That skirt is SO CUTE! Loved seeing your Sunday routine. & I agree with what you said about God and politics… our identity in Christ is most important. When people stress about politics or elections, I remind myself that God has already written this and knows what will happen, & that he is still on the throne regardless of what happens here on earth.🩵

I so agree with you that our Christianity should overrule politics! Your video is so timely as I’ve been struggling in getting my 16 year-old puppy to eat her food. She’s only been eating less than half of what she typically eats. So I’ve been adding chicken to her food. I thought brown rice would be good for her too, but she turned her nose up. I’m going to try a recipe like yours and see how it goes. Wish me luck!

Hi, so happy to see you. I’ve been feeling the same way about politics and remembering that I am a Christ follower first. I’ve been feeding my dog nearly the same homemade food. It is nice knowing exactly what our fur babies are eating. I feel like it has made him less gassy. Thanks for sharing!

We have the EspressoWorks espresso machine. Its simple and affordable!

Raw food diet is great for the pups. I’ve always used primal. 😊
Hi Cara-good to see y’all again! I know your days are really busy as I remember when my boys were little I had limited time to do things other than cleaning and cooking and spending time with my boys, lol. I really enjoyed this one because of the homemade dog food because my 15-year-old dachshund was just diagnosed with elevated liver enzymes, so we’re cutting out people food, well okay, maybe just a tiny bit every now and then-ha! So we have to give her a liver supplement for 30 days, then revisit the liver enzymes through another blood test. I read up on things and I, too, am making ground turkey with carrots and broccoli and use it was a topper for her science diet kibbles-hopefully we can get her lab for that (everything else was normal) back to where she should be! Also I just read an article that said those Wi-Fi plugs ( we use them to turn our lights off and on while we’re away at work etc) have been shown to emit a very high frequency that our pets can hear but we can’t, and have been shown to possibly cause elevated liver enzymes! I have to research this further but in the meantime we have unplugged them to see. Who knows? Lol-it’s worth a try for us. Thank you for doing another great video-and I’m gonna try the Chobani creamer.❤

Love seeing a video from you! Thanks for more book recommendations, will definitely have to check out the rose code. I usually just use organic half and half and maple syrup or honey in my coffee instead of a coffee creamer if you don’t want to buy a creamer, I find that works out just fine and you can make it as creamy or sweet as you want! Try just for dogs diy kit to add the vitamins and supplements in to make it a balanced meal. There also a TH-cam channel called ‘paws of prey’ if you decide to try a raw diet I found her channel helpful and informative.
How exciting you’ll start to notice a different in the fur and the amount of pops you have to clean 😉
So happy to see your sweet face! ☺️Where I grew up, they didn’t change time…but everyone around us did. We had 3 different time zones within a 2 hour driving area…it was soooo confusing! You should read A THOUSAND BOY KISSES. Such a sweet (& sad) story. 📕

Love to see you feeding Ace healthier food! Although I will say you may want to add more diversity in his meals or even just use canned food and skip kibble altogether. Raw feeding is an excellent diet for dogs, but you need to add supplements to their bowls. I fed my dog a raw diet and it changed everything about her in such a positive way!

Love your content always!! There are a few things to research more on with Aces diet. Don’t fall into all the “your dog is a wolf” fad that has been happening. I was a vet technician before I came home full time to raise my babies and I can tell you there is a lot that goes into dog food that isn’t in fruits and veggies and meat. You would be better off sticking with a dog food that has a vet on staff who specializes in dog nutrition. We have seen so many dogs in our clinic over the last 15 years or more who have had serious health issues due to these new fad diets for dogs. Science diet, Iams, purine pro plan, are all foods with a vet who specializes in nutrition. And I know those are the brands all the “healthy” dog food companies say to avoid but it’s not true. Dogs need a lot more than fruit and veggies and meat. Sorry this is so long I just really don’t want you to get into a bad situation with Ace because of the marketing these “ Healthy” dog food companies or bloggers put out to make them sound better. A lot of heart problems especially with large breed dogs and the new so called healthy foods have links and research has proof. Just thought you might want a little insight from someone in the animal world. But if not sorry for my comment and ignore it. And don’t hate me because I love y’all’s family ❤❤ ps I’m from Michigan too 😁

I'm definitely open to suggestions too... especially from someone who has more experience than me in this area! We will do our best to make sure Ace is getting all the proper nutrients etc. that he should be and definitely modify things if he is needing more than what we've been giving him! :)
I read the rose code when you recommended it. I have gone on to read all of her books. They are amazing. If you love historical fiction, you might want to try Jennifer Cheverini!

Wow Quinn’s hair is SO long, love seeing all of you and I agree wholeheartedly about being a Christian first and foremost above the political stuff. I am a conservative but politics do not dictate my beliefs or things I support…the Bible does.

Cara have you read the book by Rifqa called hiding in the light? I think you really enjoy it sense your a Christian. It's a real story and you can just feel the Lord all around you when you read it. We're doing well, thank you for asking! My youngest is about to turn one and it's crazy how much she's learning and growing. She just wants to play with her older sister and cousin. 😅
