Weber turns his body to achieve that high backswing. This takes away from your effective hooking roll and angle. Your most effective way of imparting a hook is to have your body square at the target line and a relaxed wrist that allows you the greatest flexibility in forming an angle to the target at release.

weber is definately going down hill ...you can tell he has more top spin and not the "voodoo side roll" that he was famous for when he was younger
