My post-stroke fatigue is a Zombie disease, far beyond mere tiredness - can’t really move, think, function properly - just want to lie in bed.

My only symptoms beyond fatigue as a result of my stroke 3 years ago are lack of coordination and occasional dizziness, not depression.

my strike was 3 months ago. i liken it to an infant using so much of its neural capacity to learn/self program that in a short time it just must sleep/nap. they just seem to run out of gas. that is how i am. it is getting better (i used to have
to start cooking dinner, nap , then do the second part. it was terrible.

My husband had a Thalemic stroke in 2018 and fatigue is major symptom...he describes it as feeling Wiped...even at rest and prevents increased activity. I watch him sit at the table and he slowly closes his eyes.We have talked about depression and he insist he is not...he has chronic back problems, sleep apnea but doesn't feel the cpap machine helps...his stroke was complicated by enlarge prostate.too....I'm constantly looking at nutritional effects, I wonder if there is problems in gut and bladder issues....labs are reported as normal. Regarding brain...I wonder to myself ....if fatigue happens after hard work ..what is the physiology for that and is that mechanism injured leading to this fatigue without exercise...

My fatigue varies from day to day, can’t explain why. Exercised doesn’t seem to explain it.
