I love your porch, Scott. Makes me homesick. I’m in the desert SW now but I grew up in a 1920 bungalow in NY on the PA border. I’m 77 now so the 1920s bungalow was decades ago. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It has brought back so many warm memories I somewhat lost in a stroke.
Hi Scott…You made my day by showing your Christmas decor out on your porch floor…Mine is on the basement floor as you walk in….Making it difficult to walk in….Have not put mine away either! You made me LAUGH today with your comments going through the Christmas bags…And I really didn’t even feel like laughing 😃 I love your front porch….Will be fun putting it together for summer weather! (Faves in those bags are the Bunny Pixies!)
Such fun Scott! I collect old Christmas 🎄 bells; but they have to have their glass clapper. Love old Gurley candles too 🕯️. I’ll be watching tonight 🥰.
I paid $10 for a mercury glass ornament like the first one so you’re definitely ahead on your purchase. I recognized a couple of your candles as Gurleys from my childhood in the 50-60’s. You find the most interesting things. I always enjoy it when you share with us. Finally, congratulations on the huge progress you’ve made on your home. You’ve taken it from bare bones to warm, inviting step back into time.
It's always enjoyable when you give us a home update! I like the blue paint you chose for the porch ceiling, it's very serene! It's gonna look great when it's all put back together. Thanks for sharing, Scott! (I prefer spicy scents too, nice pick!)
Those are ultra rare Baby Jane Hudson angel ornaments. $200 a piece on 1stDibs. Wish I had Smell-a-Vision so I could get a whiff of that jockey club. My favorite is Chanel Pour Monsieur, very old school, came out the year I was born. And Guerlain Vetiver, which smells like cigarettes and perfume, very 1958. But my daily scents are the Pinaud barber shop after shaves, Clubman and Bay Rum. Wakes me up in the morning. The jewelry box is very nice. I love the ancient thread box I got from you. I keep my grandmother's rosary in it, and her photo. She was a dressmaker. Great fun, you brightened my evening, thanks Scott!
Love love love your front porch!! Bravo on keeping your plants alive out there during the winter!! Love the croquet set! And the pretty blue paint on the ceiling.
Scott, the Xmas decorations you have are worth some money. You have some vintage spun head angels with the weird faces that are noteworthy. You could sell all the contents of the bags for good monies. 🎉😊
Fun surprise video 🤗you are so funny showing us the good bad and the ugly in those Christmas grab bags 🎄loved the inlaid jewelry box. I can’t wait for more porch thrift halls🤗It was summertime weather in RIDLEY Park today. Glad you didn’t search out our 2 pitiful goodwill stores stores when came estate sale shopping.you would have not been enthralled. Will be joining your Monday live sale just to watch and not bid$
Those Perry Como 45's are AMAZING!!! I have ALWAYS loved him!!!! I have so many of his records 🥰 Btw those bunny rabbit pixies are definitely rare and worth money!
Yes, Scott, that must be a gnat. I simply can not believe that you would draw flies! Give that snake plant some water, you might just be pleasantly surprised.
It looks like the bunnies and the elves might be knee huggers. I’d bag up the miscellaneous Christmas bits and sell them as a “vintage Christmas crafting lot” - dedicated crafters will snatch them up. The old candles will actually polish up with an old nylon stocking, so you might hit your mother up for a pair of pantyhose and give it a try. I remember when I was little, over Memorial Day weekend my father would get the screens down from the rafters in the garage, hose them off, and hang them up, where they would stay until Labor Day weekend.
A male scent I appreciate is woodsy, mossy, with a hint of spice and or musk. I sometimes make specific blends based on lifestyle, and chemical reaction to the skin. They can be customised to the wearer’s personal preferences as essential oil in a perfume carrier, or as a cologne prepared in ethanol, or even worn as pure essential oil in a cutwork locket with felt pads to hold the fragrance, and be released by the body’s heat. I can blend for women as well, but find men’s fragrances more challenging and fun to create.🖤🇨🇦
Thanks for another enjoyable half hour with you, Scott. I had to giggle when you brought out the 60s strange angle sisters. They endeared themselves to me cause they chose the same hair doo I'm wearing today, including the messiness. Lol. Your vids are interesting and entertaining. I laughed out loud when you sprayed some of that cologne on and turned your own self on. Your mom and step-dad were a kick in the pants in yesterday's vid. You sure came by your silliness honestly. I'm glad they're still around for you (and us) to enjoy. Love you and your tall lamp.
Love the porch! I have fond memories of my grandmother and I sitting on her porch, much like yours, and singing songs at the top of our lungs. I often wonder what the neighbors thought. ❤️
