my home country? usually artists are rich, why should an artist immigrate? people wants immigrate to earn not to spend money.
It's my dream to be a canadian citizen. Maybe someday. I'll do cross country if ever I work in Taiwan or malaysia. I really love Canada.. Love from Philippines :)
Thanks a lot for keeping things much easier & simpler to thoroughly understand. but, I would really appreciate if you can give me little bit Idea about caregiver program. thank you once again. !
i found your video informative ... i want to ask you that i am from pakistan and i have done my high school in dubai and after that due to financial circumstances i couldn't complete my higher studies ... i am 36 now ... if i want to study in canada now through some diplomas courses ... iealts wont be a problem ... so can i get the study permit easily ... and my spouse and children can come with me? should i give it a try ???
I'm planning on studying an graduate program in Canadá through a scholarship of my hometown programs and also a scholarship of the University I'm gonna apply.
friend sounds interesting his idea I also want to travel to Canada Obvious that cannabis is something attractive. please if you get it give me your Gmail as soon as possible I am Latin American strong of heart and with good ideas, in the head that you may need and I can help you. :);)..
How should I go about the work permit process? I've looked into it before, and it seems I need a job offer to be able to even apply for the work permit? As well as a long handling time before I even get said permit. A couple years ago I had a job offer emailed to me from Securitas, a company we have here in the USA as well as in Canada, stating I could be employed if I passed the classes and such. I didn't have a work permit though. Just a passport. I still work for Securitas. What could I do? I'm hoping to marry my boyfriend next year, who lives in BC, so I'm saving up money for it. Any info I could know of would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Yes, you are correct: in most cases you need a job offer and a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before you apply for a work permit (the latter can take months). If they have offices in both countries, you can ask for a transfer and then get a work permit via NAFTA.
Well, I looked into the transfer thing before, and unfortunately they can't do that due to their system being different in Canada, or some such. Is there anything else I can look into?
thanks for responding with me and if you please i,ve got one last question which is : if i worked after my graduation for one year minimum how to begin with my immigration procedures i mean is there any office or mail to lead me and if you could show me some references ...... thanks for the help again
Do you know if a holder of a Working Holiday Visa (IEC) is obliged to be employed in certain categories of work? Are there any restrictions on the duration of employment at one employer? Many Thanks!
Hi, Well, there are three types of IEC visas. There may be restrictions on the Young Professionals and there definitely is a restriction on the Co-Op (intern) visa, but I think the Working Holiday one is generally open. The duration restriction would be you cannot work longer than the visa is valid for, to the best of my knowledge. Hope this helps.
Hello, I have read a lot about the citizenship program to Canada, but till now still confused. can you guys help me in picking the suitable application form for my situation. lot of thanks!!!
+Moetassem Radwan Sure, but we will need to know something about your situation (i.e. are you eligible?). If you don't want to discuss it privately, you can always pm me through TH-cam or send an email to webmaster at immigroup dot com.
Immigroup Inc I prefer to discuss my situation privately. Can u please provide me the mail adress. Again lot of thanks for your reply. Really appreciated.
I am in my middle 20's from Mexico with a bachelors degree but I don't have training in any skilled trades. What if I want to go and study/practice a skilled trade in one of Canada's schools first in order to apply for a job later on? Is that a realistic scenario?
If you want to study here, you have to apply to the appropriate college. Once you are accepted, you can apply for a study permit. It's a long way to permanent residence. What's your degree in? And what kind of work experience do you have?
I have a biotechnology degree. My only work experience is in the chemical industry with a desk job and I hate it. This may be weird but the skilled trades peeked my interest as Canada seem to emphasize their importance and I've read a lot of positive comments on choosing one as a career option. I wouldn't mind a hands-on job, actually that would be fulfilling for me. As the experts here, do you think that aiming for a skilled trade is a good plan?
To my knowledge, Canada definitely needs more tradespeople. It's not something a lot of people born here want to do. How long it takes you to get educated and accredited would depend entirely on the trade. But if you're educated here (in the trade) then you won't have the credential recognition problems you could potentially have with an education from elsewhere (such as Mexico).
Immigroup Inc Thanks for the feedback. I understand the trades might not be a popular option mainly because of the social stigma they carry (that trades are for less educated people) and that's actually what makes me doubt about taking the big step. I'll take in consideration your comments.
If I'm already moving to New Brunswick to study a one year certificate, what should I do or know to apply for a citizenship/longer permit to stay in Canada? Thanks
Once you graduate, you can apply for an open work permit (provided the program you are taking qualifies for this). Then, you need to get a "skilled" job. Once you have worked in a skilled occupation for a year, you can then apply for permanent residence. Once you have been a permanent residence for 4 years, you can apply for citizenship.
Hector Cairo Provided your employer has already got the LMIA, or your occupation is LMIA-exempt, you should be able apply for a "Change of status" without leaving the country. However, if your occupation isn't LMIA, and your employer hasn't yet applied for the LMIA, you will have to leave the country when your visa's validity expires if it expires before you are able to apply for the work permit.
+Learn To Your parents either need to get job offers (unless they are "skilled workers") or they need to wait until you are a PR, and then you can sponsor them.
+Immigroup Inc Hey, I am a Nigerian with a First Degree in Mass Communication and a Masters Degree in English Language and Communication, I have a one year experience as a print Journalist with a local newspaper, I am 30 years old with a wife and a daughter, I want to migrate to Canada with my Family, How do I start the application process and what is my chance of succeeding with the application? Thank you. :)
+Abubakar Idris Dadiyata You may qualify as a "skilled worker." You should look into what is known as "Express Entry," which is the process of immigrating as a skilled worker. www.immigroup.com/express-entry
+Mintot albios Unless your parents are going to immigrate here and bring you along, you have one option: get accepted into a Canadian (private) high school and get a study permit.
If you have work experience and credentials you can get recognized in Canada, you may not need a job offer to immigrate. www.immigroup.com/express-entry
Hi Immigroup Inc, I'm American and live in NYC, could you please tell me briefly what do you think would be my chances to move to Canada? Thanks, I appreciate it :-)
Im nowhere near rich, and i had to drop out from highschool for family & money issues. From Mexico, 24, single, and do have experience in arts and i speak english decently. What would be the best and fastest way to move to canada permanently to work or study there? and is it likely for me to do so?
I am a 23 year man from Baja Mexico and i would like to know how i can immigrate to Canada to study or/and to work. Anyone viewing this that has any info would be appreciated.
If you want to study, you'll have to apply to a school first, before getting a study permit. For work, you'll need a job offer from a Canadian employer.
Thank you for asnwering I am going to serch through the links on the video for the study section. Also if its not already there too, what is the deal with the Artist Immigration? Thanks again
So then what you need to do is see if you can get those "equivalated" for Canada, www.immigroup.com/news/educational-credential-assessment-eca-express-entry and then try to immigrate through Express Entry via "Skilled Trades"
