Try the Toni Iommi trick too, set your distortion to your liking (a fuzz sounds great), turn on the wah, swing to a nice position and leave it there for all your rythm parts
My favorite use of wah is from Kevin cadogan of original third eye blind lineup. He slowly swept it for clean ethereal parts and worked it more aggressively for the nodes n peaks in heavier leads - but I don't believe he used any chorus vibrato flanger phaser stuff it was pretty much wah and echo to create ultimate lushness- guitar master Kevin cadogan.
3eb's first album is a masterpiece. Cadogan's guitar work is sublime. I watched a video yesterday about the Blue album how they all voted for the songs that would go on the album and Wounded almost didn't make it except Kevin pushed for it hard. Can't even imagine Blue without Wounded.
@@ASHASHLESS me too, I couldn't imagine those first two without him but I have to admit I really like the third album a lot and feel like Tony did a solid job on guitar work. Kevin deserves a lot more credit and a lot more opportunities to tell his story.
Bro te olvidaste de Zappa !!! el el armo y le regalo a Hendrix su primer pedalera y si tienes tiempo escuchalo a Zappa y entenderas su increible habilidad para combinar sonidas con el pedal y acoples...
Waht a great video, always wahnt more wah. I got the mc404 cae , I dig it, I like the sound of that jam too but they are pretty pricey. I have other pedals but I'm seriously content with amp distortion (valve state 8100 atm) and a good Wah. Chains get so long, or there's always that one pedal that sucks your tone and that's not cool personally. Anyone out there effectively use two wahs in theyr chain? LoL just curious

This is what I'm looking for. Excellently explained and played. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
what a monster player. chunky tone from a little fender too.
What’s insane is I didn’t even realize he was playing a tele til the end not to mention this guy is a fantastic player
Great tips, great playing. Didn’t expect to get as many ideas as I did.
Great video! My favorite wah player is Kim Thayil of Soundgarden and 3rd Secret, he does amazing psychedelic solos with his signature wah sound.
Just what I needed (sure the wife will be delighted 🤣). That’s my weekend sorted. 🎸📺👍
Rock on!
JD Simo's Rise & Shine is full of amazing wah moments.
Great video - and I have the very same Pearl drum stool - cool!! Greetings from Canada.
Damn . Really good guitar skills. Finally someone using other scales/ notes other than the blues / demo guitar sounds.
Great instructional video love it. I almost lost over to the next one but I'd said to give it a try. I'm glad I did. A plus plus
Wah pedals are best use for Rock/Heavy metal and most genres it made it's awesome sound
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Say What ! is one of my fav wah wah songs

Awesome vid
Excelente video, no es uno más del montón sino que se destaca porque tiene información útil.

I do that
He hit us with bulls on parade fire 🔥
great video... (insert obligatory Kirk Hammett joke)
Instead of saying "Don't over use it' he should of just said "Don't Kirk Hammett it." We would've understood it LOL!!
@@msmoniz you mean don’t jimi it,but as sloppy as he was it was needed
Wow, I had no idea. So many great players.
niceee video
I've had my Crybaby classic for 10 years and use it every gig!
My favorite wah' I'm on my 3'rd one in the last 8 years.
Ahhh the good ol Wah....wawa wa wa wa..🎸
Great tips!
Glad you like them!
Thats super funky @ 3:14!!🎸 If it has no reverb i would sample it... Outstanding riff!

Very well presented, thank you!

I love my Jam wah with the seagull effect..get you a hand wired Jam wah
‘Great teaching here ‘!!!🎉😂🇺🇸🍉
Nice amp.
look at what these wah pedals need to mimic a fraction of a phaser's power
I like how you said don't over use it, so in other words don't be a Kirk Hammet haha
'The last thing I'd like to mention..is to not overuse it' Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Try and tell Kirk Hammett that!
Best Wah Master is by far Joe Satriani❤
No wah face? This guy must be a robot, or alien.
Riff at 1:58. Please help me place it.
The Only Guitar I Have Is An Epiphone Acoustic Guitar, PR-150/N.
wha is a bandpass filter, not a high cut like the tone knob

Yes
Ooh i LOVE a bit o' DIY! ;oP (ONLY choice I have unfortunately! )
It's hard to find a good fast reacting wah. So many I've tried have a muffled slow response sound to them. Never tried a jam though.
You have to use It swing timed, if you push, pull at the same time of the rytmh you nullify the effect
👏
2:06 music name please…😢
SHAFT!
Wah is more than just "Tsamina mina, eh, eh
Waka waka, eh, eh"...
almost halo 4:10
Charlie Browns Parents ...
Are you just playing the wahs or Advertising the Wahs, Why the two different pedals ??????
Wah not?
It's amazing how people keep making the same videos every year over and over again 😂
Dudes kept Chuck 2s living for too long
