Yeah! It’s the air filter, tubeless tires and cruise control. I’m 75 YO now. Am I ever going to see it in my lifetime? There are some aftermarket fixes but they void warranty. Come on guys get it together. Another $1000 or 2 would not stop me getting what we all want.
@@delmarrey9077 I feel you on that and I am watching the situation closely. Just for the record, I'm also a Jeep fan and I'm watching the issues with Stelantis closely. However, I drive a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and I'm not in the market for a Jeep. I am in the market for a new ADV bike and by new I mean Icould easily catch a low mileage, used one and be happy. The Honda feels really really good sitting on it but I haven't taken a test ride and there is that air filter access issue. I'm also very interested in the 790 adventure KTM model. I've sat on 890rs and they're just too tall. I'm not going to be going super aggressive off-road on a 450 to 500 lb bike. That 790 adventure model has the options that I want. Number one being cruise control. I've also toured Coast to Coast on a triumph Bonneville and at the time I wanted more dirt road capability. This means I've also been in the American West and that Rock solid Honda reliability looks like a pretty good option. Not seriously considering the Yamaha because I need long distance road comfort.
Totally agree. I love my 2024, and would gladly give up the stock quick shifter for factory electric cruise control. I'll wait until the next revision, surely Honda will add more bits then.
I confirm everything, few people talk about the filter, I heard people who travel in North Africa, sud africa, deserts etc who clean the filter every 2 days, how do you do it with the Transalp? Thats crazy! And why i have to spend 500$ to transform into tubeless? why not cruise? Put it as optional but put it!
OK clearly you don't understand. I ride Laos and Cambodia dirt and no issues. Placement of your air filter is key. Those with a filter under their seat sucking rear tire air and dirt must clean their filter really fast but with the high front air intake and cowling the Honda gets very little dirty air and will need a new filter at 15-20, 000 kms. Relax 😊 Secondly a tubeless conversion is DIY and less than a $100. You clearly just talking without ever actually doing in your comments.
The original never had CC & Tubeless! If that’s so important just go aftermarket or purhase the AT… Deal with it… This is Hondas legendary, bulletproof, budget, multipurpose & middlewight machine. Its an awesome motorcycle concept that has stood the test of time and XL750 is the best version yet. Why not adress the real issues: 1. Airfilter access. 2. No fully adjustable Suspension. 3. No DCT. 4. Low Muffler. 5. Electronic flaws. 6. No Wingbadge. 7. No adjustable Windscreen. 8. No gps mounting bar. 9. No suspended break & gear lever. Any Air Temprature indicator yet ? Any Milage to Empty indicator yet ? The Power Of Dreams ❤
I only slightly prefer the new headlight. The new update is unsurprisingly disappointing. I wouldn’t trade the prior model in quite yet. Honda will probably update again around 2027-28. Hopefully they include a NAV BAR! like the NX500 has.
if it does come to the states i dont think i will upgrade from the current model not enough has changed or improved for me to see that as a worthwhile purchase while i can just add more onto my current model for less
I think that the 2025 Transalpine is beautiful, however, being that I'm in the USA and we only get Black and some other things that the European get that we don't makes me feel as though Honda doesn't "REALLY"care about the USA market, we get the bike and missing some of the things offered everywhere else. The European and other markets get the colors and the performance while the US market basically is on the last teat.
with the value per dollar some other brands, namely CFmoto, are putting out HONDA is going to have to do more. I was almost a buyer but they have left things out and done certain things that completely kill any chance of a sale for me. Change just a few things and this would have been easily the most popular 'adventure' bike.
I couldn't care about the rest of its flaws but that air filter access is the big deal breaker. Honda sucks they don't listen to consumers just do whatever they want.
Not a big deal. A ride a CB650F and similar design. Never been a problem and I have ridden Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand which can be very wet and dusty. Relax. You'll be happier if you ever need ride in thigh deep water like we do here in rainy season 😊
Obviously disappointed that there's no tubeless option. Bad move from Honda. Headlight looks better, but not as good as the AT. What I find worrying after watching this video, is that the gray model in the stock photos looks so much different (better) than the EICMA footage. The stock photos look like silvery gray. The footage looks like dull primer paint. What's with that?
regarding cruise control: I guess something is wrong on the official websites. for example on the Austrian website ->A2 version = cruise control yes, A version = no info about it that does not make any sense I guess it won't have cc in the upcoming year
And yet the Transalp 750xl ECU is Cruise Control capable since first modelo lunch... As proven by the aftermaket kits for it... So the question remains if the ECU is capable why dont Honda sell it? To do not cannibalize África Twin sales... the same as the tubeless rims..."ah but the bike is for off road" so is the África Twin and all AT lineup got tubeless rims from 2024 onwards... Honda is shooting in her own foot as sales fly away to Kove, Voge, cfmoto, Benelli, BMW and others...
After testing both, especially DCT, I would go now for the E-clutch! Why? For safety reasons, for the riding experience and for the weight difference (5 Kg less for E-clutch).
Because you just ride roads because if yoh actually took the bike off roaring the last thing you would want is tuned. Easily converted to tubeless for a under $100. No big deal
Simple DIY add on for $100.sheesh.no such thing as a unicorn bike and certainly not at this price point. People need get real. Almost everything I read moaners complain about can be easily remedied.
AI generated TH-cam videos are funny ... clearly no post generation editing done by human with all the repeated audio content. Anyway, nice Adventure Tourer motorcycle. Heard there are already tubeless + cruise control options added to Honda sites. Now for the price ...
I bought a fake bag for kislux . I would not spend that money on a real bag. I would rather put the money in the bank. I really appreciate this video. Thanks!
What an interesting topic! I used to buy fake stuff in high school because I simply couldn't afford what I wanted. It's desirable, and if I can get what I want from a kislux for a few dozen bucks, sure, why not?

Despite my interest in this model, Honda seems determined to drive me into ktm's arms.
@ the problem is that KTM is possibly going into bankruptcy. Otherwise I’d be looking at them too.

Oil sight glass, this is just a failure of a model.
No TT, no CC, no sale. Come on Honda…..start listening to the consumer.
Perhaps it will come up as optionals

A ten dollar add on is the nav bar if that's important. 😂

Love the gloss white. If the US gets this one, I may jump on it. Still like the blue T7 also.
There is alway a sticker option afterwards, you can use some decals

@ if they would only listen to consumers… If they really want stand up to the Teneré they need to step it up a notch. Even if the price goes up by 1k.
So, Honda did not relocate the air box. You still must remove the gas tank in order to access it. Honda is living in clown world 🤡

New headlight in no way looks slimmer or more modern. I prefer the original...
I need to see it live to compare.
its the same headlight as the new hornet 750.for me it works for the hornet but not for the transalp

Why does manufacturers make bikes with lower seat/frame options for the shorter rider of which I am one of thousands.
it is not so low as you might think. there is actually an option for lower seat

Nobody confirmed us so far

Some very funny translations in the text below. 😂
automatic :)
Tubeless tires required, so I’m passing…
Tenere700 doesn't have tubeless
저걸 사서 옵션질 하고 튜브리스휠 달고 하는것보다 그냥 f900gs 를 사는것이 더 저렴하겠넹
Love my transalp but i might be trading in for the lowered t7
Do not like integrated captions 😢
Tried to help, some people requested
@IdealBike but TH-cam already have captions for them
@P3lusio They are not so good
The Transalp NEEDS Tubeless tyres !!!!!!!!!!!
