    • @plantbassrunner1234
      @plantbassrunner1234 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are third party battery packs for these amps. I know the place I bought it from, 2nd Bass Guitars on Facebook, carries them. I think you can get a couple hours out of a charge. If you're just playing by yourself in the park it would work great but in a band situation it probably wouldn't be enough. As far as a comparison, I can't help you there. Not familiar with the Micro Cube. But this little fella sounds really good and the volume is more than I'd have expected.
      Hope that helps a bit.

      Hi. I've seen the battery packs that work with it but they aren't provided by Phil Jones. The person here in Canada that sells Phil Jones Amps has access to the packs. It might even be an Amazon thing. If you go to Facebook and search for 2nd Bass Guitars, just send him a note and ask where he gets his battery packs. is it loud enought to play along with a drummer? or it is just for studio recording?

    • @mshaneh123
      @mshaneh123  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn't use it for studio. I have used it for a rehearsal a few times where it was just a stripped down rehearsal with a drummer and guitar player at lower volumes just to run tunes. It's got some pretty good volume to it for its size but if you're "rocking out" in a rehearsal space it probably won't keep up. More of a practice amp. However I've done acoustic shows with it in small venues on its own (not through a PA) and it worked great. I'm sure it would be fine if you were doing an acoustic show in a small hall or church.
      Hope that helps.

  • @MichaelStoneham

    How would this hold up in a small to medium Gig. And is it battery powered??

    • @mshaneh123
      @mshaneh123  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Medium gig? Probably not. I've used it in a small intimate hall type gig with me and an acoustic player. That was pretty much its limit. You can get battery packs for it too. The guy I got my amp from sells them. Says they get around 4 hours out of a charge. Look up "2nd Bass Guitars" on Facebook. They're in his store somewhere in there. You can contact him for more info on it too.

    • @mshaneh123
