I don't know whether that's a thing where you are, but in my area, crafting cafes are a thing. Places where you knit and sew, etc. We don't have sewing TS4 but I did build a cafe for knitting and cross-stitching. I added a few mannequins and dressed them for the "we make clothes" vibe and added a few painting easels from Discover University and some decoration items from the stylist influencer career.
These are great ideas! The thing I love about your videos is that they are so different from the other sims youtubers videos. Your content is inspiring and unique, and really fun.

I'm working on making a flower cafe in my current save and this gave me lots of cute ideas. The girl sim is a flower arranger and the guy sim is a baker and foodie. They've been saving up to buy the cafe I'll be renovating in Widenburg.
This is my favorite sims channel now. It completely re-ignited my love for the sims, and I might even see if I can translate these kinds of builds to the sims 3. Either way, the way you play really builds on top of my base, boring gameplay

These videos give me some creative ideas to try and add to my saves. I could totally see myself using some of these ideas to flesh out the Newcrest map. With the recent addition of the werewolf pack, it really makes me want to do a more "bar-like" setting more tailored to the occult type Sims. I am glad I stumbled upon your channel. A lot of your ideas for like your bakeries/shops/cafes/etc have really got me wanting to push my rather low building skills in the Sims to the limits and see what interesting designs I can come up with.

I don't understand tho why my Sims cannot buy a cafe? I have two but when I try to buy one its says that the lot must not have owners but it doesnt. Instead, if I put the lot in "restaurant" or "shop" mode it allows me to purchase them but it's not the same as having a cafe.
You know I discovered that Sims 4 is actually fun in its own way over the previous iterations. It just feels boring after getting it the first time because of how uninteresting the characters and lots were in every pack. They never highlight the gameplay. Like clubs in Get Together, why didn't they make a Real Housewives of Willow Creek club? They should model how interesting the features can be. I literally never touched clubs until I found the way some players were using it. I guess that's why they called you "Game Changers".
this is why people think sims 4 is 'boring' because they don't make the lots more fun and do everything at the house which defeats the purpose of life simulation game if you don't have your sim live life
The more I watched the 'animation' of the Sims picking up the coffee, the angrier I got. Nothing against Petey, obviously, but it really annoys me just how LAZY The Sims 4 is compared to the earlier games. In The Sims 2 there was an animation for EVERYTHING. If a Sim wanted to pick up a plate or a coffee cup, they actually leant over the table/bar/counter/whatever and physically picked it up. The Sims 3 got lazier with the animations (e.g. Sims just teleporting to their cars), and now The Sims 4... you know what? I'm not actually angry, just disappointed. Ugh.
You are a never ending source of creative and thoughtful ideas. I'm off to build a groovy new beachside café right now!