Hi. I'm currently in college for a bachelor in Tourism and I want to start my life in Canada as soon as possible after I graduate (I'll be 21 then). What would be the best path to Candian citizenship? I don't know if this has any importance but I'm a Belgian citizen.
Matthew V For you, the best path is probably to come here on a working holiday visa, which is basically an open work permit available to certain people, such as Belgian citizens. Learn more here: www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/iec/index.asp?country=be&cat=wh Here's the catch: in order to become a permanent resident, you need to find a job that qualifies you for this immigration stream: www.immigroup.com/canadian-experience-class Because the permit is "open" you can come here and then look for the job. Hope this helps.
excellent video, i absolutely loved it. as a recently graduated Agricultural Engineer from Hungary, what are my possibilities of getting a job in the forestry industry? i would greatly appreciate your help.
You should figure out which province(s) you want to move to and contact the professional association of engineers for that province(s) and ask them about the job market. Alternatively, if you work for a year in your field and then immigrate, you could probably come here without a job offer: www.immigroup.com/express-entry
Thanks for that informational video, but I still got some question. I'm a 16 years old German and I still have two more years of school. It is my biggest dream to become a police officer and to immigrate in Canada. So I was wondering if there is any way to join the police academy in the same time I will just to live there? And if there is a possibility, could I get help from you and your company? Greetings Kai :)
Finish High school then get a college degree in law enforcement then you can practically be guaranteed to be accepted PS: Most Canadians are friendly toward Germans
No, most jobs with the police are not available to temporary residents. You must be a permanent resident or citizen. So you'll have to come here for other work first, or continue to study in Germany (and work) until you are a "skilled worker" or come here to study.
Well, to become a permanent resident through study it's usually the length of your program + year year minimum in a skilled occupation before you can apply. Application will take at least 6 months too.
what a hard way to go to canada really - u make it hard seems canada is a paradise as im an afghan guy from afghanistan my dream was to live in canada since i was 10 years kid but after i watch this video im not going to take this Adventure anymore but i still love canada and canadian lovely and friendly people I wish the State of Canada more development and prosperity--- FazeL From AFGHANISTAN
Hi there! I really want to live in Canada! But I am just a tyipcal citizen in Hungary. I don't have a special skill, I only have a high school diploma. But I would truly like to move over there! I want to work and become a Canadian citizen! I speak English and I am currently learning French, too! I really like French, by the way. I really like Canadian culture and I would give all myself to be Canadian! What could you offer me to do? What should I be skilled for? Thank you for the answer in advance!
hello, I have scored a very good score in TOEFL and I have a one year experience, the problem is it is in two different feilds (1 a teacher, 2 an engineer) I have graduated with an engineering bs.c statistically speaking, what are the chances of me goog there through express entry? also is the conversion of a student residency to having work permit is as easy as it was? I heard it's harder since the conservative government took office last turn
+Sabir Bahari Usually they want work experience in your profession, so if you don't have a full year as an engineer you might want to work for the full year first. But there's no harm in completing your profile and seeing if you get an Invitation to Apply. As for the study permit to work permit: you usually have to graduate in order to get the open work permit. If you have a job offer, that could be a different story.
ALSO IF A PERSON TO APPLY MAY HAVE NO PASS PORT ,BUT OTHER REQUIREMENTS WHAT IT WILL BE IN CASE AN APPLICANT CAN NOT GET HIS PASSPORT AS HE OR SHE IS A REFUGEE,BUT ONLY REFUGEE ID CARD?
Maybe you can reply, here's my case. I'm salvadorean 22 years old about to become a bachelor in graphic design. As you can see I'm bilingual so I don't have comunication issues often and that's it... Recently I texted with a japanese game designer who's locating his studio in canada and I asked him for job and what he said is that sure but he'll put me in probation to see if I have what it takes. Where is my chance to move?
+Dai Nobu Well, provided the job offer is genuine, and he is actually opening this company, you may be able to get a work permit. I am not 100% sure whether or not a graphic designer for a video game company would need a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), which is basically permission from the government for the company to hire you.If the studio doesn't exist yet, this is far less of a sure thing than if it does. But even if it does, he may have to demonstrate that you're uniquely qualified in a way a Canadian is not.
This is my real account - Ignore the other comment Hello, i'm 18 years old and I've been thinking about immigrating to Canada for a while now, I finished high school in Israel but was born in Ukraine. My dream is to be a medical doctor but I can't afford the expensive university fees and neither can my mother. I was thinking about immigrating and supporting myself with a part time job there, but I don't know if its even possible to accomplish. What would you suggest to someone like me to do? Should I try to get educated in israel first and then move?
First of all you need a bachelor degree before applying into medicibe. International students are allowed to work in canada. The right think to do is to think about a bachelor degree first.
As an American trying to move to Nova Scotia to live with my girlfriend, I wonder if I should apply for a temp work permit.. she mentioned to me she has connections to help me get a job so it wouldn't be too difficult to obtain an offer, but I have no idea where to start
Mike c Hi Mike, This depends on a number of things. If you two have no interest in getting married then she cannot sponsor you, so I won't go into detail about that, unless you are interested. For Nova Scotia, there is a Provincial Nominee Program (how a province tells the federal government they want immigrants) which you can look into: www.immigroup.com/nova-scotia-immigration-provincial-nominee-program-pnp Otherwise, you have to apply for a work permit which usually means you need a job offer from a Canadian employer, supported by what is known as an LMIA. Hope this helps.
Mike c In that case you have two options: she can sponsor you "inland" (i.e. you come to visit her and then you marry in NS or elsewhere in Canada and then you apply to be sponsored) or she can sponsor you "outland" (i.e. she comes to you, you marry, and then she returns to NS by herself and you wait in the US to get approved).
莫志刚 Well that's a wild generalization. Some parts of Canada have better employment rates than parts of the US, and some don't; it also depends on the industry and region. As to salaries, certainly they are often better if you make a lot of money, but Canadian minimum wages are way higher than American, almost across the board. Costs of living depend on regions as well. Toronto and Vancouver are extraordinarly expensive, as are San Francisco and New York, for example. And in terms of the weather, you are talking about two of the biggest countries in the world, so the weather varies to put it mildly.
If you can prove that you can live on being a DJ/producer, you could try the self-employed option: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/self-employed/apply-who.asp
+Immigroup Inc. My eldest brother is running a small business in Ottawa. U think he could possible for him to help me to get there? My late father was there in 20 years ago. What he did was that he forgot to put my name onto an application form and at that times I was only 12 years old.
+Li Wong Well if you weren't included on the application form, that is going to be a huge problem. Your brother cannot sponsor you in Ontario. If he had a business in another province (there are three which allow family sponsorship in business) you might be in better shape, but you'd have to resolve the issue of being left off the application.

