Hello everyone please use Full synthetic Motor oil and gear ⚙️ oil trust and believe it will run a lot smoother with more power and last very long wont break down as fast as conventional oils and better quicker starting in cold 🥶 and hot weather. Thing will last forever one more thing Premium fuel ⛽️ is recommended by Blaze do not use 87 u can but engine will crap sooner on 87 if u use 91-93 like blaze says u will put thousands on this little thing.

Hey NW thanks for the great vids and reviews. I finally got mine, but could only get 19 mph max. I ordered the cold air intake filter so hopefully that might help a little, even if it just makes it a little more responsive. Thank you I really appreciate your comment! a.co/d/aWZdbpL That's the link to the air filter, I didn't use the carburetor that comes with the kit because the intake manifold didn't fit on my scooter motor so I just installed the filter and choke with my stock carb with two longer bolts from Home Depot. 🤟
@@jaredjones1944 I use 80w-90 synthetic gear oil. I haven't changed it in a year am considering changing it this weekend, I'll have a video posted of the process.

I have been using 4-Stroke Oil 10w-30 you can buy a quart at Walmart, I put premium gasoline in my scooter as it helps with performance. To help keep the motor and carburetor clean as well you can add Lucus Fuel Treatment to the gas tank it made my scooter run a lot smoother.
@@nwsights6301 it was 4 l brackets flatten 2 on top and 2 on bottom I used want ihad and tow a bike trailer I also Bent the fender thing tube off the engine and brought it away from the tire I wish this guy sold different parts for performance
@@danyalarafat1271 Funny because I've been thinking of somehow installing a hitch on mine to tow around my daughter in a little trailer thing nice idea. There are a lot of performance mods out there they aren't all specific to this scooter but will work.

@@digitalsuperdaddy I didn't mention the carb before because I ended up changing it out a little later on. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to making the video yet about the carb due to the heat I've been having where I live.
Not yet but that's on my list to figure out as well, there will certainly be a video out covering the muffler when I figure out how I'm going to install one. 🤟

Sorry, I read the manual but not the other pages of info. Just read it now where it said there was just enough gear oil for testing purposes. Hopefully I didn't test it too much. I just went back and forth a few times in front of our house.
Considering it hasn't been started in a year could be bad gas and or the carburetor got gummed up. Try with new gas and with the choke on see if it starts also prop the back side of the scooter up off the ground and give it half throttle while trying to start it.
also dont change the motor oil when it gets dark all motor oil gets dark run it for like 10 months and change it itll be fine also lower your idle ik people say raise it for more power but thats not true its stupid
I wasn't aware I didn't have to change it as much as I've have been that is great to know! I know oil gets dark but I'm always paranoid with the reliability of the motor. The idle I was playing with and thought I got it back to normal how much lower should I make it? And for the weld I didn't have a welder otherwise I would have did it and it fell off while I was riding didn't notice til I got home lol.

I just got my Blaze 49cc 4 stroke yesterday and took it out for a ride today! Could only get it to 19 mph. I ordered the cold air intake filter. Any suggestions on increasing speed besides losing a little weight as I'm almost 200 lbs.
My 200 lbs friend was able to get mine up to 25, these small engines just take a lot of messing around with sometimes but the air filter should help with response and give you at least 1 mph, with the choke on my filter the on and off markings were backwards so when it on set to off then the choke was on so inspect yours to check that out. A carburetor upgrade will greatly help as well.
@@nwsights6301 I tweaked the idle up and down, still maxed out around 18-19 mph. Looking forward to installing the cold air intake filter, it arrives tomorrow.
@@nwsights6301 thanks I will. I also noticed my tire pressure was pretty low, around 15 psi. I got the front filled but guess I need an extension to reach into the back tire valve. I guess that low tire pressure can affect lower top speed as well.
Yes you do need a extension to reach the valve for pumping up the tires, Blaze Scooters sells one but Amazon has a ton which are much cheaper. @@GlennBaker60
Probably so just will depend on what kind of gas tank you can find. You could probably use some metal brackets to mount a bigger gas tank on to the existing holes where the original tank mounts on to.

Did you get a certificate of origin when you bought it? I want to get one, but here in North Carolina you have to register it with the DMV so I'll need that certificate.
I wouldn't say a certificate of origin but it had plenty of paperwork stating the company where it came from and what it is. You shouldn't have to register it I don't see how you even would that's weird.
@@nwsights6301 they're a blast. And 35mph is plenty fast on a stand up scooter. Just remember the more engine modding you do, the worse you get in terms of reliability. Not a fan of pipes and top end kits etc unless you feel like rebuilding your engine regularly.
Well if the engine is cold and im starting it up I leave the choke on which is closed until the engine warms up, then I switch it off which is open. As long as the engine has been warmed up you can leave the choke off but when I'm riding I always leave it off/open otherwise it would stall with any throttle.
I noticed it's called the Urban Scooter here. Is it exact same as the Blaze 49cc 4 cycle scooter, just a different name? Also, where do they ship from. I read that Blaze ships from Myrtle Beach SC. I'm in Coastal NC so was thinking it might get here pretty fast from there

Just took it out today after tuning it changing the fluids along with fitting a new carb on it, according to my GPS speed app I clocked 30 mph on flat ground with wind blowing at my back. One of these scooters totally stock will go at least 25-27 easy.
Same fender weld broke for me I welded it back on though

Don't think you have to use a gasket for the filter that should just be for the carb

I went to Home Depot to get the bolts I bought a couple different lengths and used the ones that worked.

The engine makes a little to much noise. because it does not have a muffler. Do you recommend any mufflers for this scooter?

Not all the time but mostly yes, I like to get the scooter moving as fast as it can go.

It would only smell a lot after u use it. If you let it sit and cool down the smell shouldn’t be bad

Freedom of movement look in to it not sovereign citizen but scooter
2 strokes get 35mph with only a gearing change and no other mods like a pipe or porting or top end.
