    Nice work! The ball field turned out great. The pitcher's mound appears to be a perfect circle. Very impressive!

    Sometimes ya just need a good old fashioned grader blade to pull the material back from the side to the center. Great work guys' That power rake amazes me everytime I see you use it! love watching your vids, this one could have been twice as long for me. Happy to see you back after such a difficult time!

    Nice driveway clean up. That small ditch added will probably make tings far better. Gives the runoff a place to go. Box blades can be a challenge but you made it look easy and finishing with Ventrac "polished" it up nicely. Enjoyed watching as always.

    Fantastic job on a great piece of property. As a small child my mother cooked at a church camp, which meant I got to stay all three weeks for each age group. I was in heaven. Dirt and toys. Maybe I've not gone far from that!

    We had an F3 tornado come through my town including my neighborhood here in NY on July 16th.
    We had a lot of devastation, buildings destroyed and damaged. Including homes.
    We put out business on hold for about 8 days, maybe even a couple more short days. We helped many families get the huge trees out of their yards, and set them to the curbs.
    We also work with the City, towns, state, and military as they all worked the disaster.
    The day is hit the town, I walked out to my “big” saw, it had been having issues starting for me. I put it through its starting process and is revved right up ready to go.
    I knew that I couldn’t sit around and I had to act. So many people were affected, and thankfully we were able to help so many people. I hope that it doesn’t happen again. But if it does, I’m ready to go again.
    Being able to assist in that moment

    I have driven by that place many times over the years but had never been there. I worked for almost 20 years just 5 miles south and drove up old 63 many times as I preferred it to the less scenic 63. Gotta love all of the road names in that area. I went to the web site to lookup the history out of curiosity, it's been there a very long time now, and it was interesting to see that the Seeger family donated the ground.

    The Ventrac has to be one of the most versatile utility platforms compared to compact tractors, skid steers, mini-Ex's, etc. It may not be the best in every category but since it can do so much in varied terrain its versatility is almost unmatched.

    Seeing that plane on Tim’s loader had been wondering of something probably have to make homemade that could easily mount on the loader bucket on dad’s old 1974 410 John Deere backhoe. Don’t have quick attach for the loader bucket didn’t think it was an option back in 1974. Wonder something that can slide on like heavy hitch tooth bar with a way to secure it better than clamping bolts. It’s a new idea trying to get outta my mind

    Last year I spent a long Saturday with my MF GC1723 refurbishing a baseball field for a local Christian high school. I tilled the infield, pitchers mound, and home plate. Then I dethatched the outfield so they could overseed. The field looks great now. I was glad I could do my part.

    Tim if I had put the road system in back in the day I would have put 8 to 10 inches of the bigger 1.5 inch to 3 inch stone base then 6 inches of the 3/4 inch to fines on top it seems to be on some of the projects you work on the base layer of stone gets not done thick enough cause of the pot holes

    • @TractorTimewithTim
      @TractorTimewithTim  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nah, wouldn’t make a difference here. The potholes are due to the standing water.

    My thought on the ability to move dirt with the power rake forward vs backwards - just kinda noodling around with ideas.
    The rake in forward travel is resting on the front wheels, and the back is supported by the tractor itself. The material is being removed from behind the front wheels, and the tractor's path is larger than the material removal path of the rake, so it sinks into the cut path less. When you're moving backwards, the rake is removing the dirt from just in front of the implement wheels, which effectively drops the rake down farther into the ground, the more material is removed. I wonder if that's artificially playing with how much ground engagement it has...

    Tim, do you have the pivot point adjustment on the Ventrac in the right position for the dual wheels? They shouldn’t be rubbing together in a hard turn.

    Nice work Tim. I have a fairly long shared gravel driveway that I use a land plane on. The problem I'm having is that the material comes off the rear blade in clumps. This leaves a washboard type surface. How do you do a final smoothing to get rid of those?

    • @TractorTimewithTim
      @TractorTimewithTim  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it comes off in clumps when wet. Does it still come off in clumps when drier? I find that it works well when dry.
      One approach to final smoothing is to use a harrow. americanharrow.com has a good 3 point mount one. Use code ttwt for 5% off.

    Tim will you answer this question for me please. If you purchase a tractor without a front end loader how do they add it latter hydraulic issues like pump and or a storage tank

    • @TractorTimewithTim

    Maybe I'm just making noise but we have a BX2360 with a pin on bucket. I wish that there could be a way to use what you have on the Deere tractor to work driveways without having to do a lot of modifications to make it a quick attach. I was thinking of trying to make something to hook to our bucket. Any thoughts?

    • @TractorTimewithTim
      @TractorTimewithTim  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think (but not sure) that you can upgrade your bucket to ssqa.
      Then, you could use the ssqa version of this land leveler.
      Alternatively, heavyhitch might be willing to make a pin on version if you called.
