Poor young lady didn't deserve to be murdered. I don't know why he thought he would get away with the murder. Thank you for researching and sharing. ☃️🎄☃️
Thank you! 🙏Wish we knew for sure what the motivation was. With the scratches on his face, she put up a good fight! The amount taken was neglible - we do not believe it was purely money. As far as we can find, his confession was never released.🤔
Poor Miss Bradfield!! The perpetrator of her death took GREAT efforts to make sure she was NOT discovered!! Unfortunately for him, she was!! Miss Bradfield sounded like a lady ahead of her time!! How many females were managing companies during that time period, even family businesses?! What a shame her life was cut short!! You are a BRILLIANT storyteller, Robin!! BRAVO to you and your FANTASTIC team!! 💞👍🌟👏❤
Thank you so much Nadia! We so appreciate your kind comment and wonderful support!🙏There were not many manageresses in general - that would have been quite elite! She did work her way up, but there was of course a family connection. The confession information was not released as far as we can see - only the information that he had confessed to the crime. Poor Eltoft! He looked like a child! 7 years prison for being in the worng place at the wrong time - harsh!🤔
@newsofthetimes I know!! Young Eltoft shouldn't have been punished!! He had absolutely NO IDEA what was going on!! I wonder what happened to him afterwards?! I hope he found some happiness in life!!🤔🤔
R.C. and team l thank you all for your hard work putting out these videos for us to enjoy. This was a very sad case. And leaves us asking "why did he/they do it ?" I just can't get my mind around it. As far as the 2nd story I'm at a loss for words. Did they dasacrate a body as a joke?did they sell it to a shady Dr? Or did a newspaper just make up a story to sell more papers? Who's ever heard of such a thing 🤔. As we count down the last week till Christmas l wish you all a happy Christmas and hope father Christmas is good to you all ☕️🫖🍫🥃 Take Care
Agreed - it was a very sad case. 😔The original thought was that it had bene lust related, this was then followed by that it was for money. The money missing was neglible, but there seems no question he did it. The confession to his priest was never released, so we just don't know.🤔As for the second story ... as hardened researchers, we do so enjoy when we come across the quite weird!🙏Not sure why the papers would make it up - it was a msall story and there was no follow up as far as we could see. People are strange?😉 Thank you for your kind wishes! 🙏We will be doing a series of stories from Christmas's past on the Chronicle channel - some if it quite heart warming. 🎅❄️🎄
Further Particulars does not come as a surprise to me. 😂 My father was born in Arkansas and he told me (1970s) many funny stories about the area. Thank you!
Hullooooo Panama! 🙋♂️We have not had the opportunity to visit your beautiful country, but we have heard many times that we should! Tyank you so much for your kind comment and kind support!🙏
Thank you! We are really fortunate to have a wonderful researcher who not only uncovers interesting stories, but writes fairly good scripts!😁 I am merely "the voice"😉
Sad story for whatever reason she was murdered. Not sure if the young man was innocent or not. Interesting stories. Thank you for all of your efforts to bring these stories to light.
This was a "heartbreaking," case of a young working woman who was horrifically murdered for no apparent reason. I'm thrilled that the main perpetrator was given the ultimate justice in this heinous crime. Do you know whatever happened to the other young man who was acquitted? Great investigating, presenting, backstory, illustrations, photos and videos, as well. Take care 🦋
Thank you!🙏Yes, Eltoft was given seven years! The judge stated he thought there was no question that eh knew something was not right, but we are not convinced. We think he was just super young and in the wrong place. terrible murder of the woman and it is somehow worse that he referred to her as "rubbish". It is that comment alone which makes us think that there had been a lust angle involved. Also terrible the involvement of a youth. Not sure what seven years would have done to him.😔

My 66 year old spinster sister has eyebrows like George Sumner - A bit too Joan crawford, to me 🤷🏻♀️
😁Ummm, they are a bot attack eyes, arent they?👁️👁️We do not have any pictures of him with the eyebrows shaved off as a disguise sadly🤔
