Fasusi is going to be an absolute STUD. With the Arbuckle hire, don’t be surprised to see this program competing for SEC chips in the next few seasons. We are just fine
I agree 💯 Not All of it was his fault. But I'm glad they are moving on. I wish Jackson the best but I just don't want Oklahoma to run it back one more year with him.
There’s so much more you can do with Hopkins at quarterback and Jackson with the scheme we’re running. I think Hopkins does a really good job and not turning the ball over and if you can do that, you can win a lot of games but I do appreciate Jackson Arnold. He’s been through a lot this year. I hope the best for him Hawkins 🏈. QB 1.
We thought JA was QB1 but his confidence shattered in the Tennessee game and it went downhill from there, same goes for Hawkins, I don't think he is QB1 either. Hopefully Mateer follows Arbuckle? Jet Niu fits into OC Arbuckle offencive scheme.
Jay, your audio always only comes out of my left ear, while other people's audio comes out both fine. Might look in to that lol. Good stuff as always though.
I think Jackson is a great qb. Had a bad oc and line play was horrible. Also had no one to pass to. Big loss for us. Hate the damn portal and what the game has turned into.
I'd say 100% chance that Mateer is a Sooner, unless there's a better fit out there. Good to see everyone signed their letters too... Jay, I just love my Sooners, man. I wish JA the best with a great team. He just wasn't right for us...
Have we heard anything about the training staff? They need to be evaluated as well... The fact we had so many guys hurt and NOT comeback should be being looked at... what is our rehabilitation program like? Why cant someone recover from a pulled hamstring in a month or 2 like most do as opposed to a whole 8+ months. Why isnt a guy ready after having knee surgery and getting his knee drained multiple times? Why hadnt he been strengthening that knee? Jalil broke his freaking foot and camback before Nic Anderson who pulled his hamstring.... make that make sense. Jacob sexton, Jake Taylor, Josh Bates, all never cameback and when they did they just got reinjured... The training staff needs to be evaluated and upgraded as well because they hurt this team this year by not having our hurt guys ready to play. As a Trainer/medical staff, your job is to get them out of your room and back on that field quickly and healthy as soon as possible...
I think it’s a fair concern and I’m sort of with you, but we also have to ask why it was mostly WR and to a lesser extent the OL. It’s not like the defense, TE, QB, or RB room have different medical staff.
Your sample size of QBs who left to become great is 1 (Dillon Gabriel). Funny thing about that example, is OU took Gabriel from UCF when he was a fairly low prospect and turned him into what it took to send him off. Even then, it’s impossible to say if Gabriel is actually better or if he just has a more complete team, but that’s a moot point for now.
Doesn't matter Arnold gone .people need to quit pointing fingers bla bla .Oklahoma will rebuild get better we have some good talent offense and defense and for quarterback Oklahoma need two they will find .look at Oklahoma state thier going to rebuild and get better .better to respect your team and support goes a long way .
@ yes with ONE top 25 opponent and win in Army lol. They’d lose to Bama, Oregon, TOSU, Texas, Georgia, even overrated Miami. Imagine if they had Florida or Oklahoma schedule. Only Texas has no “quality wins” since aTm fell out ranks. Notre dames is Army
No ill will towards JA here. Neither he nor his coaches here were worth much so I’m glad he is moving on. Just wish BV would’ve had a set of balls and fired everyone offensively. BV is looking to be a disaster.
Hope you like your 3 star transfer from WSU who couldn’t win in the weakest “division” of college football. OU ruined Arnold’s career! OU is new QB dumpster fire… no longer QB U! Best of luck to you Jackson Arnold
I'm sorry but none of these Wr are going to make a big impact next year. The state of Oklahoma never produces great WR talent. Like an Alabama of Louisiana. . Also Trent will be a good player but ain't no 260 to 270 DL in the SEC is causing top Sec competition a big problem. Perhaps 2 yrs down the road. I hope I'm wrong but these guys are not going to be impactful next yr
In Order… CeeDee Lamb, Dede Westbrook, Mark Andrews, Hollywood Brown, Ryan Broyles, Sterling Shepard, Kenny Stills, Mark Clayton, Jermaine Gresham… it keeps going. I’ve got time
JA is a class act. Wish him the best of everything going forward. Thanks for everything.
@@kennethwatson4489 He was a sorry-ass loser! Statistically the WORST Quarterback in D1! Glad to see him go!

I wish you the best young man see you on down the road
Happy about all the commits. Shoutout to DBs and O-line.

i feel Hawk desserves to start the bowl game. Even if we land a transfer... he was dealt a terrible hand as well. we gotta right that wrong
Who else is going to start? Literally, who? Casey lol 😂
Now that JA has entered the portal, Hawkins is the automatic QB1.
@@theSparkyWatts😂
yall down here acting like we cant and arent prolly getting a qb out the portal
@ he can’t play bowl game but 💯 we are getting someone good but needs to be a competitive spirit and drive him and Hawkins
Jackson Arnold is a class act and he will be very successful at whatever school he lands at.
Ja was a Big 12 qb ,we need a Sec qb,
I am hopeful OU will be better next season. It was pretty bad this year.
Good to see Jackson is moving on. He did not seem to have it at OU. NOT all his fault. Good luck to Jackson.

While that is true, no excuse for the inaccurate throws, terrible reads and inexplicable fumbles. He needs a fresh start. Wish him the best
I think hollenbeck is 6’4 we got a diamond in the rough out of him. Dudes film is crazy.

People are saying Littrel ruined JA. I see it the other way around.
Kind of funny how the last decade quarterbacks transferred to Oklahoma to become great and in this decade quarterbacks leave Oklahoma to become great.

Then I’d no longer wish him the best of luck…🤷🏼♂️

Nope
