You’ve got to watch Lindsey buckingham play and sing big love live! I think it was a solo performance. Each member of Fleetwood Mac is so talented individually but all of their uniqueness together makes the greatness of Fleetwood Mac.
I truly love this performance ! And although Stevie sounds different as she ages, she still sounds magical... something about her voice will always pierce my soul
I’m here for anything Stevie! I adore her. She’s the High Priestess of Rock and Roll. I’ve been to at least one show of every FM and solo tour since The Dance.
Stevie from a musical standpoint is self-taught. Her parents gave her a guitar for her sixteenth birthday and she wrote her first song in it without any lessons. She can’t read music but plays the piano by ear. Back in 1975, Mick Fleetwood recalled a review of a concert that called Stevie’s voice raucous and callow. She went to pieces and didn’t really want to perform the next night, but did anyway. That night’s audience was filled with Stevie “lookalikes” in top hats and chiffon skirts and scarves. Mick (and Stevie) realized that it didn’t matter what the critics thought, only what the audience felt that mattered.
Love Stevie live! Some more great live performances are Kelly Clarkson "Piece by Piece" on American Idol, Jim Croce "I have a Name" and The Oscars performance of Moulin Rouge with Lil Kim Missie Elloit, Mya, Pink and Patti Labelle.
From 1997: a song left off Rumours because of length, "Silver Springs." It was originally presented in 1977 as the b-side of the single "Go Your Own Way." Many lists of a particular sort have named it the best b-side track ever. This live performance is my favorite iteration of the song. Please give it a look. th-cam.com/video/eDwi-8n054s/w-d-xo.html
If you haven't seen Fleetwood Mac - Big Love (Live: The Dance), you really need to do that one. Lindsey Buckingham goes full God mode on a guitar. I think you'd appreciate it.

Stevie Nicks has a very unique voice. She doesn’t sound like she did when she was young, but she still sounds great!

Lindsey uses the calluses on the balls of his fingers to play the guitar as opposed to a pick or his fingernails.