I am an African and very fluent in French and English wit over 7 years experience in HR..though I plan to further my education, what other options are available for me?..Thank you for your response.
Gozzy Hamz Unfortunately, unless you are in a management position, you have to either get a job offer from a Canadian employer or you will have to come here for school.
Can you help me? I was learning about the Morden program. Do you know someting about it? And, whats the best province to immigrate as welder? My email is saladocha@outlook.com. Thanks by the attention!
General Well, provided you can meet the requirements listed here www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who-nopermit.asp presumably you would just need a visitor visa, if it's required for your nationality.
hi thx for the information i would like to ask you about trades programe as an electricien i get two years experience my eng good...is ther any chance to apply
There are both federal and provincial programs to invest to become a permanent resident. They're all pretty expensive. Here is the federal: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/investors/index.asp Provincial programs are less expensive. Once you are a permanent resident, you have to qualify for citizenship the same way as anyone else: living here for at least 4 years.
Thanks ! Just checked on the link and found that some plans are being terminated because of backlog ! Is this normal? Do plans re-open after they have been terminated? How long does it usually take? Secondly, could you also offer the provincial programs links (couldnt locate it)
That happened a while ago. It happened because there was a ton of backlog and the program was put on hold. It has been reopened and there are not many applicants so I doubt it will happen any time soon, but it might. I don't believe there was much warning last time... Hi Immagroup, I am 30, turning 31 on 5th Feb. Really hoping to get in on the IEC. Is it possible - from Australia?. Not knowing when they open for 2016. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction. If I manage to apply while 30 but the application doesn't complete until after I turn 31, am I still eligible? I am a heli pilot looking to work in Vancouver, or anywhere else I can get a flying job.
+Tane Henry Ideally I would love to get the IEC visa, sit on it until late next year (I think it has a 12months validity) and look for work late next year. Alternatively I have an electrician license? Can I get a job offer in one field and after a certain period, switch to a flying job?
+Tane Henry Hi, In all likelihood, it will re-open around the same time it did last year, i.e. early March. (But you should make a calendar reminder to regularly check www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/iec/index.asp?country=au&cat=wh to see if you can get any solid dates going forward). The date you submit your application to CIC is the date that matters. Provided you submit a complete application (with the correct supporting documents) and you get it in before the quota closes, I think you should be okay if you are turning 31 later.
+Tane Henry It's an "open" work permit, which means you can work different jobs. So, if you can get your electrician and helicopter licenses both recognized in Canada, you can, in theory, work as both.
I am an American who lives and operates a small business in Brazil. I have visited Canada many times. I would like to explore options in Canada. How do I go about this? How much does one need to invest in making a small business in Canada?
It depends upon where you want to live, Canada has a federal program for investors/entrepreneurs and provincial and territorial programs. Investment and net worth requirements vary by program.

