Hi Dan, I need a little help on one I'm putting together. Watching your videos I noticed there is no cut notch/slot in the rudder for the pull-pull. Mine is stock/still covered and I can't find one in my rudder. What are you going to do to set up rudder control? Is the wood in the lower rudder solid? Would a pull-pull rod work? Thanks, Steve
Hey Steve, yeah so I noticed the same. My project is moving at a crawl. I'm taking the time to make some scalish modifications. I did notice the same thing and I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. My buddy whom had the same model slotted the rudder out to accept the composite horns that came with the model. I have considered both the HD pull pull system and the CY composite pull pull horns. I am not quite there yet, but I am leaning more towards the HD pull pull by dubro. Let me know what you decide.
@@hangar88 Hi Dan, Thank for the response. I actually thought about the Du-bro system while I was waiting for a response. I think it will be an easier install than cutting the slots. I will probably use the HD cables but a lighter weight rod system to save weight. I also added 2 more hinge pins to the rudder. 4 would have been great from the factory and I don't trust just having 3 over time. So adding the 2 more, beefed up the top and bottom. ANY thoughts on locating the cable slots exiting the fuse? Thanks Steve
I beleive you are talking about the 96". My current model the 80" can't even accept a 70cc twin without blowing out holes in the cowl for the cylinder heads. 120cc would be overkill for this airframe.
If you're gonna build it. Build it right the first time. And sometimes it takes a big set of balls. You're gonna be proud of what you accomplish 👍😎👊
That ain't no lie brother. May take a little more time but it'll be worth it.

Hey Steve, are you on Facebook, Messenger, or any other social media platforms?
@@hangar88 No I'm not

60çç is too small for a CY
This is the 81". 61cc will be plenty for this plane.
