@@alejandrom. Fair enough. Something to consider is one's mindset going into a match, are you playing for fun, moderately tryhard, or in the top 1% of players? Kripp's has thorough experience in the battlegrounds; so we can trust that most competitive to top 1% of players will have some issue taking extra damage by killing more opposing cards than if they had a weaker board. If the goal of just about any game is to win, why would one ever hope to get stomped? Hoping to not kill enemy cards defeats the purpose of the game, therefore it should be nerfed or removed.

i'm asking this question almost every single time i watch a kripp video and the only answer i can come up with is: NA
Because everyone push agressive cards and builds to survive early game and play more cautiously. So if you up level to early and buy cards to scale everyone gonna omegablast you.

I got my first bg 1st with illidian.
He needs the right cards in order for his hero power to work well.
Like, imagine poisonous, divine shield, windfury murloc, that will often take out 4 of your opponent's units before they're able to do anything, or a guaranteed mega windfury zapps.
The most spawns I got as rafaam in one match was 11.

I had the simplest but most effective build that I came across and it has literally zero base stats.
Goldrinn on left side. Taunted Golden Goldrinn on right side.
Two hydras on the 2nd and 3rd slot. Golden rat on 4th. Golden hyena on 5th. Baron on 6th.
Went uncontested for 6 rounds once I established it and never buffed any of the minions.
1:40 ish he said "He has never seen someone doing it (Illidan Deathrattle strat)" However he actually has seen it before in one of the previous videos where someone used illidan to directly let these 2 deathrattle beasts die and said "uuuh interesting". I like the strategy a lot.

9:45. The egg will attack with 0 attack with Illadin hero power. I tested it the other day lol
That Illidan pick wasn't random. If you don't have a hero highlighted then it gives you one at random. But if you do have one highlighted, you will get that hero when the time runs out.
I think a good balanced illidan would be the same hero power but +1 atack (the left and right only). So you have a better early (i don't thing he has a good early game. and it's super important the early) and the same late

If you could try getting some Zappi bois, then putting them on the sides. You wold prob need Argus to make them taunt, then buff them so they dont die on there first arounds of attack.
How about this setup for illidan (idealy all golden right its kripp luck): goldrinn, hydra, hydra, hydra, coiler, baron, goldrin

I like ilidan a lot but you need a lot of optimization for him to work out.
If you select one and dont pick hit confirm, you will get that hero, no randomness....

So yesterday I gave battlegrounds a try after not playing hearthstone since old gods. I was wondering what a decent rating is in the battlegrounds. I started out at 4000 points and after about 2 hours I'm at 5000 which is where I am rn.

8-10k are the Best players, youre in the middle, keep going!
2 hrs to gain 1000 points? That's at least 9 first places in a row. Each game takes like 30 mins