xXxrootxXx 👍
Sounds like an opinion that is not based in fact, or on data. Sounds like you are voicing a feeling. The "Canada is Great" mantra is a little tiring. I would not recommend that anyone move to Canada. I think immigrating to Canada is a mistake.
Am a teacher from Ghana, can I get job offer in Canada?
The fastest way is with an immigration agency. It is not the cheapest way - but you pay for what you get. It seems impossible to me to go through the whole process without them.
You need to be very careful about those. If anyone ever charges you for a job offer, run away quickly. Agencies should have consultants or lawyers who are legally allowed to practice immigration law in Canada.
@@immigroup you are an immigration agency, using your youtube channel surreptiously to promote your business.
Yep money makes the world go round. If you want to go to any country just make sure you have lots of money. Money dont discriminate or judge you it gives you access to any place in the world. So iF you want to emigrate from your country, first make sure you not poor...
It's easier in some countries than others.

Why is it so difficult to immigrate?!
+Turd Ferguson
Well, the official reason is because Canada wants its immigrants to have certain types of skills that benefit Canada.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you are not a good age to come to Canada; Canada is looking for younger people.
But since you're American, you have a distinct advantage that other people do not, i.e. you can enter Canada pretty much whenever you want.
There are farming immigration programs, but they province-specific. (Saskatchewan has one, there may be others, I'll have to check.)
Otherwise, looking for a work permit would be very tough, given your work experience.
+Immigroup Inc I'm 17 year old A High school graduate from India what are my ways to Immigrate in Canada?
I'm artist in some kind as I'm doing modelling and acting in flim
+Manish Jaiswal
Hi there,
Unless you are going to come here as a student, there aren't many options for someone your age. Canada prioritizes "skilled" immigrants, who have degrees and work experience. Sorry for the bad news.
So Let's say I want to study business in canada for 2 year(diploma) can that immigration be possible? Moreever what are the ways to immigrate through a caregiver?
+Manish Jaiswal
You can get a work permit after you graduate a certain program...a 2 year diploma at the right school would be fine.
+phili878
It's a good point; it's just a basic eligibility test and many people mistake it for something more.
I don't think there are too many people getting job offers as dishwashers...
Just come to Canada as a refugee, you don't need skills or a job offer.
Another way is join the military as a foreign legion.
Canada doesn't have a foreign legion.
to join the legion you must go to France and of course pass a few exams.

