This is the first song I heard from Infinite around 2012 - 2013, I liked the song so much that I looked for a performance and loved the choreography, I immediately searched for the whole group and I've been a fan of Infinite since then xD
Same for me, it was in 2013 and I was studying for my philosophy exam (yes I remember ^^), I put some random kpop playlist and when Paradise poped out it was like love at first hear ^^
This is the song that sounded the most INFINITE and for me, the lyrics, the melody, the vocals, the choreography and everything about this song showcases what INFINITE is made of. Yeah The Chaser was the game changer but of me Paradise is their best song. Many inspirit might have not realized but when I first listened to this song, I got so emotional because it was so unique and an art on its own. The falsetto part (not sure if that is what it is) just perfectly harmonized.
something wild that always gets me, and I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but during this era and new emotions, woohyun was still recovering from surgery for cancer. he had a rare gastrointestinal cancer, was operated on and was still recovering. He mentioned it when he did his solo cb baby baby, saying that his breathing and vocals still weren't back to what they were before. genuinely i think he's one of kpop's true badasses (especially the rock version of Bad from those concerts where he was throwing out extra high notes left and right). legend right there
ohhh slightly, I think someone just said he was recovering from surgery is all, they might have mentioned it was cancer, but to be fair, I can barely remember what I had for breakfast so its more likely I just forgot haha
@@Killdeer25 haha same honestly. I have to recommend that solo cb because it's extremely peppy and upbeat and given everything he went through last year, it's amazing he could come through and put that out. Also gotta plug some of the other solos, like Sunggyu 'Small Talk', and Woohyun 'Rain'. And they finally released a vocal subunit song together, Infinite V 'Beautiful' which thankfuckfully wasn't a ballad. The solos are very worth checking out!
This is my song, they have so many songs that I like but this is the most significant because it was the one that made me want to meet them, know a little more about them, it is the beginning of my 11 years being a fan of them, I thank you very much for take the time to react to their songs
I really love the mv of this song. You could get the melody's voice's full but restrained? sorrow in that mv. There's no choreo but there's story which contains the mv director's interpretation of the song. I personally think it's really hard to do this kind of dark and emotional songs with perfect amount of emotion in their voices and performances..?? and that's the specialty of Infinite and what i like about the members most i guess. While the leader sungkyu drops to his knees, you can hear the drum? sound like heart beat in the background. The choreo of other memebers describe(?) that heartbeat sound and i like to think this part with btd's heavy breath sound and choreo😊 haha This video was a live broadcasting thing which wasn't by directors with lots of experience with kpop choreos or Infinite's choreo i guess.. anyway you could hear that beautiful flute? and string sounds a lot clearer and louder in mv or backtime stage performances. That flute is sooo amazing and enticing indeed
I absolutely love this comment, you absolutely nailed every single thing here, and its those small details that really bring the genius of their music writing, this is exactly why Infinite has become one of my ult groups!!
Yes! That Bee Gees style harmony during the chorus is a blessing to the ears! I also want to shout out the electric guitar finishing the first chorus, as well as the song's compelling rhythm.
I can never choose a favorite, most representative Infinite song and Paradise is *THE* one of multiple reasons why. XD the studio version also has this retro flute synth fluttering over the verses and it sounds really good (I think it's still here in this live mix, just less noticeable).
@@Rubys_Rouge they mention in a variety show that Dong Woo write the rap line, all of them is abt sexual and when the lyric was explain by L it's became darker =))))))) U can search the English translation of Paradise. DW said it's from his experience made ppl laught even more

I love the electric guitars part here, this song really is so good
Ha ha! I was thinking Bee Gees the whole time too! Glad I'm not the only one here old enough to know that!

Yeah. I was about to say, I don't think I noticed that solo here, probably real quiet
Love this song miss all my Infinite guys so happy to see them again, thank you for nice reactions lm happy😍
thank you! I think they are quite awesome!
Ooh I really loved this one!
right? I really liked this one too
Fun fact: there's mensions of alcool during DongWoo's rap, they had to censor it for TV music shows, so they replaced the word alcool by water hahaha.
haha! really?
And if you know the story of DongWoo’s rap line 😂😂😂
@@simpledailylife14 what's the story? I don't remember.
