I produced this video for fun. Loved the song and thought it would make a compelling visual. Filmed on the coldest day of the year and on one of the hottest... The Belvedere Fire Dept and Kendrick Paint and Body were unbelievable in helping make the crash scene feel realistic as possible... I decided to do it all on this one. shoot direct produce and edit.

This song and video exactly reminds of my own life when I was an infant that got into a 7 car pile wreck west of Grand Junction, Colorado off of I-70. I flew out the passenger widow. I roled into the ravine a dozen times off of I-70. I got transported to Grand Junction Hospital. I had brain surgery for 3 days. Everybody had prayed for my survival. On the third day I came out alive. I had severe autism from recovering from that brain surgery. At the age of 6 I has a chemical imbalances ib my brain that I was diagnosed with very mild autism. That car wreck hardship is the exact same thing that is described in this Darius Rucker country music song and video when I was an infant. This is and was a very big stepping stone why I'm alive today and why I'm who am. Nothing can change that. This is why that those nurses and doctors at Grand Junction Hospital tell myself "I Hope That Get To Me Scott In Time" so that the good Lord dosen't have him pass away from brain surgery. Scott can live to see the rest of his life. I have since I was an infant. I love myself for this reason and from Darius Rucker letting Scott know "I Hope That They Get To Me In Time." This is what my uncles on my mama's side of my family have informed me. Yes. Faith moves mountains. God is so good. Amen to this cou2 music song. Amen to Darius Rucker. Amen to everybody that has and can to this song like I've gone through. God bless everybody. Thank you for everything. Yes. Your welcome to everybody.

wow. i cried from the moment it started and i am still crying. my dad is 60 and he is falling asleep at the wheel alot. he drives 2 hours to and from work each day. i am so thankful to hear his keys in the front door every day. i am only 17 and i am so scared my brother will have to walk me down the isle one day... i couldn't imagine my life without my daddy.. thank you for posting. thank you.

A very touching video. As a retired fireman and EMT, this explains just why we do what we do. It's not the lights and sirens. It's being able to save one life and make a difference.
WOW!!!! I first heard this song at a rescue convention in October. POWERFUL!! Im an EMT/Rescue Tech and this song really hits home with me. Brings the patient's thoughts in their time of need in perspective. AWESOME SONG & VIDEO!!

Awesome Video. As a Volunteer of the Shelton Fire Department I see a lot of terrible accidents caused by Drinking and Driving. This should defiantly be showed in public safety videos and the news!

I got into a car crash that almost took my life at 16 2 months ago on my way to school and I spent two months in the hospital. Listening to this song really expresses everything that went through my head when I woke up from my coma in the hospital and it makes me cry
The fire department used in this video is the belvedere fire department I grew up around all of these guys and this video hits very close to home. everytime I hear this song and see this video I actually start to tear up.

wow great video i work with local schools helping kids keep from driving while drunk used it in my presentations. And when i show it everyone in the crowd starts crying and we get pledges where they promise not to drive while drinking and EVERYONE pledged not to drink and drive. we have a total of 100 thousand pledges so far for 2011 its a great video keep up the great work

It really does something to one's emotions to see what has happened to so many people. Over 74,000 have viewed already and I'm sure everyone has been touched profoundly.