A Canadian's work slogan should be: "In Canada, half assed is good enough!"
As an intelligent and successful immigrant to Canada, I advise strongly against immigrating to Canada.
(On the other hand, some of the immigrants I know have expressed similar feelings to you, albeit for other reasons.)
Where did you get that anti-depressant stat?
(The reason for this high rate could be some of the things you cite, but it could also be partially explained by doctors over-prescribing them, which has happened and continues to happens with lots of different drugs in different places and times.)
I agree with you about the "Canada is Great" stuff.
And you're absolutely right: Canada wants immigrants because the economy will collapse without them. That is indeed correct.

You might fit the "cultural activities" experience qualification for self-employed immigrants: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/self-employed/apply-who.asp#definitions
+Immigroup Inc Thanks. I'll look into it.

+Ulysses Mayoral
What would the "certificate" be? How long would you study? That's the crux, really. It's about whether or not the Canadian authorities can match your certification to an equivalent one in Canada. But education credentials from the US are (mostly) going to be given greater weight than credentials from many other countries.
If you get your certification (and it qualifies as a diploma) and you work in a "skilled" job in your field for at least a year, you will likely qualify to come to Canada as a Permanent Resident, rather than a temporary one (which is the work permit route).
Der eban A+ right?
The easiest and fastest is to be a REFUGEE.

But that doesn't include the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), which will take a long time.
oh wow 42 days is not that long, how long does the LIMA usually take?
Unfortunately an LMIA takes months. I don't know that there's a set standard either; it likely depends on the job and the industry.

What is the difference between a residency permit and a visa?
A visa is a travel document, allowing you to come to Canada.
A permit is a document which allows you to work or study in Canada.
These are the various types of statuses in Canada:
Temporary residence:
Temporary resident (visitor)
Temporary worker
International student
Protected Person
Permanent Resident
Citizen

Also beside the fees, what other expenses will face me there in case I'm confirmed ?
Ahmed abdulSalam
Thanks for the feedback.

Glad to read that you were courageous and moved from a place you didn't like to a place you like :) Wish all the same courage :)
Which place are you referring to that's hot and overcrowded?

