      I already have that figured out. The 4-stroke engine is faster, so the tracks got faster.
      It is the typical type of dysfunction that happens every time some dictator government entity, (the EPA in this case), tells us what to make and what to buy. Oh yea,---the cost of the product goes up a lot too. We don't learn it in school, but it is called economic fascism when an industry used government for a club to destroy new or existing competition, but it is called communism when government tells us what to make and buy. We sure don't have control of that any more, and free people created every industry in the first place. So the bikes had to get faster to push out the 2-stroke, and of course, more people get hurt. They don't care. I will even bet that some of these bad head hits, that left racers walking dizzy, should not have been racing the next weekend. So I don't see any concussion protocol that is talked about as if it exists.

    Amazing that RJ was good enough to be a pro in baseball and had to pick between riding or being an MLB star . Man , that's a very very difficult choice . I would have probably opted to choose baseball .

    • @EarthSurferUSA
      @EarthSurferUSA 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      IMO, the more moral choice is actually the sport based on the individual. Now I liked to play several team sports too, but when you play in a team, you all play for each other. On its face, that seems innocent, I know. But communism is based on the same philosophy, "the good for the all", and I have a moral problem with that. That is why team sports are now played in school almost exclusively, with a possibility to get rich and spread political propaganda, while wrestlers make no money and get no fame. Here is what I experienced 48 years ago at 10 years old. I just moved to a rural area and met new friends a mile or more down the road, (we bought little dirt bikes a lot back then, like the Yamaha mini-enduro 60), and i joined a fast pitch baseball league with them. I never swung a bat a a t-ball before, so I could not hit a thing, lol. But that is not the story even if our Pitcher could not be hit, (he did not pursue it). I was sitting in the bleachers one day at a tournament, waiting between our games, and to old Grand fathers were sitting on the bench behind me, and I can hear them talking. "That kid stole second base after the first base coach told him not to." (said the first guy). "Oh no no no, you never go against the coach." (said the second guy). But the kid made it. Maybe he does not need a coach, even as a 11 year old kid?
      I will never forget that. I do not agree with the philosophy. I didn't agree with it then, and I don't agree with it now. So after that series, I just rode.
      Play the game and have fun. Just realize that it is not a model for a society of individual liberty. it is a model that communism loves---and you play for the state,--not yourself. That is why you see the professional political propaganda from major team sports today.
      Just saying. Deeper than we realize.

    • @seaeff6428
      @seaeff6428 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be fair. He didn’t really get to pick between being an “MLB star” he was scouted by teams and could’ve chose to get drafted, but the MLB drafts over 600 people every year. Maybe 10% of them make it to the show (big league) realistically RJ probably would have play high A, AA, if he was extremely lucky played some AAA, and if all the stars aligned and everything worked perfect best case scenario sign a 10 day contract in the MLB. It’s really an easy decision as right off the bat riding for Geico Honda he made more money in that year than he likely would have in his entire baseball career.

    • @seaeff6428
      @seaeff6428 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EarthSurferUSA Please shut up. You make my brain hurt. Teams sports are communism….. lol. It’s not built on the same model. If you actually think about it, sports are more capitalistic than anything, acquiring talent to build the best possible team to make the most money.
      Comparing a “team” to a economical structure is so dumb. You’re what 60 years old and single commenting all day on MX videos attempting to spread some “knowledge” on various political topics. It’s MX leave it at that you clown.

    Jett is great but he needs to work on his starts. He would have most likely won the night if he didn't start around 8th in every moto. The one good start he had the race got red flagged.
    This also wasn't a very good track for passing. You could see it particularly in the 450s where half way through each race everyone settled into follow the leader and that was the finishing order.
    Not trying to make excuses for Jett. He really wrecked himself trying to make a pass where there was no room to pass. That's that lack of patience we've seen from him before and it's a product of bad starts. He's really gotta do something about this because when he goes up against guys he can't pull 2 seconds a lap on and he spots them 8 positions it will be a lot tougher to win.

    • @EarthSurferUSA
      @EarthSurferUSA 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      "This also wasn't a very good track for passing. You could see it particularly in the 450s where half way through each race everyone settled into follow the leader and that was the finishing order."
      None of the track are good for passing when the top ten are on the same second, (all the same speed basically on these tracks). It does happen a lot that as soon as they get sorted out after 10 laps, and get 2 seconds between them, if no mistakes are made, the passing pretty much stops for the top ten, (who I have been keeping track of.).
      After lap 10 or 12, not always, but it often turns into a parade. Of course that is going to happen when the tracks keep everybody the same speed. Sans mistakes, it will happen more. For about half of the races, you can leave the stadium after lap 12, and beat the traffic out of the 1/5th filled parking lot, because the race is over.
