The way he brags about his parents is so sweet of him.
I like how open minded and good hearted person the old man is.
He looks so Korean now, I wouldn't have guessed he isn't. And the way he talks about his parents are very sweet

I always feel happy for kids like him who is offered better chances at life. I am touched by his changed life and his thankfulness and appreciation for the blessings he received. I have a migrant friend who still work as a Vietnamese house maid , now in her 50s. Her youngest son was left alone in the village with very old grandparents at a very young age of 10. He got so lonely and bored as he grew up , ran out to play alone and subsequently met with some delinquents who take drugs and this boy in his twenties now is a drug addict. My friend always blames herself for what happened and her heart is filled with pain and shame, even fearful when she goes home for a very short yearly break . Her son demanded money from her , sometimes sold house equipments to get money , sold the bicycle , the only mode of transport to go around the village .. and all these from hard earned money that my friend suffered working and living inside employers’ homes with no rights of authority, working long hours

Such a lovely family. They may not be the most outwardly affectionate people but you can see it their eyes and actions how much they love one another. 🥰
Also, the dad is totally relatable. My mom "complains" that she only gets to go to nice places if I am around for family dinner. 😂

Pity his childhood tho. Being passed around bc people couldnt support him. Hes grown to be such a nice kid but i kinda don’t understand why the mom left him tho. Hes still living in a dorm rn so thats kinda confusing. Imagine if the stepdad didnt adopt him. Would she have left her kid all these while?
maybe his biological dad had custody of him first while his mom went abroad? as for the dorm, if you watched the previous other videos, he's attending a special multicultural trade school that focuses on immigrant youths where they require students to live in dorms. the dorms help them to focus on their education while improving their korean language skills

Maybe because of her financial situation, the mother had to leave him behind while she worked overseas... I'm glad she is now able to bring him to Korea with her husband's blessing.

He's such a great young man. His parents must be so proud of him. I am and I don't even know him. lol also, yes I love me a bowl of doenjang jjigae, but nothing beats a table full of Vietnamese food. The food got me drooling.

So he’s Vietnamese Korean?
Yes since he was adopted legally by a Korean person which makes him korean, but he is full vietnamese. He has a Korean citizenship and no longer a vietnamese one.
