Awesome! Wanted to develop extensions for some time and never got into it. Would be nice a video showing how to display an extension pop-up when clicking on The action button

I think one of the biggest pains in working with chrome extensions is there are no way to hot reload when working with React (with typescript) to build a chrome extension - is that work flow going to be supported at some point or please correct me if I am mistaken and this is actually possible :)

If the site page already has a changed cursor type, will there be a reassignment? What is the priority of manifest execution?

You need to set the css properties as important so that they take priority