Hi Scott- I really enjoyed the "dig" through the Christmas decorations! Your "Ricola Man" looks like he might be a German ornament. I bet Dee could do a makeover on the three angels, so they don't look so frazzled!
Scott! What a fabulous old croquet set. What a find. The acquired taste characters must be Annalee. Some people love them. I prefer the old Santa like you have. 😂 Those old figural candles brought back memories. I think we had those for every holiday. The old hunched over man wood ornament may be German made and very collectible. They are pricey now if German. Especially if Erzgebirge or Steinbach. Worth checking since sell for around $20-30.
You might want to sell those angels at Halloween instead of Christmas lol. You found some nice things again but my favorites and the most valuable things in that Christmas bag were those two bunny knee huggers. Thanks for sharing your lovely porch and the great items you found!
I did pretty good with a pyrex percolator by parting it out into the pot, the basket and the stem. It wasn't selling all together. I had it listed for quite awhile for $60. When I sold the pieces separately, I got $80.
What a refreshing video for today! I happen to like the vintage Christmas ornaments that are a bit odd with the painted faces, I have some buyers choice Christmas items that one has to acquire a taste for, that are similar to the ones you’re talking about, buy I cant recall the name of who made them off the top of my head. Anyway, thank you! Always enjoy your videos!!! 🥰😉
Who ever is running out to the mall right now to buy Scott his favorite cologne…please consider a lowly subscriber like myself too. I like Gucci Bloom. Who knows…you might get buy one / buy the second 1/2 off!!! 😂😂😂😂 Ahhh…the perks of having a popular TH-cam channel.
Theirry mugler makes angel man... dated guy once that wore..vanilla and cigar note, if i recall. I took u for an aqua di parma man (popular in 1920s), Givenchy gentleman, Chanel Bleu, equipage Geranium my other love potions. ❤
The name of the mouse was Topo Gigo (probably not spelled correctly). He was a puppet, and very popular in his home country Italy. Ed Sullivan brought him and the who operated him over to America. He was a hit and appeared often on the show. Many plastic Christmas ornaments were made around that time in his likeness. I had a boy and girl set. And you still see them inn assortments of old ,Christmas ,60's as I recall. Big round ears, long pointed snout. Very anthropmorphic. Sound like the mouse you were talking about? Your just too young Scott!
No, I’m very familiar with that mouse, but that’s not what I was speaking about. I was referring to a line of Christmas ornaments with very strangely hand-painted faces. They were called Annalee Christmas ornaments. 😊
That crocheted piece with the keychain -- is that supposed to be some type of coin purse? Those bunny rabbit pixies would look great on an Easter centerpiece! Those x-mas grab bags were worth it just for the vintage Shiny Brite ornaments.
My grandma used to have a beauty shop in her house i never seen it she quit doing hair by the time i was born, but I remember the bathroom that was built for the beauty shop it had concrete painted walls and I remember you walked up 3 steps to get to the toilet and the sink but on the back of that tank lid on the toilet she had a handmade tissue holder with a creepy rubber baby doll face on it that bathroom always scared me and my sister as kids.
I could be mistaken but I think those crazy looking felt angels are hand crafted from a vintage Brucilla felt appliqué sequins etc. Kit. Being hand crafted from the kit some I have seen turn out better than others (?)
A Catholic friend of mine has FOUR wisemen, she sets up her crèche without the baby, and places the wisemen off in the distance. Each day she moves the wisemen closer to the crèche, but the 4th one gets separated from the other 3, and he never makes it to the crèche, because he got lost along the way. The others get there after the baby is placed in the animal’s food trough.🖤🇨🇦
Are you trying to say AnnaLees for those faces on the ornaments? They are not AnnaLees. I was given the little black and white pixie a while go as I have collected them. Had never seen the bunny pixies until someone showed them on U Tube this spring with their Easter decor. Thanks for sharing. Fun to see.
Anna Lee I think is the name of the ugly little thing that people love to buy now. Your house has come so far, so fast. Looks really nice. I guess I like it cause it looks alot like mine. Mine is just a lot fuller cause I've been dragging stuff in thirty years longer. The only thing I don't know about is the front porch. In the South it's just the ceiling that is painted lite blue - Not the trim next to it. Just so you know. But It's whatever YOU like.
My mom met Perry Como and got his autograph in the early 1980s. She worked for an orthopedic surgeon that Mr. Como was a patient of. The surgeon's nurse knew my mom was a Perry Como fan and told him; he was very friendly and gracious, offering the autograph and asking if she'd like to meet.
Anna lee is the doll with funny faces.
They are odd looking!
😂

