All thanks to BCCI who pays high salaries just to keep Indian players from not playing in other leagues. So obviously a player who is not in Indian Team knows that he will obviously be in IPL . And the ones that are in Indian Team know that in IPL they will make a lot of money. So all these players donot take international matches seriously. Banning IPL will never be the solution for the problems mentioned in this video. While IPL has many negativities it also had done several good things to cricket. But the concern here is that the competitiveness of IPL is way below than the international cricket and I am sure many of us will agree on this. Anyone watching cricket can surely notice the aggressiveness shown by players in T20 world cup and the one shown by players in IPL. Cricket is a sport where the field is most affected by different weather conditons and different play styles are required to play in different conditions. So foreigners playing in IPL can take advantage of this whereas Indian players cannot experience foreign weather conditions. Also the loss of viewership of First-class, test and ODI format is not a good sign. Its viewers fault. These formats tests players' endurance in several pitches and conditions. Killing these formats for the sake of T20 will completely destroy the sport we loved and cheered.
Make cricket like football, scrap odi and test and play only t20 leagues, and t20 world cup every four year, ppl who say that they love test cricket and odi cricket, watch only the last 10-15 overs of each innings of odi cricket and last innings of test cricket, if we want cricket to grow we must scrap test and odi and play t20 leagues like football and international competitions like asia-ociena cup, Africa cup, europa cup, and world cup, champions trophy.

I don't believe that IPL has destroyed the international cricket, when in 2007 India won the T20 world cup, immediately next year i.e. in 2008 they saw the potential in it and invested around it. However now a days all the other boards are cash thirsty that they are opening there own leagues. If you think, what if there's only one league in the world for cricket which IPL then ICC could do more international matches, but because now all boards want money they are trying to open there own league. for eg south african league is again going to happen with the help of IPL owners, UAE is also going make their own team with IPL owners and same goes for CPL as well. So it's true that IPL provides more money to players for there growth but ultimately it benefits the players and boards as well as they get a % share of their players playing in IPL.
