- This was my first time meeting VODKA & CHIC RAW in 2003, and if ya'll remember from a previous VLOG, I wasn't scheduled to meet them. I was invited by a guy named Bundles who ran FAT TRACKS ENTERTAINMENT. He invited me down to film a few of his young artists such as female rapper VASE, DEUCE, BARROWS DA BEAST (name may be misspelled), and many of the other names I can't remember. The second Vodka & Chic Raw arrived to the cypher everything changed, and the rest is history!

I was in these videos back n the days on rosy steps .. nigga always rapped up there it was a all day everyday thing .. I only remember snopp name here but I don’t forget the faces who would had known those videos would be epic classic Philly hip hop.. maybe it was overlooked because this is just how Philly was back then. The standard was extremely high, I don’t think Philly will ever be this good again

Big Star, stop putting unnecessary cuts in the videos. Lol, I’ve seen the original jawns. No need to cut out a 2 second pause
Totally "Necessary", and everything I do has a purpose my guy. Since you mentioned it, i'll give you an explanation. If you notice, all the "Uh, yeah, check-check, what I tell em" type stuff the rappers say and the space when they get done rapping is cut out because those are the moments when the regular instrumental is playing. TH-cam will pick up on the instrumental and "flag" that section of the video. So, to prevent any issues with TH-cam I have to go through each video and crop parts where the raw instrumental is playing. Also, if you notice, Normally during the first 5-10 minutes of some videos the profanity is censored, if you have any profanity during the first 30 seconds to few minutes of a video TH-cam makes is difficult to monetize with them. So, i've had to adjust so everyone wins. Regardless, hopefully you are enjoying and appreciating me digging all this stuff up for the culture. Peace and God Bless!