Hi,
Unfortunately, if you were only ever landed immigrants, you were never citizens and are not considered citizens now. Basically, if you never swore an Oath to the queen, it's very unlikely you're Canadian.
Sorry for the bad news.

First, you have to apply for IEC. If you're approved, then you can come to Canada and work and travel.
If you want to stay, you'll have to apply for an additional work permit or study permit. IEC *does not* count towards permanent residence.

Where does the Express Entry Program offered by the CIC fall under this list?
+Manish Narwani Hi there,When we wrote the article that this video is based on, Express Entry did not yet exist. However none of the options listed in the video fall under Express Entry, as Express Entry is geared towards skilled workers immigrating permanently. If you have the education and work experience and can get your education recognized ("equivalated"), and you can score enough points, then you immigrate here quickly.

Yes, you are correct: in most cases you need a job offer and a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before you apply for a work permit (the latter can take months).
If they have offices in both countries, you can ask for a transfer and then get a work permit via NAFTA.

Hi,
Well, there are three types of IEC visas. There may be restrictions on the Young Professionals and there definitely is a restriction on the Co-Op (intern) visa, but I think the Working Holiday one is generally open.
The duration restriction would be you cannot work longer than the visa is valid for, to the best of my knowledge.

Good luck to you
If I'm already moving to New Brunswick to study a one year certificate, what should I do or know to apply for a citizenship/longer permit to stay in Canada?
Thanks! Where can I see more information about the open work permit?
www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-postgrad.asp
So if I found a job offer while I'm visiting Canada, Can I process a visa to work while I'm there? Or I need to come back to my country to make that?
Hector Cairo
Provided your employer has already got the LMIA, or your occupation is LMIA-exempt, you should be able apply for a "Change of status" without leaving the country.
However, if your occupation isn't LMIA, and your employer hasn't yet applied for the LMIA, you will have to leave the country when your visa's validity expires if it expires before you are able to apply for the work permit.

Your parents either need to get job offers (unless they are "skilled workers") or they need to wait until you are a PR, and then you can sponsor them.
Thank you. :)
+Abubakar Idris Dadiyata
You may qualify as a "skilled worker." You should look into what is known as "Express Entry," which is the process of immigrating as a skilled worker. www.immigroup.com/express-entry
Immigroup Inc Thank you :)
+Abubakar Idris Dadiyata You are welcome
+Mintot albios
Unless your parents are going to immigrate here and bring you along, you have one option: get accepted into a Canadian (private) high school and get a study permit.
hi there wich website would u say is The legit website to apply .
www.cic.gc.ca/english/
Hello there. As a skilled mining engineer should I apply for jobs?
If you have work experience and credentials you can get recognized in Canada, you may not need a job offer to immigrate. www.immigroup.com/express-entry
How do I know which companies are in the trade agreement? (I'm Panamanian)
The US, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Korea, certain professions under GATS: www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/international/gats.asp
Hi Immigroup Inc, I'm American and live in NYC, could you please tell me briefly what do you think would be my chances to move to Canada? Thanks, I appreciate it :-)
What do you do for a living? Immigration to Canada centres around work experience and education normally.
Im nowhere near rich, and i had to drop out from highschool for family & money issues. From Mexico, 24, single, and do have experience in arts and i speak english decently. What would be the best and fastest way to move to canada permanently to work or study there? and is it likely for me to do so?
Hello! I am an international student in canada. How do you start if you want to apply as a skill worker living outside canada?? Thanks!!
Just fill out a permanent residence form online and the wait
If you qualify for FSW, FSW or CEC (or a PNP) then, yes.
kindly update this video with till date data.

