That’s not a 2009 Mazda 3 but rather a 2010 …. 2010 had the new look . Front and rear were updated to this new smiley look front bumper. 04-09 gen 2 . 2010- gen 3 ..
I have a 2009 Mazda 2.3 168k I’m hearing this loud noise when the car is on and driving even at a stop sign I’m thinking it’s the tensioner ?? It’s loud
@@mucahituluc1028 I would recommend to change the timing belt, this Mazda did not have the check engine light on and made that noise. I suspect it was the warn out guides and once I replaced the timing belt , and timing belt guides, the noise was no longer.
"Only had to use this tool 3 times." I hope that was 3 different cars or your car has over 500,000 miles on it. Otherwise these videos are null and void.
Wow good video, it's not easy trying to record and doing the work, great video!!!!
Where did you buy that vehicle scissor lift?
Did get this car from multi-owners and at what mileage did you get the car.
Is it really necessary to replace the chain when there is nothing wrong with it or not causing any noise or trouble?
Hi it depends, the chain is suppose to last the life of the car, but something they get worn out and May need to be replaced.

Very wrong. 04-09 was the first gen and the 2nd gen was 09-13. They had both in the same year. They switched in June.
Can someone give me the link to the correct part. I have a 2006 Mazda 3 2.0l
I buy from rockauto. Just enter your vehicle details, find the part, and read the description.
Amazon?? Oh no no no bad idea...

Hi Alexis, yes that could be the case, also the guides can be the issue such as a broken or worn our chain guides.
I have same noise, vibration noise going up and down, 159k km should I change the timing belt cuz I have no engine light on?
