I totally agree the “chad” ones look fun but they also look super easy without personality and this sketch has tons of emotion in it so I agree on him doing more of these.

I have watched this sketch five times over just because I am so excited that SNL is breaking away from type casting Pete as a supporting teenager role. We always see him playing a dumb kid or a son and obviously he does so well with that type of role, but he's also capable of so much more and I am beyond excited that now that's becoming recognized. Yay :)
Maybe he did genuinely break. But, in this case, it works. He's not hiding it from the audience. He's laughing that Santa is going to kill Comet, but has to cover it up so Santa doesn't see.
This is probably the first SNL video I actually wanted to replay. Between the quality comedy and Pete Davidson looking like a snack, this was awesome! It really showed off Pete’s comedic ability.
