    That march of the Melting Points at the end was some War-of-the-Worlds-ass cinematography. Fucking terrifying.

    I do not care what others say but when you spam fortresses you better be playing titanicus from stringstorm cause it’s the song made for massive war machines

    I was at Round 7 trying to figure out how you’d managed to stay alive this long. But man… good recovery at the end! Your opponent had many chances to just end you, but he failed to push for an early close and paid a heavy price for it.

    I always get value out of the fire missile upgrade for stormcallers (unlike the vulcan version) but they also tend to do a ton of damage to your own units if you have anything that isnt insanely slow

      Yes 😁 The friendly fire potential is crazy, but I've definitely been finding great overall value from the incendiary bombs now that I can keep that friendly fire risk in mind!

    Cool matches. Id like to see more live recorded ones!

      And I'd love to provide those man! Only issue is I tend to get my gaming done at insane hours during the night - between midnight and 4am - so it's a bit of a challenge not to wake neighbours while I'm shooting live 😁 I'll see what I can do though

    Man it's confusing with you being red when picking and talking like the blue guy haha
    Damn melting points the most broken unit i can think of xD but my god does it look good with those beams across the board and all those fortresses loaded with barriers getting demolished 🤣

      Best combined with hackers with the restore-health-upgrade. Big Unit gets molten down, then regains full health and is now your unit. Especially good if the hackers also have multi-target, but that's quite expensive (especially when combined with range).
      I think barriers on Hackers don't have much value, the upgrade costs 300 for which you can place 3 barriers - and theirs are so much weaker.
      Hacker Barrier per Level -> 25.000
      Fortress Barrier per Level -> 40.000
      Shield Airdrop (and 100$ Shield too I think) -> 50.000
      So you have to invest another 100$ per hacker to make their shield as strong as a 100$ one and then it's still smaller. Also you have to level them up, which means they have to gain experience or you pay another 100$ to summon them at Lvl2 and then they will cost another 100$ more. So shields on Hackers don't really make any sense.
      A Fortress Lvl 2 will have a Shield with 80.000 HP. A Hacker Lvl 3 will only have a Shield with 65.000, so it scales worse.
      Sorry for using a reply-comment to calculate my next strategy. xD

      @@johnleorid So you are saying from the perspective of the fortress guy he would have been better off with half as many fortresses and replaced those with hackers instead if i understand correctly 😅

    early rockets are such a huge waste, you lose out on points advantage and lose XP

    • @gognok
      @gognok ปีที่แล้ว

      Nah, you gain more xp, but you lose the 50 money per round, so you won't have enough to upgrade.
      Best to use them sparingly.

      @@gognok missile kills the enemy so none of your units will get xp?

      Actually, killing enemies with a rocket will divide their exp among all your units. No exp is lost.

    The early round missile on the tanks is just frustrating - more because you know it's a stupid thing to since sure, you win the round - but the missile kills all the units that the opponent could have levelled up from, so why is he doing dumb shit to win the few rounds that don't matter in the slightest as it barely scrapes your hp. Like round 3 or 4 or if he's loosing a flank, completely understandable - but 1st couple of rounds is just why would anyone do that? XD

    • @whitelabrat
      @whitelabrat ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It also wastes resources. Honestly 3 missiles is 150 supply. Defensive missiles maybe be early on you just threw away a whole unit or 2 upgrades. Later that almost always hurts you some. And around round 4 is where you start to really feel it. I think people do it because they want to use every tool they have to win but patience usually pays off more since the money just carries over. Later when you have supply to spare you can set up as many as you want.
      You killed a unit twice but now I have an extra unit by round 3 so.... what exactly did you gain? 2 or 3 wins that don't cost me much life and I put more power on the board forever.

    • @alexroberts3944
      @alexroberts3944 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only time I can justify an early sentry is when I want to stop a particular unit from gaining XP, or to try and balance a bad starting comp.
