Your knowledge on this has been a god send for me. On Ozempic since October 1, feeling great, eating healthy, down 30 lbs. confident that I can keep it off this time. I know it's not just the medicine- there is no magic pill. oz is helping me change my relationship with food. Thank you.

I am on Zepbound 5mg and I want to stay on it. 2.5 was not bad either and I should have fought more to stay longer on that dose( I did 2 months)I have been eating clean because I know this is a lifestyle change. This medication is a tool and has help tremendously with helping me to focus on lean protein, fiber and water. The weight is just falling off. I walk and lift weights 5 lbs 3 days a week. You are right no need for high doses. My symptoms at this point nonexistent. Low dosage is the key and you are on to something.

I think I need peptides. I eat clean. I eat protein and veggies. Eat carbs in moderation. I make homemade food. I read labels. I’m doing BHRT since 2020. But I’m in my 50s and over the past two years I put almost 20 lbs on. Went from 123 to 139/140. I’ve been a personal trainer for 20+ years so I know what worked up until 2022. But for some reason I can’t get this weight off even with working out and eating clean 😩

Dr. Tyna I absolutely love your Podcasts & TH-cam channel! You are amazing. Is it ok to walk 10k to 15 k daily and do resistance training 3-4 times a week?

You should definitely be doing resistance training if you are on a glp-1. This is to help reduce the loss of muscle mass. In addition, I would recommend increasing your protein intake to help with maintaining muscle mass.

You'll need a place that gives regular syringes. I think my daughter got hers at ageless men. I ordered mine from ageless rx online. I think i spoke to a dr via facetime. Sent in my i.d. etc. A vial & syringes were delivered to my home. I learned on month 2 to microdose or to split my doses. If i was prescribed to inject .50 i would use .25 maybe 5 days later use another .25
It would be less expensive for me to get mine in the 1 dose pen but that isnt how i want to use it.

I was on 0.75 ozempic and got depressive. As soon as I stopped it’s gotten better. What would be a microdose for a pre menopausal woman that is 20lb over weight?

I have it compounded and if you speak to your provider, tell them you want to start low. It took about 4 weeks to feel a difference, but there are no adverse side effects. I did it myself, since I draw it up - small doses, like 1/10 of what you were taking.

Your father needs to go on low carb at the same time as GLPs if he is to reverse his T2D. Look up Low Carb Down Under. All GPs can prescribe compound GLPs (vile and syringe) if you want to microdose.