Thank you for asnwering
I am going to serch through the links on the video for the study section.
Also if its not already there too, what is the deal with the Artist Immigration?
Thanks again
You have to demonstrate that you have supported yourself through "cultural activities" and can continue to do so once here. It's extremely vague.
Do you need a visa before you apply to the university?
Immigroup Inc Hey can a Dj move to Canada and have a work permit / Visa
yes i have lot of exprince certifcates from ford company and mercedes
So then what you need to do is see if you can get those "equivalated" for Canada, www.immigroup.com/news/educational-credential-assessment-eca-express-entry and then try to immigrate through Express Entry via "Skilled Trades"
Hi. I'm currently in college for a bachelor in Tourism and I want to start my life in Canada as soon as possible after I graduate (I'll be 21 then). What would be the best path to Candian citizenship? I don't know if this has any importance but I'm a Belgian citizen.
Matthew V
For you, the best path is probably to come here on a working holiday visa, which is basically an open work permit available to certain people, such as Belgian citizens. Learn more here: www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/iec/index.asp?country=be&cat=wh
Here's the catch: in order to become a permanent resident, you need to find a job that qualifies you for this immigration stream: www.immigroup.com/canadian-experience-class
Because the permit is "open" you can come here and then look for the job.
Hope this helps.
Immigroup Inc Okay, your answer was very helpfull. Thank you so much!
Matthew V
Glad we could help
excellent video, i absolutely loved it. as a recently graduated Agricultural Engineer from Hungary, what are my possibilities of getting a job in the forestry industry? i would greatly appreciate your help.
You should figure out which province(s) you want to move to and contact the professional association of engineers for that province(s) and ask them about the job market.
Alternatively, if you work for a year in your field and then immigrate, you could probably come here without a job offer: www.immigroup.com/express-entry
thank you kindly :)
Good luck
+Immigroup Inc so when I move up and study I can become an permanent resident?how long would this take in general?
Well, to become a permanent resident through study it's usually the length of your program + year year minimum in a skilled occupation before you can apply. Application will take at least 6 months too.
what a hard way to go to canada really - u make it hard seems canada is a paradise as im an afghan guy from afghanistan my dream was to live in canada since i was 10 years kid but after i watch this video im not going to take this Adventure anymore but i still love canada and canadian lovely and friendly people I wish the State of Canada more development and prosperity--- FazeL From AFGHANISTAN
This video is out of date but you're right, it's hard to immigrate to Canada.
With only High School, you pretty much need a job offer to come here, unless you can afford to go to school here.
Immigroup Inc Would any kind of school be good? Or it can only be college or university?
It has to be at a "designated learning institution": www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp
Only high school? Not good enough no matter what languages you have learned.
Fantastic video fellow!
hello, I have scored a very good score in TOEFL and I have a one year experience, the problem is it is in two different feilds (1 a teacher, 2 an engineer) I have graduated with an engineering bs.c
statistically speaking, what are the chances of me goog there through express entry?
also is the conversion of a student residency to having work permit is as easy as it was?
This is my real account - Ignore the other comment
Hello, i'm 18 years old and I've been thinking about immigrating to Canada for a while now, I finished high school in Israel but was born in Ukraine.
In Canada, University is much, much more expensive. Try to find a job in your country as you have a better chance at getting accepted.
Mike c
Hi Mike,
This depends on a number of things. If you two have no interest in getting married then she cannot sponsor you, so I won't go into detail about that, unless you are interested.
For Nova Scotia, there is a Provincial Nominee Program (how a province tells the federal government they want immigrants) which you can look into: www.immigroup.com/nova-scotia-immigration-provincial-nominee-program-pnp
Otherwise, you have to apply for a work permit which usually means you need a job offer from a Canadian employer, supported by what is known as an LMIA.
Hope this helps.
Immigroup Inc We were recently talking about getting married over the summer! This would make being together much easier
Mike c
In that case you have two options: she can sponsor you "inland" (i.e. you come to visit her and then you marry in NS or elsewhere in Canada and then you apply to be sponsored) or she can sponsor you "outland" (i.e. she comes to you, you marry, and then she returns to NS by herself and you wait in the US to get approved).
Mike c Isn't America better than Canada in terms of job ,salary, cost of living, weather etc?
莫志刚 Well that's a wild generalization.
Some parts of Canada have better employment rates than parts of the US, and some don't; it also depends on the industry and region.
As to salaries, certainly they are often better if you make a lot of money, but Canadian minimum wages are way higher than American, almost across the board.
Costs of living depend on regions as well. Toronto and Vancouver are extraordinarly expensive, as are San Francisco and New York, for example.
And in terms of the weather, you are talking about two of the biggest countries in the world, so the weather varies to put it mildly.
i m dj/producer
what should i do to work there ?
If you can prove that you can live on being a DJ/producer, you could try the self-employed option: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/self-employed/apply-who.asp
Hi, Is there any ways for me to get a PR in Canada, if my brother and sisters are canadian citizenship there?
+Li Wong Well, likely not. However, there are three provinces in Canada where they could possibly sponsor you if they own a business.
+Immigroup Inc. My eldest brother is running a small business in Ottawa. U think he could possible for him to help me to get there? My late father was there in 20 years ago. What he did was that he forgot to put my name onto an application form and at that times I was only 12 years old.
+Li Wong
Well if you weren't included on the application form, that is going to be a huge problem.
Your brother cannot sponsor you in Ontario. If he had a business in another province (there are three which allow family sponsorship in business) you might be in better shape, but you'd have to resolve the issue of being left off the application.
my mom is a proffesional artist. from Ukraine. What shuld she do to immigrate to canada? is it gonna be more esyer for her proffesion then to people wz enother skilles ?
Anastacia Ignatenko
Hi, she may qualify for the "self employed" stream:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/self-employed/apply-who.asp
I am an African and very fluent in French and English wit over 7 years experience in HR..though I plan to further my education, what other options are available for me?..Thank you for your response.
Gozzy Hamz
Unfortunately, unless you are in a management position, you have to either get a job offer from a Canadian employer or you will have to come here for school.
I'm welder. Whats the best way to immigrate. Tanks
Through the Skilled Trades stream through Express Entry: www.immigroup.com/skilled-trades-stream
Can you help me? I was learning about the Morden program. Do you know someting about it? And, whats the best province to immigrate as welder? My email is saladocha@outlook.com. Thanks by the attention!
So as dragartist & Lamda teacher I can pretty much walk in?
General Well, provided you can meet the requirements listed here www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who-nopermit.asp presumably you would just need a visitor visa, if it's required for your nationality.
How long it take to get proceeding for my common law sponsorship?
The entire process takes 12 months on average
hi thx for the information i would like to ask you about trades programe as an electricien i get two years experience my eng good...is ther any chance to apply
Yes: www.immigroup.com/news/express-entrys-comprehensive-rating-system
Sorry it isnt clear how one can invest and get citizenship. Can you please elaborate? and is there a catch?
There are both federal and provincial programs to invest to become a permanent resident. They're all pretty expensive. Here is the federal: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/investors/index.asp
Provincial programs are less expensive.

