Please always quote the final amount 25 - 30 yrs hence after adjusting for Inflation. If possible include a step up SIP Calculator and a Inflation adjusted Calculator in ET money app.
Thank you for your financial education. Could you please possibly advise, what could be an ideal mf portfolio for people who are in the age group of 40-45 and want to invest 60-70k/m for a period of 10yrs with a moderate risk.
I’ve started investing in three mutual funds: Quant Small Cap, HDFC Small Cap, and Parag Flexi Cap. Should I keep investing in these or make changes and add any more funds to get higher returns with a 10 year timeframe. Any advice?
First of all you must know that small cap funds are suitable only for investors who understand the risks of investing in them. Secondly, you can check the suitability of these funds within few minutes on the ET Money App. You need to take the ' Investor Personality Assessment' on the App. And it will tell you about your risk profile and suitable investments. Also, if you 'map your external portfolio' on the ET Money App, you will get an unbiased answer to your question. So, do these 3 Steps: -->Go to the ET Money App -->Take Investor Personality Assessment -->Map your External Portfolio

Hey, going by the numbers, 20 lakh lumpsum invested at 28% CGR can become Rs 2.3 crores in 10 years. However, the markets are doing fabulous at present hence, you are getting an XIRR of 28%. We would suggest you to keep your returns expectations on a slightly conservative note. So, assuming a return of 12%, your 20 lakh investment would grow to Rs 62 Lakh in 10 years. Similarly, at 15%, the corpus would be around Rs 80.9 Lakh. Apart from this, you must know that mid caps and small caps are extremely volatile category of funds. Don't just go by their recent performance. You must invest as per your risk profile. To figure out your risk profile, take the 'Investor Personality Assessment' on the ET Money App. It will hardly take a few minutes. Form thereon, you will be guided about your suitable investment options. Hope this helps..!
