Great boat. Add The SeaKeeper companys Trim tabs. They are called “Ride” and they really make a chopped trip better and add a leveling approach to the boat while underway.
I’m Subscribing. Your Son is Great and the way he was laughing when he went to the boat with another man was Exactly what I needed. I was laughing the whole time. EXCELLENT. Great Friends Makes Great Memories. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander
Hey Mark, FYI Mowong are a species of sweetlip and only taste average if they smell like iodine when caught. I'm not saying that they are the greatest eating fish but we keep them if they don't smell and they eat well above average plus help fill the esky👍
Wear PFDs when underway especially when necking beers in choppy seas on maiden voyage lol - oh and get some chain sock for the anchor chain to protect your roller and boat 🛥️
Doing what we do. Adventure and the goal the return to camp with meat for the table. Now we return with the experience and the challenge for a better go next round. LET'S GET BACK OUT THERE.
Mark, if you're thinking of doing more trips like this, I'd like to suggest getting a Food Saver, then any fish you keep and don't eat can be cryovaced to keep fresh. 4wd supercentre have one for a good price.
Be worth wiring your bilge direct to the battery so that it keeps the deck dry. On an auto switch that always drains so you don’t end up with a boat and cab full of water.
the boat look good! ! that passage can turn nasty very quickly . I would say that most dangerous part of the whole bay . Do you have spot lock on your motor as well ?
good work, that many blokes on a boat and boose, not good, but thats your choice!. I was pissing myself laughing with the tender, what a clown hahahaha. do yourself a favour the bilge pump is under rated to move that volume of water also does the bilge have an auto function automatic on/off float switches?. overall good maiden trip well done Mark. the fans you have in the Cab of the boat where did you get them from? I like the idea to get airflow in the cab .
The fact it doesn’t have self draining decks is a worry. The fact it isn’t fitted with auto switches is scary and even worse that the bilge pump looks like it pumps no more than a fish tank. For what that boat probably cost you I would be very disappointed with that. As was explained to me once. When you need a bilge pump there isn’t one big enough in the world. You boat probably does have buoyancy but you still need plenty of bilge. I have 2 x 1600gph on 2 completely separate circuits to separate batteries, and another 2000gph at the front of the boat. Something you need to look at.
It does the switch has three settings on/ off / auto obviously not set to auto. Another bad day of weather would have seen a different outcome to water level in the boat !!!!!!!
Blind leading the blind 😂😂😂

Most of the time it's not about the fish we bring home, its the fun we have.
Nice work.
The maiden voyage in the tender to put the pump on was absolutely hilarious, had me laughing tears
Loved this episode lads! Bunch of blokes having a Margi and a good bloody time!

Wonderful trip - looks like the boat handles it perfectly!
Thanks for all the awesome uploads this year Mark!😊
Wishing you and the fam a safe New Years and a great 2025 cobber 💛
Great video mate, mates being mates enjoy your time and have fun.
Awesome video. It’s all about making memories with your mates.
Quality banter from the young fella.

Party boat 🎉🎉🎊🎊
Whaaatttt not about catching fish !!!!
Extra credit for James for not doing the usual and showing everyone up. Not a bad trip at all.
Love the comedy........Circus clowns do exist!
we have a quote in the united states for ya mark. "A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work."
Haha I bet you did a big check to make sure that you had everything before you left 😂, but no floor for the tender 😂 . You won’t forget that again 😂
That was funny guys. Aussies know how to have a good time, eh LOL
What are those fans mounted on the hardtop called? they look slick .. and look wireless but maybe just very neatly installed

Good on you man living the dream
My two Boat name suggestions, "Men at Work" or "It's a Keeper" ❤ the Boat !!
Great work men fun is the best 👌 👍 🇦🇺
YEAH THE BOYZ 🤙🏼

Great adventure

What was the name of the first drink it looked very good
nice one
Unfortunately the bilge pump in the stabi’s only works when the isolation switch is on.. get the bilge hard wired directly to the battery
Big black...🎉
Hi Mark, how did the Yamaha Helm Master perform? Would you prefer that over the Minn Kota?
I think its a rankin cod. Should try to get the boat up to hervey bay for some better fishing.

Do your bilge pumps have automatic on/off float switches?
Not if Northside marine fitted it out
Same question surely that boat had auto bilge - super curious to know why not..
Install one, if you'll be moored away from the boat.
Now that’s a good time….
If you want to get bigger fish in the bay start using better bait and bigger baits
You might need a longer mooring rope next time... not sure you want that buoy knocking against your boat all day long
When you said the stabi craft was good in rough weather. Then turned the camera around to show the guy sitting in the back how looked sick 🤢 😂.
Rookie mistake with the inflatable... A first big trip is always a challenge to think of everything😁💦🐟🎣
Alcohol and anything, don't mix.
Where’s my invitation?
need a bigger capacity auto bilge pump than that toy
ITS NOT TANGALOOMA ISLAND , ITS MORETON ISLAND, TANGALOOMA IS A RESORT......

Can’t believe it didn’t have auto bilge

Get a real bilge pump mate.