I'm a civil servant and I have 5 years experience, I'm also a mother to a four month old boy. My fiance is a print machine assistant with ten years experience in the print trade. What would be the best route to take to emigrate to Canada?.
Depending upon what you do as a civil servant, it's likely to be the Federal Skilled Worker program through Express Entry.
Excuse me ! I'm a mechanical engineer and I also have 2-year experience . I intend to study the " FAST-TRACK " program in Winnipeg ( Red river college ) . I really want to be in Canada to work and find chances to live there . Is it possible with the "Fast-track " program ? Thank you for reading
Anh Luat Nguyen
I don't know what the Fast Track problem is. Got a link?
Immigroup Inc " Fast-track " is a studying program for graduates ... It's also called " Post graduate program " . The program lasts 2 years , I can work after I graduate and I can enroll on Master Degree . Thank you for replying me anyway :)
Anh Luat Nguyen
Is it offered through the MPNP or is it offered through a school?
Here is the link! Thank you Immigroup Inc . I think it's offered through a school me.rrc.mb.ca/Catalogue/ProgramInfo.aspx?RegionCode=WPG&ProgCode=MECEP-DP
I don't know if I can apply for a work permit after I graduate from this continuing education program ( in Manitoba ) . I already have a Bachelor degree in my country
+Tane Henry
Hi,
In all likelihood, it will re-open around the same time it did last year, i.e. early March.
+Tane Henry
It's an "open" work permit, which means you can work different jobs. So, if you can get your electrician and helicopter licenses both recognized in Canada, you can, in theory, work as both.
Hi mam can I ask how the processing apply if my auntie want to apply me she my employer.thanks. Kareen joy

I'm the admin. Of this channel. The one you are commenting on. It's my job. What vitriol?

Incredible!
How did you ever manage to see me coming? You only posted xenophobic nonsense on an Immigration Consultant's TH-cam channel. You must be some kind psychic.

What should I be doing instead?
