Never know what you will find. I went out in the desert in a remote place and just started detecting around a rock about 10 feet high, just thinking maybe people in the past climbed on it. I was right, about 7 in. Down under a couple of little rocks i found a coin. Yeah you guessed it, it was a 1999 chucky cheese token. Really? Out in the middle of a desert with no one around. Go figure. Great video.
I definitely enjoy it more when you are digging in the dirt! Thanks for the lesson on finding a home site and I always appreciate your comments! Mike in sunny Florida
Sorry you lost some of your footage Chigg, that's a tough one, but still, it was fun to see the things you did get, and always a pleasure to see you out diggin' with Todd. Horses while beautiful can sure be a right royal pain in the neck. I'm just glad they didn't step in the holes or knock you over by nosing your back when you weren't lookin'. Looks like you were having a really nice time in spite of everything. Just think, you didn't cut you fingers on glass, or get poked in the face, just got dirt in your eyes this time. ...ha ha ha... Always a good time watching your adventures! Have a great day guys it's been fun!
Mr Chigg Sir !! I am Rob Martin. I live in the mountains of NC . I need help figuring out my property. There are old mines...several home sites 1700-1800's as well as the property was a re-tooling spot during the archaic and woodland periods so tons of quartz chips and half made stuff everywhere. I am also 6th generation on my moms side here locally. Her family was into everything here...hardware stores, mica mining you name it. I would love to put you on at least 8 ancient sites around here plus some really other cool stuff. please correspond and we can get you over here!
@@DiamondCampaign11 I know some...need more knowledge always..lol A neat connection from where I live and yours is the "over the mountain march" starting in Tenn (very close) and going in front of my house in Plumtree NC all the way to Kings mountain to fight the British.
Sorry took me so long to reply I found kyzer's complete maps through library of Congress. Cleveland county is on there and shows a few different years. Site is tricky but loads of info
You guy's should get a set of Walky Talkies...! They did clear cut's in Maine and left one heck of a mess, the skidders (towed downed trees out of the Forests) dug up the ground & left trenches from tires over a foot deep..... they destroyed everything and then erosion took over..!
I sort of get anxiety ridden at times watching the Chigg dig because he's so anxious to find out what's buried and starts digging with his fingernails. haha Still doesn't like to wear the gloves. Thanks for the video it was great as always. Stay safe you two.
Great video Chigg and Todd you two be safe out there and GOD BLESS you two and your families Amen 🙏. Looking for the next video Chigg as always GOD BLESS
Those horses are beautiful. A horse trainer I knew told me how horses show ur emotion. And to get a horse to even go near you or to like you isn’t easy. They have to be comfortable with you. So if your nervous anxious angry they won’t want to be near you. That’s pretty amazing. She did work with autistic children with the horses. I thought that was awesome. Such curious animals. It’s a compliment that they like to be near you. Even if it is a bit of a pain LOL 😂 the brown one looks playful you better watch out lol he wants your mason jar lids. lol
Beau, You boys (teehee!) better (bring a screen) with you on your return trip and screen for buttons and other relics around the homestead. Maybe see if you can bring along Lindsay (Love her dry humor) and Drew and Joss for a future adventure on that farm sight. That group of five would be tons of fun. Congrats on all of you finds.
Chigg, got my first Garrett Metal Detector just today because of watching your Vids so Garrett owes you a big thanks. I'm more into Native American artifacts but when looking for those slows down during the summer I'm sure I'm going to have a good time scratching around with my machine. Keep the videos coming man. I like them all. Oh yeah, you keep wondering why most of your viewers aren't subscribers. In my situation I'm not signed into TH-cam on my phone and that's where I watch most of everyone's videos.
Hey Todd. Please know I’m subscribed to your channel and I always like your videos. I enjoy these partnerships with the Aquachigger. Looked like a good day to enjoy your hobby. Stay awesome guys.
That axe-pick will come in handy once it's been cleaned up and a handle added for your future excursions. A miniature style of pick of what you used over in Aussie country.
first! External Rode mic is such a great improvement to the videos. I have a friend who wants to get a detector for her husband for father's day, I sent her a link and told her to subscribe :>)
Some of the selection cuts you see are highgrading - taking all of the very best wood which is bad and some are shelterwoods where some of the good trees are left as a high quality genetic seed source. The young seedlings grow under the shelter of the trees that are left. Tops and branches on the ground provide shaded microclimates for the young trees, environments for wildlife big and small and eventually slowly return nutrients into the ground. One of the biggest problems with clearcuts is erosion and siltation of nearby streams. Good video as always!
Congrads on the I button!! And you know i love to see those axes come out of the ground.....Im an axe junkie!! Thanks for bringing us along. I love the possibility of colonial finds!!
I live in maine where 85% of the old growth forests have been logged so we cut tons of wood, and honestly either method is great if the crew cutting, takes the time to clean up the tops and branches. A clear cut also will go from nothing to, trees, in 2 yrs or less. See it all the time here
Hey Aqua - do you clean / showcase all the ax-heads/pick-heads/cannon balls you find at your home, if so could you make a video of them all showcased or are they such a common find that you just box and forget about them . I'm sorry I don't comment allot, but I do like every video you make, thank you, you have such great knowledge and insight of the things you find, I learned allot over the years from your channel.
As a custom maker of flintlocks, I would say that's a rifle ball which is much rarer. You don't use a cloth patch on muskets, just rifled barrels and a musket has a smooth bore and rifled muskets used minie balls as you walk know. Thanx for the video.
Sorry chigg, but clearcuts ARE extremely beneficial to the environment. That was not selective cutting. It’s called “high grading” where they only take the biggest and most expensive species and leave the junk for the “future forest”.
I just found these popped up out of nowhere looking for patsey cline videos these are cool but amazing how people lost coins and buttons in the middle of nowhere lol oh the stories get a shirt for the buttons that would be a great conversation starter 😅
Hey Chig, I was sitting here thinking to myself and you know what would be a cool experiment?? If you gathered 10 different kinds of soil then buried 1 copper 1 nickel and 1 silver in each pot to see how different soils effect coin toning and patina.. kind of a long process.. but it may be worth it in the long run. I thought long and hard about which channel I wanted to present this idea to.. and without a doubt, your excitement level, sense of humor, and mindful insight would offer the best experience.. what do you think?
Hey I was wondering if you were going to check out the roadkill cave again? I thought it was pretty cool and would like to see more of it if possible. I always enjoy your videos keep up the good work and keep them coming.
something you might want to remember (wonderhussy did a visit to deathvalley two sisters gravesite ---use to be a stage chouch stop .posted it a week ago on her youtube channel.)
That piece of tarp with the grommet was a flashback to Australia! At that Asian mining camp on an episode of "Chigg The Grommet Hunter" What was the total on those before you ignored the signal?👍

