I’ve seen fewer McDonald’s with play areas these days. And the indoor ones ( the only ones I think still exist) I see have been made smaller since the 2010’s building remodels
no that is a playground at oak grove baptist church. the don’s nearby donated it and it’s still used by kids despite how gross it looks. i played in it a lot during my childhood but now i am morbidly a beast therefore i cannot fit my grotesque lard contaminated body inside
My local McDonald's still has its play place from 2001 they renovated in 2017 and just put new stickers on it. They also showcase different McDonald's toy in cases. From 1995-2011
the one not too far from my work still has it but is completely renovated if I remember correctly, it was part of the first renovation IDK know when it oh and the party room is no longer there
I loved playing in the play places a lot everytime we go to a McDonald’s that has one back in the mid late 2000s until I once remember having a backrooms like nightmare when I was a kid of me alone getting lost inside the playland tubes and that helped me grow my habits of me playing in the play places. I was around 7-6 when I had that dream.
I grew up going to the one on Bald Hill Rd in Warwick RI. Even without the tubes we all went down the slide at once (slide clogging) before we realized you should put a LOT of weight on those things. They ended up remodeling in Sept '18 and I was upset. BE CAREFUL because those aren't easy/safe to relocate. btw those types of PlayPlaces are the ones outside (they never really had this type of layout for indoor ones).
Somebody REALLY needs to save one of the massive play places. They will be gone completely. I wish i would have asked my mcdonalds to take theirs when they demolished it. It was 30 ft tall and a huge part of my childhood. I cant find any videos of the tall ones anywhere. But i could map out the layouts of all the play places if i sat ant throught about it. Its so sad kids dont play anymore. Just sit inside on game consoles
I remember these outdoor play places, from what I remember I barley ever saw them they were usually inside, I'm guessing the newer ones were inside, I remember them being bigger than this and less like a regular playground though
