You need to take Bangalore - Pune Highway and then take the left before Hubbali. If u want to reach at 2:30pm, then you have to leave at 5am

And I really cannot say anything about the fog but have encountered it on a couple of occasions very early in the morning

Is there a sign board telling us to get off the Highway?

    Hi Sir,
Thank you the details video, we are planning to go Dandeli, Navigation is showing 9 hr journey from Bangalore to Dandeli. Should we follow the same route or it will be great if you can guide us.

The route which I took, is not so good now as you would have seen in the vlog. So you could go all the way to Hubli and then there is a cut on the hubli dharwad bypass towards Haliyal, which will take you towards dandeli

Beautiful place. Better prefer Dharwad to reach Dandeli. Road condition is good.

Nice video, informative. Thanks for sharing. Planning to go to OMH soon. Couple of questions:
    1) I am not a bird photographer, will I be out of place? Do I get binoculars from the OMH side for spotting birds?
    2) How do I reach OMH from Dandeli town by public transport? Will OMG arrange for any pickup / drop?

OMH is primarily for birders and during monsoons, people do herping, as there is hardly any bird activity in monsoons. You need to decide, if not for birding, then why do you want to visit OMH. The naturalists in OMH have their own binocs but not sure if they will lend you for prolonged duration.
Dandeli to OMH is 20kms distance so you should get some local transportation. Not sure if OMH provides that service... Sorry can't help you much with that.
