Thanks CJ, always appreciate the support!! It’s definitely been a lot of fun doing more than just comic art unboxings, which by the way, I am getting a slight back up again. Time to open some art!!
Thanks Bunk! As you can tell by my “I like this, but don’t remember all the details” vibe, I too am looking forward to revisiting the first 4 issues. 😂
Definitely seems like odd timing to kick off multiple higher profile Batman titles, and then follow it up with the Hush 2 announcement.

While I probably won't be reading any of these titles you've reviewed in this video, I really appreciate your candid thoughts on them, Carl. I guess I should also mention, and this falls into the topic of periodicals versus Original Graphic Novels, that if "Falling in Love on the Way to HELL" where an OGN, I'd likely be reaching out to order it right now, but based primarily on the cover art, though also somewhat on your synopsis of the story. But because it's a periodical and I'm too lazy and not interested enough to "keep track" of it, it is highly unlikely that I will ever get to buy and read it. Hey, maybe that's what we should collaborate on! A "periodicals vs OGNs" discussion....😉
That would be an interesting discussion, would have to find examples of stories that read better one way or the other. No doubt, it would be much easier to find countless examples of stories that read better in a collected edition.
@@marcuswaiHaha very true. I love reading a collected edition of a story I enjoyed reading month to month. It’s like reading a great story for the first time! Old man memory is the best! 😂
Nice overview recaps Carl...you are really pumping out the content.

Love hearing these recaps, can't wait to jump back on Falling in Love once the trade hits

Batman and Robin Year One would be a bigger deal if it didn't come out the week after Absolute Batman #1.

@@CarlsCollection if you have a old man crap memory, you need the collected edition.
