Great video I am in the process of changing all my filters . Did my air filter this one is next and then the fuel filter could you do a tutorial on the process for fuel filter on this exact van
Hi @robertmcgloan1257 If and when a Transit Connect comes in for a fuel filter change we will for sure record it. However it is a waiting game as to if and when a customer brings this in. Thanks for watching
Super clear instruction video went ahead a completely serviced my own van step by step watching this and it has saved the pocket... when u say leaks what leaks would u expect if any? And my colant is on min at the moment does it matter wat brand i put back in its a pink colour an the moment
Hi Paudie Checking for leaks after a quick drive after an oil change is precautionary, just to make sure everything has been tightened correctly. I wouldn’t expect to see anything but never hurts to check. And regarding the coolant fluid top up doesn’t matter what brand, just match the colour. And thanks for watching 😀
I enjoyed the video. We have the Ford Transit vans here in the USA but I'm not sure the diesel engine is available here. In the end, what brand and weight of oil did you use in this application?
Hi John Glad you liked the video. And I agree - it's definately towards the top of the list when it comes to vehicles with awkwardly placed servicable parts. Thanks for watching
@@carjunkieschannel I hate mentioning it again but my BMW e30 has the oil filter on top of the engine secured by one bolt in it's housing, the air filter is held in by 4 clips and the sump nut faces outwards so dont even have to get under the car. Thanks for reply-- I have to do a relatives Transit and this has been a great help.
Thank you for the video. I wouldn't have even found the filter without this

Hi Johnny
Glad you liked the video. The oil used was a 5w/30 fully synthetic low Ash C3 engine oil made by Triple QX, just over 6 litres
Thank you )

Very good video. Terrible sump plug and awkward positioning of the filter. Not designed for the home mechanic.
