- Seoul is a great city, where tradition and modernity are in harmony. But, where can you get the best view of the city? That's Inwangsan mountain.
서울은 전통과 현대가 조화된 멋진 도시 입니다. 어디서 서울의 멋진 경관을 감상할 수 있을까요? 바로 인왕산입니다.
On top of it, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while hiking the mountain, and very easy to hike with well-made trails. It's also located in central Seoul, so you can get here in an hour from the busy downtowns. I tried to hike the mountain, but it was rainy and cloudy over the last few weeks. Finally it turned sunny, so I was able to hike, and now I can show you how beautiful the mountain is.

Seoul is a very modern city but you can be in nature at any time in the city because there are many mountains, forest and a river. Hope you can make it to Seoul soon!

Hi R C, Yes it's good to hike around sunset because there are lights along the trails, so you can still hike even at night. The sunset start around 6pm as of today, but it changes as the day goes by. Are you planning to hike the mountain? :)

Hello Amy, the nearest station to the Inwang Mountain is Dongnimmun Station (line 3), but also you can hike from Seodaemun station (line 5) as well. Cheers!
