I am primarily a rafter as opposed to a kayaker. I purchased the Kokatat Legacy drysuit a couple of years ago, and I absolutely love it. It is an ideal drysuit for all cold water activities, and it is especially good for rafters. In fact, I would say that if you are a rafter (as opposed to a kayaker), this drysuit is your best choice. I had a swim while rafting through the Class V Boulder Drop rapid on the Skykomish River (water temperature about 40F) in Washington at high water a year ago, and I stayed perfectly dry under the suit throughout the swim.
