Welcome back to my channel with another exciting video. This is an early gameplay comparison between two of the best fighting games developed by Spike Chunsoft i.e. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (2007) & Dragon Ball Sparking Zero (2024)
This video covers some of the major aspects of these games like combat, transformations, special attacks, etc., and compares these aspects.
Dragon Ball is a Japanese media franchise created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. The initial manga, written and illustrated by Toriyama, was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995, with 519 individual chapters collected in 42 tankōbon volumes by its publisher Shueisha.

Honestly i prefer the way beams looked in bt3, they just perfectly resemble what beams of plasma would look like imo, and they look most like the show

Vegeta's galick gun looks nice in the game tho
To fix the misaligned character outlines:
1) Right click Budokai Tenkaichi 3 > Properties
2) Enable "Manual Hardware Renderer Fixes" under Graphics > Rendering Tab
3) Under Upscaling Tab input 300/500 in the X/Y fields for "Texture Offsets"
Note: These fixes are for the most recent qtnightly builds. Older builds have to be navigated in a different way.
Imagine making a “graphics comparison” video on an emulator with bugged out settings

Never understand how people go "bt3 was better less flashy more gameplay focused" yet everyone who played the demo says that you can do everything you could in bt3 but better. It really feels like some dragon ball fans literally just cant see

@@thatbloodyspy I can’t stand games where the punches give off effects number 3 I like how the punches felt real without all the cartoonish side effects then the smoke clouds look horrible just a bunch of same lil puffs of smoke no creativity and they trying make it look like real life instead of the anime like they tried to hard making the explosion look real and they need to get rid of cutscenes after doing a move
I need rush comparisons when the game releases in 4 months

The aura is missing when you charge the character full in BTZ compare to BT3
I've already fallen in love with this game. You can tell that there was genuine passion put into this. Its visually stunning but it has the same appeal as the previous BT games if not even more.

@@YoruYoruYoruYoruYoru "every modern DB game" is that including Legends and Dokkan which are gacha mobile games with little to no combat system, Kakarot which is only known for its cutscenes, FighterZ which is very good in its own right, but is so far removed from a 3d fighter that you can't really compare them gameplay-wise, and Xenoverse 2 which has pretty good combat and an ok-ish customization system but oily graphics?

Con mas de 15 años de diferencia y el Tenkaichi 3 sigue viendose mas fluido y pulidl mientras el otro parece un show de luces porque se enfocaron mas en que la pantalla pare brillando que en el combate.
El modelado del Tenkaichi 3 tambien es muchisimo mas fiel al anime con sombras y tamaño.
Los golpes en el viejo se sienten mas fuertes mientras en el nuevo parece por momentos que golpean el aire.

Bro, no tienes ni idea de cómo evoluciona un juego. Por lo que se ve, ya superó al BT3 y por bastante. Nostalfan, ve a emular el BT3 en un gama baja y deja de criticar.
Mi amigo el que vive de la nostalgia, sparking zero se lo barre en todo, no hay ni punto de comparación, tenkaichi 3 es magnífico para el tiempo que salio y se sigue viendo muy bien, pero sparking zero es casi qué controlar al personaje del anime no mms
@@alexanderdjesuscrespovasqu3294 me arrepiento de todo el hate que le di a este juego. Tras el ultimo trailer promocional en que salia yajirobe, jiren, sopovich dabura etc me compraron. Si respeta lo que es la trilogia antigua. La musica de el final de ese video parece que estara en el juego y esa musica si suena como una del bdt2 y 3. Lo unico q no me gusta es el selector de personajes pero creo que el de la demo no sera el final, espero asi sea porque es una mrda el de la demo, es incomodo y el de los antiguos era god y y mas agradable de usar. Y el juego ahora se ve mejor, nose que paso quizas es solo mi percepcion. Este juego es al fin lo que todos los fans de db soñabamos.

I think a direct comparison with Raging blast 2 would be more fitting. It is basically the remastered version of BT3 after all.
No it isn't, raging blast 2 is terrible compared to tenkaichi 3. Raging blast 2 attacks look real dull and bland compared to tenkaichi 1,2 and especially 3. Raging blast gameplay is much slower and less intense than the tenkaichi games.
@@mathematics557 Dunno. Those parts you seem to not like, are things i can easily look over to just have a modern'ish Dragonball game on my hands nontheless.
The attacks didn't feel slower and dull at all. They actually just hit the target right.
on the older tenkaichi series the punches are clouded with a big hit effect and sound while the punches dont even hit the characters themselves xD

Idk why ppl is complaining that much. OK the game has some exagerated lights and explosions/punches dont feel "hard" enough but still a FIRST VERSION. We cant forget that budokai tenkaichi3 was a masterpiece after 5 budokai games, DBZ Budokai 1/2/3 and DBZ BudokaiTenkaichi 1/2.
