Really appreciate informative video, Chris. I picked up a similar unit (the F-5A) at a liquidation store (for $9!!!) but had no idea how to use it -- your tutorial helped a lot. Now I can't wait to try this for myself. Thank you!
EXCELLENT! You're welcome. Glad the video helped. Wow, what a bargain at $9.00! I think you'll have lot of fun with it. Take care Joel. Thank you for watching and commenting.
This video was insanely informative. You took me all the way from "Why did I buy this thing--maybe it's broken?" to "Holy cow, it does even more than I thought!" Thanks a million!💯❤
Hello and thank you for watching. So sorry for my late reply. I wanted to thank you as well for the very nice compliment/comment you made. It makes us very happy when we get positive feedback from viewers, like yours. Take care and thanks again.
Is there a way to only get the audio back from the USB for channel 3/4 to send to headphones but not to send to the output? I'm having issue where it seems like that's not possible and I have to use bluetooth earbuds.
You should not leave that plus 4 button on if you’re not using a phantom powered microphone. It’s the phantom power button and it can ruin your computer. Great video thank you.
Thank you for mentioning that. I did turn off the 48v after noticing it in the video (after the fact). I appreciate the compliment and you watching and commenting.
Hello there. Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with using headphones. Unfortunately, I don't understand why the headphone jack is not working for you. Whenever I've had little bugs pop up, I either restart the power button or disconnect the computer, then reconnect it. That's all I can offer you at this point because it's got me puzzled as well. Good luck sir. I'm sorry that I wasn't much help. Thank you for watching.
@@aaronoyler6830 Sorry about that. I looked in to it and discovered from another reviewer that queuing up a song without it interfering with your main mix is not possible with this unit. It has its limitations mainly because it's a budget mixer.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Unfortunately, trying to find specific technical information on this mixer is near impossible. Most of the information I received was in Chinese and the model numbers and brand names switch constantly. I'm sorry I couldn't provide that for you, but if I had to guess (96 kHz/24bit) is usually the benchmark for these types of units.
Hello Troy...sorry it took me so long to get back to you again. It looks like you need powered speakers in order for the sound to come through for you. I did a test with unpowered ones and had the same problem you did. So, unfortunately you may have to invest in some electric trolley speakers or something.
It's one of those weird Chinese brands that keeps switching names every generation that they make of these things. It probably won't exist in a couple more months LOL. It's gone by the 4-F and F-4 model numbers forever though. Sorry I couldn't give you any further information, but the unit is still working great for me. I've used it to record many things already.

I use this as a full-time musician - remarkably useful product 🤩
I definitely agree. Musicians would better benefit from this unit than voice-over artists. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Have you figured out how to use the headphones for pre- mix??

@ the headphones work. I want to be able to que up the next song without it playing in the main mix that guests hear. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks for this review. Whats the highest bit depth and samole rate?

I can’t get the microphone to come through my speakers.
Which outputs are you using? Are you getting music coming out of your speakers at least?
