I lived there 1961-1965, age 9-13. Lived next to Harrington Sound near Flatts Bridge by the school up the hill and on Kindley AFB. Best place on earth.

Where else in the world do you get such beautiful clear, turquoise water as we have in Bermuda! There are pink sandy beaches, gorgeous flowers, and the friendliest people. We have lovely shops that sell trinkets to take home with you, to remind you of our island ( on those cold winter days you have in your country). Come visit us!
Lived in Bermuda for 3 yrs as a kid. My dad was stationed there for the air force and we lived in two different areas. I remember St. George and somewhere out side of Hamilton. I remember seeing the capital from a road on the other side of Hamilton. Great beautiful place to live. We attended military schools. Also spent a lot of time doing things on the base and we adventured the island as any kid would do.

My Dad, a born German, was living in Bermuda in the early 60s until the early 70 and bought the original AS Coopers Bermuda Gold Hog Penny on a Gold chain and is still wearing it every day. I moved to Bermuda in 2005 and left in 2011, I bought my Wife´s engagement Ring at AS Coopers and it reminds me every day of this beautiful Island. @18:05 my Dad was a witness of the Riots which were taken place in Bermuda in 1968/69, he always talked about how scared he and my mom were, they were burning stuff outside my dad's and mom's house...
...so nice to see again...
