its over dude, holy shit, obviously its not cuz i need to do some stuff before i finally done with it and upload it to open verification. but mannn it was a horrible horrible experience. it was so freaking excruciating. just waking up work on this sleep. of course sometimes i dont work on this when i had shift to work. but, still i did it
this level is done. something that many people have doubted me over, even back then when it was suppose to be a megacollab instead of a full solo. im really proud of how most parts looks. its annoying some parts looks broken cuz the pesky shifting x follow does after a certain point. but other than that, most parts looks good and im happy
again i dont think i will put one guy to verify this, i will 100% put this on open verification. this would be grueling to try to learn lol, so anyone who is trying to beat this... good luck!

I’ve always loved the concept of excruciatingly long levels (8 minutes+) but this just takes that concept and cranks it up to level 1000. I can’t even imagine spending half an hour on a single attempt of a level, it’s just such a ludicrous idea which is why I hope this can get verified haha
i was making a level that was 37 minutes long too but it was fast gameplay instead of slow memory gameplay. it takes so long to make gameplay though i only have like 4 mins of the level done

I weirdly love this. No other color would have worked this well, purple is just perfection. The atmosphere is so funky and melancholy in a way. It’s calming yet something doesn’t feel right. I don’t know how to explain it, but I love it!

This level reminds me of when MindCap described Every End as a "top 1 which was accessible to anyone." This is even more so like that, a level which doesn't actually require you to be good at the game, while still being... Excruciatingly... Hard...

every end just failed at what it tried to be this level executes that better
watched all the way through and I am stunned. the gameplay and deco both stay interesting and fresh throughout its entirety. I don't think I'll ever forget this level, not just because it's a level but I see this as a psychological test to observe human memory's limits
Yo, this looks sick! I love really long skill checks in rhythm games like these (Egoless from guitar hero or Contentment from fnf), so this is really awesome to see! I guarantee that if this is ever verified somehow, it's gonna be a player nobody has ever heard of before, because the skills are so different here.

@@brrts to be honest, personally i really hope this ends up being an one-off thing - it just makes this experience much more unique. say, if XXL levels like this were to become much more common, the novelty would wear off quickly.
this level is mindblowing at the very least, and for me it would be disappointing people trying to replicate/copy it, to the point where it becomes just another type of level people make.

THIS is what I like. Even if it's absurdly long, it's not made by a common "good level" formula or some sort, just a complete abstract piece of art. The gameplay might not be so fun, considering how boring repetitive and terribly stressful it might get, its intention is a form of unique expression, regardless of its possession of a meaning or not. The song is homogenous and repetitive, just like the level, so this is definitely completely on purpose. I personally love ambient tracks, same for the levels in any form or game. I can only hope that this hits some more attention.
I mean this in the most honest and complimenting way possible, but I can't wait to spend an unquantifiable amount of time learning this and then get nerves when I pass 1 minute. Then 2 minutes. Then 3 minutes. And so on.

I think this is the feeling of being lost outside the reality, but still being calm. In this level you created a reality that I really want to explore

8 minutes is long enough.. but 30 minutes??? this is crazy! will definitely go down as one of the most revolutionary levels in the game ❤
With other extreme demons and difficult levels, there's always been a trend where the levels get more accessible as time goes on. Cataclysm was once seen as impossible, and now it's a beginner extreme. As hardware gets better and more tools are developed, they get easier and easier to beat. It's gotten to the point where old impossible levels that were absolutely unfeasible at their time now just look like normal hard levels.
This is entirely different though. Increasing FPS doesn't help since timings are barely any of the difficulty. Better hardware doesn't help either as long as you can run the level properly. Using the up arrow and the mouse are practically identical ways to play this. The only way to get better at this level is getting better at remembering cues, chunking information, and building muscle memory endurance, which is all entirely mental.
This means that, even years from now, the difficulty of this level most likely won't have shifted at all. When Slaughterhouse has fallen off the extended list, players will struggle on this level just as much as they would now. It's both a beautiful and terrifying thought.

Really shows how important creativity and atmosphere are, and how you can execute ideas perfectly without it being complex but rather simple and effective. Watched the entire level today. One of the coolest levels ever made, and the fact that most of it was made in 1 month by 1 person is absolutely unreal. I was really surprised that it actually managed to keep me relatively engaged though the whole thing despite its length and repetitive nature. Well done, and I hope to see this verified one day.

this reminds me of "vexations" by erik satie, a piano piece that you have to play on repeat for dozens of hours by memory, which is so excruciatingly difficult that many people start allucinating.
not exactly the same, but similar concept. i can't imagine how hard it'd be to sit there and play a level that's about 20 times longer than most levels. crazy.
This is technically harder than LIMBO. The amount of skill required is less, but the amount of memory is absolutely insane. In LIMBO, I would rate the memory 97/100. This is just 200/100
that ending is so brutal, I love it

What I hate about this is that it’s still somewhat entertaining. It’s not just half an hour of the same bs. It’s actually interesting. Which means people will do segmented runs of this, then eventually build it up to completion. Someone’s EVENTUALLY going to actually do this. That’s both awesome and awful.

I think this is the first level I’ve seen that is mentally impossible. Obviously from a physical standpoint the level is definitely doable, but I do not believe there is anyone with the mental ability and will to learn and complete this level.

Just watching this without breaks was already an experience, I am surprised that you managed to come up with so many gimmicks for every part. I also like how the text is phrased and put into the level.