You always share so much more than metal detecting. So much to learn and not enough time. Thanks for taking us along.
IT'S TOD AND CHIGG AWSOME ITS MY FAVORITE GUYS 😁
I love how fascinated he is with everything he finds.
Every time you get on your belt buckle binge I picture all of these soldiers running around a battlefield with their pants down around their ankles.
Such an underrated comment 😂😂😭
Todd gets a gold star for wearing gloves, unlike a certain someone...looking at you Chigg.
I bought my son a Garrett Ace 300 as a surprise. He’s 7 and he loves your videos. Thank you so much for making them.
I definitely enjoy it more when you are digging in the dirt! Thanks for the lesson on finding a home site and I always appreciate your comments! Mike in sunny Florida

Oh. And it does have some building locations on it
Hi from Greece.Thank You for your videos!
Axe sledge valve ,you found a still house.
Love your videos Chigg. Most professional resource managers would disagree with your assessment about clear-cutting.
Love the hunt and love the treasures. Would enjoy sifting thru the ash piles and dirt for treasures. Thanks for sharing!
hey Todd and Chigg!! great video, you two do such a good job

Those ax heads would make killer bookends! Awesome!

Nice dig Beau and Todd... love the block I!
Your videos help me realize how much I needed to buy a Garrett at pro thanks Chigg
Spot that keeps on giving!
Man those hay rake tines sure make for nice Martin gourd hangers!
Another great video. Happy Hunting. 🤗
Love the looks Todd gives the Chigg when he finds something awesome. Also the giddiness they get when they find them😄
Keepin' us all happy during the "lockdown!"
Wonderful to see the digging knife, you don’t want Dr Lindsay to have to stitch you up again anytime soon!
Awesome eagle I button chigg! Lots of relics on this day!!

*Very good hunter, Forest is 10*
"Hold your ears".... haha, love it 😀

Great video budy ...your 'landreading' skills are expert level indeed 👍🏻👌🙌
That axe-pick will come in handy once it's been cleaned up and a handle added for your future excursions. A miniature style of pick of what you used over in Aussie country.
Great video, it's interesting digging through the history of a place!
Awesome! Cool finds!

The horses are looking over the predator that eats French horses!

Nice button Beau. Congrats!
The ring thing @17:45 looks like the top of a cooks kitchen weight.
Enjoyed your video as always. I enjoy Todd's videos also. Thanks for all y'all do.
Another great video , thanks Beau and Todd . Loved it.

I like the 1951 Dragnet intro cover
Good video and nice discoveries gentlemen.
Chig, Have you ever dug up someone from the past? A human skeleton dug up by accident?
Another great adventure you took us on!😻
I think that the thick piece of iron might have been a part of a leaf spring.
The all new and somewhat improved...... Equine Chigger.
The best one are the longest ones.👍
Great video loved the knowledge of the I button keep up the great work

Thank you so mutch for all your hard work man! You are just making one fantastic vid. after another. Love it!!
Thanks for another great video.
Haha! I found almost the same measuring cup last weekend. Rang up low 90's on the AT MAX.

Don't worry chigg we've been subscribed for years

Greetings from the international space station!
always good
Loved the long video. Had a great time.
It's so sad to see lead batteries dumped like that. It's not a *huge* deal but it's so unnecessary, and a damn shame.
Thanks for the videos!
Awesome!
No gloves, bad chig. Todd wears gloves, good Todd.
Todd gets a gold star!
I just found these popped up out of nowhere looking for patsey cline videos these are cool but amazing how people lost coins and buttons in the middle of nowhere lol oh the stories get a shirt for the buttons
that would be a great conversation starter 😅
lol right here is a layer of trash probably haha, that was a funny line

Chin, do you remember when the old mattresses had buttons holding the springs in place. Just thinking that you may be finding those
Hey I was wondering if you were going to check out the roadkill cave again? I thought it was pretty cool and would like to see more of it if possible. I always enjoy your videos keep up the good work and keep them coming.

Just looking at the walls you were showing makes you wonder just how long it would have taken to build that..
Eagerly anticipating your next video DUUUUUUUDE 🤣

25:00 Horse
Spent more time around horses not getting injured, than getting injured. like 99.9999% not getting hurt.