I love your user name 😄👍!
Luv the coffee pot! Would be great to watch it work. ☕️
I guess I'm the only one who thinks those kitschy girl angels are cute!
Btw, you can pick up extender hooks for the hanging basket
Love those homemade grumpy angels! Sell the wee beasties!

With fronds like those, who needs anemones? Haha, happy your plants survived!
Oh my….❤ your croquet set😊a favorite game of mine!
Mine too!!
I would love a Christmas in July! 🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻
Liked this vlog,lots of variety.😊😊
Love the old ornaments, especially the bunnies & the deer .
Thierry Mugler Angel Man..sounds gorgeous.Sounds similar to Hermes..
Such fun Scott! I collect old Christmas 🎄 bells; but they have to have their glass clapper. Love old Gurley candles too 🕯️. I’ll be watching tonight 🥰.

Thise ratty-hair dolls are hilarious! I was laughing so hard I had to get a tissue because I was crying! 😂
someone else probably said it already Annalee dolls is what i think you are thinking of. Hey you need that little bird for our bird cage.

I love that little light green wicker chair ❤
Scott, the Xmas decorations you have are worth some money. You have some vintage spun head angels with the weird faces that are noteworthy. You could sell all the contents of the bags for good monies. 🎉😊
The hair on the angels is made of yarn.
Scary angels would make good embellishments for outgoing Christmas gifts! But you would probably get them back on yours next year!🤣🤣🤣

The Walnut!😮
OMG those Cute sleeping bunnies!🐇🐇❤❤🤗🤗
Love the porch!
Scott, you brighten my day! Thank you, friend. Sending hugs.❤
Somebody will love all those smirking Mae West angels, Scott. 😊
You can put the little feathered bird in your bird cage.
Love the walnut box. We have a humid day today. Feeling hot. But not. It's been 80s in April
Now you’re talking my language Scott! That box is a beauty. ❤️
I believe the santa doll is "Annalee".

I like the walnut jewelry box and the tour of your porch
Nice to see the porch again! Love ANY pixie 😅 . Have a wonderful day, thanks for the nice video!! Gina
I like the funny faced little angels 😊

Perry Como……Canonsburg, PA. It’s about 20 miles SW of Pittsburgh. Also the hometown of Bobby Vinton.
Thierry Mugler has his name on Angel Man cologne.
Love the porch! I have fond memories of my grandmother and I sitting on her porch, much like yours, and singing songs at the top of our lungs. I often wonder what the neighbors thought. ❤️
My sump pump has been going nonstop. So much rain this spring. More coming this week.
Great vlog Scott! Thanks for sharing your porch, love it! ♥️
Hi Scott- I really enjoyed the "dig" through the Christmas decorations! Your "Ricola Man" looks like he might be a German ornament. I bet Dee could do a makeover on the three angels, so they don't look so frazzled!
Aloha 🌺🥰 Love the pixies!
Anna Lee makes the creepy dolls

Loved the video Scott. Fantastic all the way around ☺️👍🏻🕊️.
Also, loving those suitcases!

I like the blue 💙 ceiling! But noooeeew on the ornaments😶 Sorry they creepy!🥰 Love ya!❤
I love all those doodads. 🎄🎅🧑🎄🤶

Just love your home and I’m a porch person…I’m excited for the porch reveal
Scott I need your croquet set! I’m having a garden party for the ladies in my family on Mothers Day weekend.
I remember my sisters using a pink plastic hair roller for the record adapter!

Actually, I do not accept gifts through the mail and I don’t even publish a PO Box so I won’t be receiving any gifted cologne. 😊
😒
Nice to see you out on the porch again Scott!
I ♥️ the drunk angels
…and the pixies!
I love those flat angels 😇 😍
Theirry mugler makes angel man... dated guy once that wore..vanilla and cigar note, if i recall. I took u for an aqua di parma man (popular in 1920s), Givenchy gentleman, Chanel Bleu, equipage Geranium my other love potions. ❤

You are thinking of Annalee dolls .... 😁
Yes, indeed!
Love you
The old wooden jewelry box is nice! I enjoyed seeing your Christmas finds. Thank you, Scott. 😊
Love the blue paint
Ann Lee? The "face " you were trying to figure out! I agree .. an acquired taste.
One of the ornaments you thought was from Dollar Tree is actually a Hallmark ornament.
Beautiful blue for the porch ceiling! What brand of paint and color is it ?
I bought it last summer and right now it’s down in the basement so honestly, I don’t remember.
Anna Lee dolls and yes has to be your thing 🥴 not mine 😊 porch updates please 😊
Oh dang, I missed it 😢
Do Christmas in July! I collect Christmas all year!!
Was the name you were trying to recall… Annalee?
The mini-nativity pieces could be a fun size for a doll house.
I sold a similar percolator (6 cup w/glass handle) in no time for $60 plus shipping. You'll have no trouble selling that!
You could use the 3 scary dolls for Halloween!!😂
Annalee dolls is what you’re thinking of. I think they’re bizarre and creepy. They’re made in New Hampshire.
Indeed that’s exactly what I was thinking about. Thank you.!
@@oldcuriosityshop265 you’re very welcome.
👋🙌👍
I could be mistaken but I think those crazy looking felt angels are hand crafted from a vintage Brucilla felt appliqué sequins etc. Kit. Being hand crafted from the kit some I have seen turn out better than others (?)
I love your house
say it loud and say it proud

Men aren't supposed to smell like fruit anyway 😂 spicy is where its at 😂

Had never seen the bunny pixies until someone showed them on U Tube this spring with their Easter decor. Thanks for sharing. Fun to see.
No I knew they were not Anna Lee. They simply slightly reminded me of that style, but I couldn’t think of the name while I was shooting the video. 🙂

When Stars remembered the value of their fans…they were good days.🖤🇨🇦
Anna Lee, painted faces from NH
I agree her critters are an acquired taste
I want to know when the Perry Como Christmas goes for sale. 😊
Anna Lee dolls I have one. 🙂
I would name the angels the "Rough Night Angels"...they had a bit too much eggnog.
