Carmageddon? More like CrossOut. I started buying old matchbox cars and taking them apart because I think the idea of playing post-apocalyptic death-races in a tabletop is awesome.
@@TomsTabletopBunker All my mates are into Fantasy Warhammer 8th edition, but I have to say that for such an established and complex game, WF is severely flawed. I noticed that Gaslands appears pretty simple, but the game enables quite a lot of versatility and options for that low level of complexity. Sometimes, less is more.
Gaslands is great fun!! There’s loads of great videos on TH-cam for upgrading cars for this. I’d advise stripping the paint off your cars before painting them. There’s usually lots more detail than you realise under the thick coat of paint they use.
I've been recording a build and paint video which will be out next week. I've managed to get a decent base coat on the cars after stripping them back so thanks for the tip 👍
I've played it once and it's a ton of fun. At one time I was thinking on playing Streetracers vs Police with regular traffic as obstacles. No weapons save for the cops but all sorts of speed gizmo's for the racers, all in a truely Fast and Furious setting 😛

Absolutely brilliant game.
We took it to our local gaming club and did a "have a go" game.
We now have a track there 🤣

@@colonelburton8451 totally agree
That second car that you opened looked sort of like the car David Carradine's car in Death Race 2000.
It does doesn't it.
I've even painted it black

I've just bought a hotwheels lorry haha
@@TomsTabletopBunker You can go as weird as you want, like buying a steamtrain and giving it tank tracks for instance ;-)
@@TomsTabletopBunker Also, need some more inspiration? Here's some REAL Gaslands 😀 th-cam.com/video/gAKekhmTRaY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=RobertMaddox
